Day 18 – Gratitude Challenge

Look for things that you appreciate where you are. It will put you in a place of perfect allowing, even when you are not yet manifesting all that you want. “There are many people right now experiencing the dream that is coming for me, who were at one time standing right where I’m standing. I’m right on track. There is not anything amiss here. Everything is unfolding perfectly. I am perfect where I am and gravitating to something that will satisfy me even more.” That’s the attitude that lets it expand.  ~  Abraham

One of the most pleasurable and powerful ways to draw things into your reality is through that gentle art of daydreaming.

When we are counting our blessings, and magnifying our attitude of gratitude we can more easily begin to imagine for ourselves a future filled with all manner of possibilities.

I am constantly grateful for my imagination, creativity and the sense of possibility for what my future may hold.

I’m also grateful that such a powerful tool – visualisation – is free, and easy to use any time I want.

Most of us daydreamed when we were children – whether we were imagining ourselves with superpowers, or seeing ourselves living some sort of exciting life when we grew up.

Sadly, most of us put our dreams away as we become ‘responsible adults’ and we forgot that magical ability to dream ourselves into a different reality.

Let’s get back on track by counting our Blessings…

Counting Our Blessings and Using our Gratitude Rock

If you need a detailed reminder of our daily process, you can review it here in Day 1 of the Gratitude Challenge.

  1. List five Blessings in your journal, explaining why you are grateful for each one.
  2. Count your Blessings off on your fingers, summoning positive emotion and saying Thank You from your heart for each one.
  3. Tonight before you go to sleep, hold your Gratitude Rock and affirm I am richly Blessed. I have an Abundance of Good in my life. Visualise one thing you have been grateful for today. Swell that positive energy up in your heart like a beautiful golden light, and give a heart-felt Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Universe, then imagine a tiny shower of golden light travelling from your heart into your Gratitude Rock.
  4. Still holding your Gratitude Rock, bless your fellow travellers on this Gratitude Journey by sending them golden light, and saying Thank you.  I Bless You.  I intend for you Love, Miracles and Abundance. Know that as you are saying this for them, they are also saying this for you. Feel that connection and gratitude and know that there is real love and support for you here. Place your rock back beside your bed, and go to sleep, cocooned in this good energy.

If all you do each day is these first four steps, know that is enough.

If you feel especially flat, then carry your Gratitude Rock with you, or lie/sit in bed at the start or end of the day, and hold it over your heart so that its energy can recharge you.

If you have an abundance of gratitude and feel-good energy, send some extra to your fellow travellers on this journey, with the intent to uplift those who need it. You can do this as easily as closing your eyes and imagining or intending it be so.

The beautiful thing about this challenge is that we are all in this together, helping and energising each other, and amplifying our collective energy.

Are you ready to manifest more Blessings?  If your answer is yes, then join me for today’s additional Challenge:

Dream Board/ Vision Board

Today we’re going to create a dream board.  A Dream Board or Vision Board is a visual representation for your dreams.  It allows you to find images that match the energy of the things you would like to draw into your life.
Flick through some brochures or magazines and pull out any pictures that appeal to you. If words ‘jump out’ at you and make you feel good, cut those out too!  Then arrange them on a large sheet of cardboard or paper, and glue them on.
Somewhere on your board write the words Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.  Then place your completed dream board where you will see it often.  Mine is on the wall opposite my bed, so I see it first thing in the morning an last thing at night. (I’ve manifested so many of my dreams that I’m almost ready to create a new set of images.)
Really have fun with this activity, and don’t censor yourself.  Let your vision board represent your innermost desires and cherished dreams. If Porsches and SuperYachts aren’t really your thing – don’t put them up there!  Choose things you genuinely desire for yourself.

  1. I’m especially appreciative of YOU tonight! I have so many blessings in my life and I have a gift for painting and other visual arts and I am going to remind myself that my life is unfolding at the exact pace for me. I am only as spectacular as I truly believe. This takes work, but i am tired of living up to others’ expectations. Iamnotshe , I am me, and that’s cool. All good. xxxxooo

  2. It’s true–we don’t allow ourselves to daydream once we “grow up.” We often think of dreams as childish, but you have validated the power of childlike imagination. You are right, Nicole, it is so important to “hold fast to your dreams.”

  3. Ahhh, another challenge that is also something I practice every day – yay! :) I love the idea of the dream board, and will add that part into what I already do …. thank you! :) Printed and will return. xoxox

  4. Dear Nicole,
Many thanks for 18 wonderful days on the Gratitude Challenge – so inspiring and uplifting – I particularly enjoyed the short video today and the short mediation of light yesterday – thank you, thank you, thank you. From your friends in South Australia and Tasmania.

  5. Again, Nicole… SERENDIPITY!

I hadn’t read your blog post for Day 18, had no clue you were talking about the Vision Board, but for me, today was all about *manifesting* what I want. You see, I was in sort of a slump and couldn’t think of what to be grateful for, so I went ahead and wrote about what I’m grateful for… but which hasn’t manifested itself yet.

How about that? I’m amazed at how in sync I am with this challenge, lol!

Her is my blog post for Day 18: http://muddlavoie.com/blog/rituals/30-days-of-gratitude-day-18-abracadabra/

    LET THE MAGIC BEGIN!
    xoxo

  6. Thankyou!! I absolutely loved creating my dream/vision board today… What a positively great way to manifest.. 😃
