Becoming by Letting Go

If it’s to be, it’s up to me…

There is a powerful but much forgotten Law in the Universe – The Law Of Reciprocation. I’m sure you are familiar with it, although you might not know it by this name. Effectively it means that for every action there needs to be an equal and opposite reaction. Give and take. Keeping things balanced…

It’s a good one to keep in mind when we want to manifest change in our lives. Think of change as being a little like a mathematical equation. In order to become or to have something new you’ll need to give up something old that no longer serves you.

We become by letting go…

Last night at my retreat we did a Full Moon Becoming Ceremony. It concluded with the burning of lists we had created, stating what we were ready to release in order to claim new gifts and energies in our lives .

(We were of course spurred on by the thought of chai and dessert at the conclusion of our ritual!)

If change isn’t happening for you (no matter what area of your life) and if you are ready to manifest something new, take a little time and ask yourself honestly, what are you prepared to let go, in order to create the space and the energy for something new.

There are wonderful and supportive energies right now for creating shift. I encourage you to be brave, and to have a bigger vision for yourself. Allow yourself the gift of Becoming. Embrace change and welcome growth.

What are you ready to release?

What are you ready to become?

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Thank you for this post, Nicole. It means so much because . . . I passed my defense!

I am looking forward to not having the dissertation hanging around my neck anymore and whatever the future brings 🙂

  2. I did the ceremony last night too – it was a long list! It burnt very quickly – I liked the symbolism of that – as if it was so ready to be let go of. Thanks Nicole xx

  3. This is Sotheby’s place where I am at – letting go, releasing all that noa longer serves, in every realm. Sadly no one is offering me chai and dessert when I am done. Hee hee. Your retreat astounds like a blessing for all the senses. Namaste.
