Slow Morning at the Farm

It’s a slow start here at the farm this morning. The air is cool, everything is damp after the night’s gentle showers and all of us are feeling relaxed and mellow.

The strawberries are ripening.

In the kitchen there is another enormous box of peaches and nectarines being prepped for more pies, jam and chutney.

I have a pot of tea on the go, and a delicious omelette finishing off on the stove, ready for breakfast.

Create Positive Change Program – Week 6

2013 and 2014 are years for inviting and creating powerful positive change in our lives. And knowing that, there’s a decision to be made…

Do I actively seek change and open myself to these energies, or do I remain closed and passively let life keep happening to me?

If you’re working through this program, you’ve already made that decision. YOU are aligning yourself with these energies and you WILL invoke and create change.

When we recognize our desire for a new way of being, and we begin to work with and practice that commitment out in the world, it’s amazing how the Universe musters to our aid. We live in a complex interconnected energetic system, and our thinking and actions magnetize us to attracting more of whatever it is that we are thinking about and focusing on.

This week we’re going to make deliberate use of that assistance by putting our attention on who can help us, and what tools we already have, or might to add to our toolkit!

Count Your Blessings!

Your Blessings Book should be filling up nicely by now. Are you noticing any themes, any particular people, places or things that regularly give you pleasure and joy? What’s recharging you and filling your soul with gratitude?

Recording the small and simple blessings and the incredible moments in our day reminds us of the positive energy already present in our lives.  As we focus on this positive feel-good energy, we attract more of these moments and blessings into our lives.

Once again, this week write down three blessings in your life every day – three simple things for which you are grateful. Counting our blessings puts us into a more receptive and abundant state of mind.

Write them like this: Today I am thankful for (the blessing) because (write down a simple reason). eg: Today I am grateful for soft green grass beneath my feet, because I live in a lush and vibrant place and walking on the earth makes me feel grounded and nurtured.

Affirm the Positive!

Take your rock from Week Five and thank it. Write the Affirmation you used in your Blessings Book. You can now place the fifth rock beside your bed or somewhere where you’ll see it often.

Select the sixth rock from the eight you selected at the start of this course. This is your sixth Affirmation Stone. Carry it around with you, or place it somewhere where you can see and hold it every day.

Hold this sixth stone in your hands. Now think of something else in your life that you want to change. This week we’re focusing on what we want to ATTRACT. Affirm that as a statement of declaration to the Universe.

Be bold and creative with this. It doesn’t matter how big or small your desire for attraction is.

State it like this: I now attract ______.

But…

Yeah, you knew there’d be a but!

And here it is: When you affirm this declaration, you must be able to feel in your heart that it is possible so that you connect with the integrity and possibility of the statement. If you can do that, you’ll be creating powerful magic. But if you can’t you’ll actually be making yourself anti-magnetic to that thing!

Let me show you a simple way to see if you’re on track with this week’s affirmation:

Lets just suppose that your desire is to create more money in your life. So your first affirmation is

I now attract a massive Gold Lotto Win.

Say that affirmation out loud and then immediately tune in to your heart. What’s going on there? Can you truly visualise that happening? Can that statement be real for you? If that voice inside you is saying, ‘Oh sure – like that’s ever going to happen!’, if you’re feeling wriggly and stupid and uncomfortable, or like an outright fraud? Well, they’re pretty clear indications that you are NOT aligned with this statement and you’re out of integrity with it. So the message you’re actually putting out into the Universe is more like this:

I am so unworthy of financial gain. I am comfortable with lack.

And you know what? The Universe always delivers…

If money’s what you need, then find another way to express that which fits more comfortably with your current belief structure. Maybe something like this:

I now attract increased cash flow. Abundance comes to me in small and surprising ways.

This is one I’ve personally used, and it has served me well. Note the little modifier I put on the end of my affirmation. At the time I was so broke, so on struggle street that it seemed implausible and impossible for my fortunes to suddenly change. (even now I want to reach back in time and give that insecure low-self-esteem me a big hug!) Back then I could never see me winning lotto! But little extra bits of money and abundance? Yes, I could be comfortable with that.

