Win a Magical Talisman Just For You!

“Believe something and the Universe is on its way to being changed. Because you’ve changed, by believing. Once you’ve changed, other things start to follow. Isn’t that the way it works?”
~ Diane Duane, So You Want to Be a Wizard

Last week I shared the story of how I brought my friend Carly’s magical Writing Talisman into being. A Talisman is a small spiritual object which has been created with love and infused with specific energies to help attract or achieve a certain outcome.

Made by my own hands from feathers found at my farm, and with the energies of Crow and Magpie, I crafted this Talisman to help Carly with her writing – so that she might be encouraged to share her personal story. The Talisman was an entreatment to go deeper, to be brave in sharing truth, at gifting this story in a way that might illuminate the way for others. I supported the energy of the feathers with banded red and black agate, bone, marble, black tourmaline, rosewood and a few chakra stones that support communication and flow of words.

I also had two other feathers, one from a Green Catbird and one from a Black Cockatoo. I knew that from them I would craft a second Talisman which I would give away to one of you, my dear readers.

But it didn’t feel complete until Madam Crow gifted me a third feather.

Now I shall shape these three beautiful feathers into something specific to you. I won’t actually finish my Talisman until I have chosen a winner. Then I will tune in to you and select the stones, beads and other embellishments that will hold and enhance the spiritual energies that I place into this Talisman, ready to gift those energies to you. It will be custom-made to your own energies and needs.

Do you think this Talisman might be for you?

If so, then enter your name in the comments section below.

And every time you share this post on facebook, instagram or twitter with the hashtag #NicoleCodyTalisman I’ll give you an extra entry into the competition.

I will draw the Winner on Saturday November 5th at 8pm Brisbane Australia time, and announce the winner here on the blog on November 7, 2016.

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

I symbolize with feathers I believe they are sent from my cousin that passed at a young age it seems like when I need him he sends me a white feather and then I know he’s OK and I’ll be OK my Dad sends me pennies from heaven all these are signs that are loved ones are still there comforting and watching over us. Thanks Nicole I hope I will be considered to receive this gift of hope, love and healing .

  6. Dear Nicole, Thank you for the opportunity to put my name in for this talisman. I recently had the experience of a magnificent bird flying into the window of our holiday cottage, just as I read the words in a book that said that I should get out of my own way when it comes to writing. I have been unable to identify the bird in any Australian bird book I can find, but your green and yellow feather has reminded me of him. He was incredible and I know that his sudden death was a clear and direct message for me; and the sign of a feather is now a life long reminder and prompt for me to sit down and write. Yesterday a tiny white, seemingly wedge tailed feather appeared in our Brisbane garden and I knew what it meant as my brother in law lies dying. It is not a coincidence that the birds are surrounding our house these last weeks, in a way that has not happened in the 12 years we have lived here. So yes please, I am hoping this precious creation of yours might be meant for me! Much love and gratitude xxx

  7. Beads n feathers, what a delightful gift.
I would love to be at the workshop, but for the tyranny of distance, I’d do it. So online it must be. Though one day I will physically attend one of your retreats.
    Thank you. 💚

  8. I would be very grateful for an entry into the prize draw. Am finding life very difficult at present and am struggling to find my path. A talisman to support me would be a great blessing. Thank you for the opportunity to try.

  9. Love, love, love feathers! As you know, I draw feathers and am always finding them. I have a couple of the green, black and yellow smaller feather. Sorry, I know you have said catbird, but I believe this feathers is from a Rainbow Lorikeet, which has a lovely happy energy, so whoever has the honour of winning it will receive a lot of joy into their life. Love the Tiger Eye (?) and Turquoise too. We used to live in Tom Price 100 years ago, and tiger eye and tiger iron were found in the Pilbara. Looking forward to doing the online course as I am away for the pop up shop one. Hugs xxx

  10. Pleased to hear of the coming online courses next year.

  12. I can feel the edge of the crow feather on the edge of my fingers, they have been watching me curious sensing the change in me💦 and again last night calling to me and saying a farewell to my little shadow my kitty that was bitten by a snake. 🐍 the colour energy for healing that is coming to me is the turquoise colour of the beads their colour runs through my veins 🌟🙏🐉

  13. I am sure your magical Talisman is going to be a gift to treasure. Thanks Nicole for this opportunity. Hope you are feeling better.XOXO

  14. What a wonderful gesture dear Nicole on top of so much you already give us. I have a precious catbird who visits my garden almost every day – how absolutely wonderful it would be to win a beautiful catbird feather talisman crafted by such a beautiful soul!

Please put me in the draw, Elisabeth

  15. ‘Black Cockatoo’ is my indigenous totem…the feather of ‘Green Catbird’ a marvel of nature’s design palet and my old friend MadameCrow..feasting & visiting daily on the fruits of the Bangalow Palms outside my kitchen window. A Talisman made by you would be awesome, so I’ll leave it in the lap of existence to see what unfolds. Hope your well too sweetie!…XO

  16. Thanks Nicole… as I opened the email and saw the heading/pic… the immediate feeling/thought was ~ ‘I could really do with some help right now…’ hope you’re well and thriving…. marilyn <3 <3