Do you know what happened when I used that affirmation? I got an unexpected refund on an item, my phone company told me they’d overcharged me and gave me a credit towards my next bill, I found twenty dollars in a pants pocket, and then, most surprisingly of all, I found $800 in fifty dollar bills just blowing along a main road when I went for a walk one really early morning. When I rang to report it to the police, they told me to keep the money as ownership would be impossible to prove.

So, the big thing I want you to really understand here is the importance of choosing an affirmation that your heart feels ready for, excited about and in tune with!

Each day hold your affirmation stone in your hands and repeat the declaration, out loud, or in your mind. You can do this just once, or as many times as you like. Say your declaration with enthusiasm and commitment. Put lots of energy into the words I NOW ATTRACT. Feel yourself aligning to the vibration of this new energy in your life.

Get excited!

Using your Gratitude Rock

Each night this week work with the energy of this special stone. As you hold your stone tonight say to yourself I am richly Blessed. I have an Abundance of Good in my life.  Then hold in your mind one or more image of a thing you have been grateful for today.  It doesn’t matter if you review your Blessings from your Blessing Book, or add in something new.  Swell that positive energy up in your heart like a beautiful golden light, and give a heart-felt Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Universe. Visualise a tiny shower of golden light travelling from your heart into your Gratitude Rock.

Now imagine all of the other people who are taking part in this Positive Change Program with us – people from all over the world, just like you. Once again build up a strong positive energy in your heart, and then imagine shooting a stream of golden light out into the Universe to those people. Each of us benefits for the love and support we share, and we grow stronger and more open and connected.

Say Thank you.  I Bless You.  I intend for you Positive Change, Love, Miracles and Abundance. Know that as you are saying this for them, they are also saying this for you. Feel that connection and gratitude and know that there is real love and support for you here. Place your rock back beside your bed, and close your eyes, cocooned in this good energy. Know that you ARE making positive change in the world, and in your life, and helping others to do the same.

Homework:

Find half an hour in your week, sit down with your journal and get comfy.

Review the shortlist of changes you want to create that you wrote down last week.

Then ask yourself the following two questions for each point:

  1. Who can help me?
  2. What do I already have in my toolkit that I can start using now?

Who can help me? This could be a course, a coach, a mentor, a friend, your partner, an on-line forum or a book, just to name a few.

What do you already have in your toolkit? Maybe you’ve completed some study, or gained experience, or made a start. Perhaps you already have the camera, the computer, the fabric, the art material, the bare patch of garden, a relationship that can be built upon.

Start to appreciate what you have in your life to use as a starting point, and be aware of what else you need so that you can begin to draw those people and energies into your life.

When you begin to become an active participant in the change process, all sorts of breakthroughs and synchronicities begin to occur.

Wishing you a week of insights, connections and magic. Have courage and belief in yourself and your dreams. This change you desire is entirely possible, especially when you become a willing co-creator of your own destiny. Don’t put it off. Now is the time!

Unblocking and Grounding your Foot Chakras

Ever felt any of the following?

  • Vague, disconnected and disoriented.
  • Spaced out, especially when doing meditation or other forms of spiritual connection.
  • Full of ideas but either can’t make a decision or can’t follow anything through from concept to completion.
  • Don’t hold healings, or chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture treatments etc for more than a few hours before the good results all dissipate.
  • Feel like you are exhausted even after a good night’s sleep.
  • Slow to heal.
  • Can’t seem to work out who you are or what you want.

If you answered yes to any of these you could be experiencing blocked foot chakras. On the underside of your foot, in your instep, is a large energy centre known as your foot chakra. This chakra works strongly to earth your base chakra. When the chakra is open, activated and grounded it also helps balance and energise all other chakras in the body.

These simple steps can help you to unblock and activate the chakras in your feet.

1. Take a large tub of warm water and place a number of smooth stones or tumbled crystals in the bottom.  Place your bare feet in the water and roll your feet over the stones until they feel energised.

I like to use a variety of crystals that work with each of the major chakras so that I have a rainbow of colour. But I always advise you just to use what you are drawn to. Trust that your own soul knows best what it is you need.

2. Dry your feet and then stand barefoot upon the earth. Look down at your feet and visualise the chakra in the sole of your foot spinning and opening and energetically connecting into the energy of the Earth. Really allow yourself to feel this connection.

3. Shake the tension out of your hands, loosen your shoulders and give your body a good energetic shake out.

4. Now raise your arms up to the sky and draw that energy of the sun and the moon and the stars down in through your hands and the top of your head.

5. Draw the energy of the earth up through your feet and your base chakra. Feel strong like a well grounded tree, roots deep down into the earth.

6. Have all of the energy meet at your heart; healing, balancing and empowering your entire body.

7. Finally, nurture and nourish your foot chakras and help anchor that grounded energy by rubbing a few drops of pure sesame oil into the soles of your feet. Sesame oil also helps us open to abundance and to be comfortable with flow and positive manifestation.

Working with your foot chakras is a simple act of self nurture than can give lasting benefits and improved well-being on all levels.

A few weeks ago I first blogged about my Secret Dreams Project.  The idea for this project sprang from a life-changing experience I had as a child.

When I was young I went to a funny little arts and crafts store in a tiny country town. The woman who owned it was an artist, and she dressed like a fairy. There was a big sign in her shop saying that she was a keeper of precious secrets, and so I plucked up my courage and wrote her a heartfelt and painstaking letter about how when I grew up I wanted to be a writer and for my words to be good enough to touch people’s lives. AND SHE WROTE BACK TO ME!!! She told me she believed in me and my dream, and that she would bless my letter with fairy magic, and keep my letter safe until my dreams came true.

For an eight-year-old that was a pretty profound experience. There is something incredibly powerful about the act of someone else believing in you and your dreams, and that’s what my Secret Dreams Project is all about.

I have committed to becoming the Keeper of your Secret Dreams.  Together, you and I will hold the intention of your most precious and personal dreams becoming reality.

All I ask is that you write me a letter, outlining your secret dreams. Write it with love and hope, and as much detail as you can.  Fervently believe that your dream is possible.  Then bravely put your dreams in an envelope and send them to me at:

This is a big step, putting your dreams out into the Universe.  And I take the responsibility of being the Keeper of your Dreams very seriously.  So my promise to you is that I will read your letter, offer a prayer for you to achieve your dream, and hold a vision in my mind of you achieving it. I will believe in you, and I will believe for you. I’ll hold the energetic space that allows for your dream to be possible. I’ll keep your secret dreams safe, and protect your privacy.

I will also program a small crystal with the intent that you achieve your dream.  Then I’ll place that crystal in my garden where it can beam that energy out for you 24/7 – charged up by the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and the Stars.

Making My Life Work for Me! – A 6 Week Journal Program

I’ve been quite overwhelmed with the flood of messages and emails since yesterday’s post on Remembering to take care of YOU!  Seems that many of you are feeling unfulfilled, overwhelmed, under-appreciated, stuck in a life where you’re just going through the motions or too busy looking after everyone else to even start on the things that are dear to your hearts.

Well my lovelies, that just isn’t good enough!  You are here to shine your light in the world! You have talents and desires that deserve airplay in your lives!

Perhaps you may remember me talking about the energies of 2013 -

’2013 is a foundation year of growth and positive change, where we are reflecting these energies out from ourselves as we inhabit a place of stronger authenticity, awareness and connection. This year, as we sit in our personal power, we will feel a desire to contribute, to explore, to dream up new ways of being, and to action those dreams in the world.  It is a time for visionaries, leaders and the building of lasting change.’

Because I want you to make the most of this fantastic energy for change I’ve decided to create a simple weekly course, delivered right here each Monday over the following 6 weeks, to help you get clear about what’s important to you and how to make your life more meaningful and satisfying.

The foundation of this course is going to be:

  • Journalling
  • Gratitude
  • Meditation, and
  • Visualisation

and I’ll be holding your hand every step of the way.

So to get ready for next Monday I need you to do a few things;

  1. Find or buy yourself a journal.  Choose one without lines because we need to be able to write, draw and glue stuff.  Let it be big enough that you can actually fit some stuff on the pages.  It doesn’t need to be expensive – even a kid’s cheap scrapbook or scribble book would do.
  2. Get some art materials together.  Nothing fancy – just some scissors, glue, coloured crayons or felt pens, and some old magazines you can cut up. You’ll also need some pens or pencils for writing with.
  3. Find a scarf, shawl or wrap in a favourite colour that empowers you.
  4. Choose a deck of positive cards (such as Angel Cards etc) or runes and a rune book.
  5. Select a crystal of your choice.

It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be enlightening. And it’s going to propel you into action.  Hooray for that! Bless ♥ xx

Day 30 – Gratitude Challenge

There is a natural flow and inter-connectedness within the Universe, and we are part of that energy too. No matter how ordinary and mundane we may feel from day to day, the truth is that we are incredible BEings – we are Souls having a physical experience here in this lifetime.

Each of us is Blessed with a way to tap into that interconnectedness of all things.  It’s called intuition. If you doubt this, think for a minute: Have you ever thought of a friend and then they called you? Have you ever had a hunch, a positive feeling about something, an insight or understanding without knowing why?  Has your body ever communicated with you by showing you what makes it feel good, and what doesn’t?

We are strongly guided. We are deeply loved. And each of us has the ability to use our thoughts and emotions to influence our reality. In truth we are all Lightworkers. The more we release feelings of fear and lack, and move into a place of gratitude, trust and abundant thinking, the more our inherent intuition and spiritual connection will strengthen – acting as a compass to guide us through life’s journey.

Today, take a moment to tune into the music of the universe, and the wisdom of your own heart. Be grateful for your sensitivity, your energy, your intuition, the Infinite Love that surrounds you, and for your connection to that Love.

Counting Our Blessings and Using our Gratitude Rock

  1. List five Blessings in your journal, explaining why you are grateful for each one.
  2. Count your Blessings off on your fingers, summoning positive emotion and saying Thank You from your heart for each one.

Write the following words on a piece of paper, feeling the truth of this energy in your heart,  and add this paper to the ones already under your Gratitude Rock : I am connected to all things, and I honour and claim my spiritual and energetic connection with the World. I am grateful for my intuitive gifts.  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
  4. Tonight before you go to sleep, hold your Gratitude Rock and affirm I am richly Blessed. I have an Abundance of Good in my life. Visualise one thing you have been grateful for today. Swell that positive energy up in your heart like a beautiful golden light, and give a heart-felt Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Universe, then imagine a tiny shower of golden light travelling from your heart into your Gratitude Rock.
  5. Still holding your Gratitude Rock, bless your fellow travellers on this Gratitude Journey by sending them golden light, and saying Thank you.  I Bless You.  I intend for you Love, Miracles and Abundance. Know that as you are saying this for them, they are also saying this for you. Thank You For Our Connection!

Get comfortable and close your eyes.  Visualise all of the friends across the world who have been supporting you on this 30 Day Gratitude Challenge.  Each night, before they go to sleep, they have been sending you positive energy and intention – they have been sending you the energetic vibration of Love, Miracles and Abundance.

Today, flow positive Energy, Love and Gratitude back to them.  Imagine it as golden light flowing energetically from you and travelling all across the world, blessing these souls with your intention and emotion.  You don’t even need to use specific words if you don’t want to – just energy and emotion. Remember to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You from your heart.

Really feel the inter-connectedness and Oneness of all things.  Feel your place in the world and this invisible energetic bridge that links our hearts and souls.

Allow a feeling of connection to flood through you.  Open yourself up to it. Trust in it. Know that you are a Spiritual BEing having a physical experience and that this energetic connection is your birthright.

Give Thanks for your spiritual nature. Give Thanks for your spiritual connection.  Really feel the Love and Energy that is always around you and flowing to you.  All you ever have to do is connect in with your heart.  It’s as simple as that!

Day 29 – Gratitude Challenge

If there is one thing I have learned in this lifetime, it is this: When I love myself, when I am kind to myself and encouraging of myself, healing happens, doors open and life falls into place.

One of the singular most powerful acts you can perform that will transform your life is to have gratitude for YOURSELF.

Appreciate your own efforts, acknowledge your work and your growth, be gentle with yourself when you fail, and praise yourself when you pick yourself back up.

When we treat ourselves with love and respect, we are sending a strong message to the Universe – what we give out is what we attract back into our life. By respecting and loving ourselves, we attract respectful and loving relationships.

Do I need to add that by running ourselves down, selling ourselves short, heaping criticism upon ourselves, berating and blaming ourselves – we attract negative, exploitive and abusive relationships at home and at work?

There is only one you in the whole of creation and there will never be another soul with your unique blend of DNA, thoughts and experiences.

You bring something special to the Universe.

This life is a great gift, and your existence is no accident…

YOU – your unique talents and your very life are Blessings.  It’s true that this can be a challenging perspective at first, but I promise that the more you look at yourself through eyes of love and gratitude the more satisfying your life will become.

Today, think kind thoughts towards yourself, and cultivate an attitude of gratitude for this wonderful journey we call life!

Mirror, Mirror!

Go find some quiet place with a mirror. Stand or sit in front of it and close your eyes.  Think about your body for a moment.  Think of how it always works to serve you – so much going on inside you to keep you well and healthy – your body always doing its best for you.  Think of the gift of your mind – that ability to think, imagine, learn, visualise, problem-solve and create. Think of your heart’s ability to connect, to care, to love.  Think of your Soul’s wisdom. You truly are amazing.  Really swell that sense of gratitude for all that you are, and feel it building in your heart.

When you’re ready, open your eyes.  Look into your own eyes in the mirror and say I Love You, You are Enough. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

It’s okay if this is difficult.  It’s okay if you feel emotional. Just allow for some space in your understanding to know that it is true.

Day 28 – Gratitude Challenge

Money is not wealth.  Some of my most affluent clients do not have wealth- they just have bucket-loads of money.

So what is wealth?  Wealth is a measure of your true state of abundance.  Wealth is having a richness that supports your value system. What we value is what is important to us – what gives us pleasure, satisfaction, meaning and contentment. If your highest values in life are family and community, then your wealth will come from having a life filled with family and community-centred energies, activities and relationships.  If your highest values in life are financial security and travel, then a wealthy life for you will be about money in the bank, investments and having the money to take vacations away from home.

Money is just energy. Money is neither good nor bad – money is neutral until we put a charge on it based upon our own beliefs and attitudes. A dollar note has no value in and of itself – a dollar note is simply a convenient form of energy storage.  In fact, inside our bank accounts we don’t even have real money – instead we have numbers that represent the dollars that represent stored energy.

If you have positive beliefs about money, and respect for the value of the stored energy it represents, you’ll have a healthy and positive relationship to money.  If you have negative beliefs about money, or about the sort of people who have money, then you’ll find that you and money don’t get along so well…

Today, spend some time thinking about what makes you feel wealthy. Let go of needing to have money. Let go of judging wealth by the numbers in your bank account.  Forget the stereotyped images of what being rich is supposed to look like – mansions and mega-yachts won’t make you happy if they have no place in your value system. Focus on that luxurious feeling of abundance that is generated by having enough of what you want and some to spare.

For me, wealth is about having true friendships and people I love gathered around my kitchen table. Wealth is about having time for myself, and time to do the things I love.  Wealth for me is having enough money to cover my expenses, and to be able to buy things based on wanting and appreciating them versus buying things because I can afford them. I feel wealthy when I am giving and receiving love, engaging with my art, using my talents and gifts, and contributing to community.

What does true wealth look like for you? (If it is mansions and mega-yachts, good for you, but as the old adage says be careful what you wish for!)

When we fill our life with the things that make us happy we are wealthy beyond measure!  One way to get more of that good stuff in our lives is being thankful for what we already have.  Let’s start by counting our Blessings…

Counting Our Blessings and Using our Gratitude Rock

If you need a detailed reminder of our daily process, you can review it here in Day 1 of the Gratitude Challenge.

  1. List five Blessings in your journal, explaining why you are grateful for each one.
  2. Count your Blessings off on your fingers, summoning positive emotion and saying Thank You from your heart for each one.
  3. Write the following words on a piece of paper, feeling the truth of this energy in your heart,  and add this paper to the ones already under your Gratitude Rock : My life is filled with riches.  I have an abundance of all that is good and precious to me.  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
  4. Tonight before you go to sleep, hold your Gratitude Rock and affirm I am richly Blessed. I have an Abundance of Good in my life. Visualise one thing you have been grateful for today. Swell that positive energy up in your heart like a beautiful golden light, and give a heart-felt Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Universe, then imagine a tiny shower of golden light travelling from your heart into your Gratitude Rock.
  5. Still holding your Gratitude Rock, bless your fellow travellers on this Gratitude Journey by sending them golden light, and saying Thank you.  I Bless You.  I intend for you Love, Miracles and Abundance. Know that as you are saying this for them, they are also saying this for you. Feel that connection and gratitude and know that there is real love and support for you here.

If all you do today is these five steps, know that is enough.

Today’s gratitude challenge is about showing the Universe what we want our lives to look like…

What we think about and thank about, we bring about!

Whatever we think about and add strong emotion to, we begin to draw into our lives.  When we are grateful for the blessings we already have or have had in our lives, our thoughts and emotions align us to these experiences and relationships, and we become magnetic to other positive things with a similar vibration.

Sit back and close your eyes and then just allow yourself to daydream, focusing on experiences, relationships or possessions that give you a sense of wealth in your life.  Think of the places you’ve been, the weather you’ve known, the things around your home, the people in your life, the treasures within your community (sports fields, coffee shops, libraries, hospitals etc) You can use any of the things you have already listed in your gratitude diary, you can choose any moment from along the timeline of your life, and you can even move forward into the future, visualising positive situations that have not yet occurred but that you desire for yourself.  Steep yourself in this wealth.  Let its images wash over you, and sink deep into you.

Feel how many amazing blessings have already graced your life. Let that feeling of wealth, gratitude and joy build up inside you. Know that you are magnetising yourself to more and more good with this energy of appreciation. When you are ready give a heart felt Thank You to the Universe.  Thank You for my Abundant Wealth. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

My wish for you today is that you know how Loved and Blessed you are. My wish for you is that you see the world today through eyes of Gratitude and Love.  Bless ♥ xx

Day 27 – Gratitude Challenge

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive ~ Howard Thurman.

Life is not a career path! Life is a glorious opportunity to explore, to grow, to learn and to become.

No matter whether our lives currently reflect the way we want to live, or whether we have a long way to go to realise our dreams, we can begin to be happy where we are.

The more we find to be grateful for, the more good stuff starts to show up in our lives.  Transforming our energy and our attitude is as simple as cultivating that attitude of gratitude.

If you were to ask me what your purpose was for this lifetime, I could answer this in just two words – Be Happy.

If you needed a longer explanation, then I would say to you that happiness comes from using your natural talents and gifts to express yourself in the world.  Maybe your talent is to be a surgeon, maybe it’s to sew incredible curtains, you might be a natural parent, a brilliant writer, a nutty inventor, or a magical gardener.

In each twenty-four hour period, are you devoting ANY energy to doing things you enjoy and are good at?

Life doesn’t have to be a career path, although for some people it turns out that way. Sometimes a job is just the mechanism that provides the security and pays the bills, so that you can devote the rest of your time to doing what really makes your heart sing.

What makes your heart sing?  What makes you come alive?

Today, give thanks for those energies in your life, and do all you can to incorporate a little more of that activity on a daily or weekly basis.

And for some people, the thing we love and give attention to, grows to be able to support us financially anyway…

  4. Tonight before you go to sleep, hold your Gratitude Rock and affirm I am richly Blessed. I have an Abundance of Good in my life. Visualise one thing you have been grateful for today. Today’s gratitude challenge is about energising yourself to actions, activities and opportunities for you to feel good…

Living Happy!

Close your eyes, and think of a time when you were really happy in your life.  What were you doing?  What music did you listen to?  What food did you eat? Who did you hang out with? What was it about this time in your life that made it so magical?

Dwell on that time for a moment, and really feel the happiness, really feel that strong emotional connection and positive energy. Then build up a sense of gratitude in your heart.  Say a heart-felt Thank You to the Universe for the Blessing of happiness.

Now think of an activity that always engages you, relaxes you, makes you feel good…  It could be surfing, sewing, singing, writing, cooking, dancing, bushwalking, researching the family tree, painting or renovating, solving complex maths problems…  It doesn’t matter what it is – it only matters that you enjoy that thing!

See yourself doing that activity.  Feel the pleasure and satisfaction, feel the usefulness, feel the mental engagement or the sense of freedom. Just absorb yourself in thinking about this activity in a pleasurable way, so that it leaves you wanting more. Remember to say Thank You to the Universe for this gift in your life.

And when you’re done with day-dreaming, take your diary and schedule a little time for reconnecting with this activity in your life.  Plan to buy fabric, or go to the library and get a relevant book, or make some time to simply DO this thing in your life. Just for the love of it.  Just for how it makes you feel.  Life is for living, and for enjoying the journey. Make sure you make time to do something that you LOVE.
