“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”
– Dalai Lama
This week I’m going to focus on all things to do with the Heart Chakra. We’re going to have a heart-centred week. Starting tomorrow there will be activities, meditations and journalling techniques to help you to explore, heal and connect with your heart centre, and to attract more love into your life. I’ll also be doing work for you in my own daily healing meditations
In this space of greater connection with our hearts we have increased self love and self worth. We can attract loving relationships with others, and we move to a more positive emotional space.
Working with the energies of the heart also increases our intuition and psychic connection.
At the end of this week I shall also be giving away a beautiful Heart Chakra healing necklace, that uses crystals chosen specifically for their ability to work with the heart, including bloodstone, nephrite, jasper, green aventurine, prehnite, hematite and pearls.
To have a chance to win the necklace you just need to leave a comment after one of this week’s blog posts.
I hope you join me for this heart-centred week! Life is precious. Live from the heart. Love and Light, Nicole xx
6 February update: The winner of the necklace is Suzie Cheel. Congratulations!
i love this!
“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”
I ask God to continue to give me a loving heat and love huge daily. For life has no meaning without the wrd and action of love!
That’s beautiful! ♥ Love and kindness are central to my own beliefs too.
I love your blog and am excited by your insight!
Thank you, Michael. I’m glad you like it. ♥ xx
I had the most amazing day after sitting with the healing Heart Meditation Ritual. Why do we anoint with the oil anti-clockwise? and what are the vibrational attributes of Bergamot Oil? And it sure is the perfect time for growing, healing and loving…<3
Bergamot oil promotes joy, and letting go of old hurts and sorrows. Anti-clockwise for releasing. xx
Gratitude overflowing intermingled with some apprehension and fear to face the barriers between myself and love and forgiveness. Healing the Heart Chakra ritual is an ongoing necessity in my life….how beautiful to connect in this way….visualising healing white light and affirming on releasing all the barriers…to then anointing the heart with an invitation to be love. Forgiveness, acceptance and loving kindness is exactly where I need to be right now…Thank YOU for your guidance, love and support..X
Always happy to be here for you! It’s a great time for growing and loving and healing. Bless xx
This blog speaks directly to my heart. I’m so glad you started this journey. I imagine it is feeding the masses, daily, and reaching many dark and undiscovered spaces, both spiritually and geographically and letting in the light. Much love to you, beautiful one xox
Thank you Lynn. I decided a blog was the best way to reach people I had not met and could not otherwise support, as well as a great way to support those I already knew. It makes my heart sing, to write and create and be in flow. Love right back to you, dear friend xoxo
Finally a peaceful week ahead of me again and I will join in with you this week – better late than never. Sometimes I feel as we are surfing on the same wave, Nicole, because your blogs and fb comments often hit the nail right on the head for me at exactly the right time with the perfect words. Thank you, I appreciate you so much.
Love, Light & Health
There is a synchronicity and a connection that flows between us all, Inge. Glad to have you in my life xx
In my heart, figuratively, there is a brand new seed sprouting. It’s true. I don’t know how long this soul-wish has been waiting to burst into life but it feels like it’s been ages! Why did it take so long? Did I keep getting in my own way, or was it simply just not time yet? The universe holds me patiently in it’s hands. Gently and consciously I breathe hope into my expanding heart. “Breathe… my dear, follow your heart and live in the moment and now we are here with you wherever you go.” All of a sudden a title to a painting I created almost a decade ago ( after recovering from a spout of depression) resonates with me on a whole new level…. It was called ‘ I close my eyes and choose to breathe’
Thank you for your lovely blog Nicole. I look forward to finding my own life message and audience too. Warm regards.
Michelle, how lovely to find you here on my blog! I love this – “I close my eyes and choose to breathe’. Beautiful. Much love to you xx
Hey Gorgeous One, I’m going for an alliterative approach here – blissful, bountiful, balance for bodies benefiting all! Pampering pearls, awesome aventurine, heart-healing hematite, nurturing nephrite, power-inducing prehnite, joyous jasper, beautiful bloodstone. All decidedly delicious!!

Hi Nicole, loving your blog. I also love the simplicity of the Dalai Lama’s approaches to life, being patience, kindness and compassion. In the last week I discovered that I need to use this approach on myself and allow me to heal all the grief still within. So here is to patience, kindness and compassion and following the beautiful tips you bring to us through this blog. Much love, H xo
Yes, the Dalai Lama has a beautiful philosophy, and I try to live that philosophy each day. Like him, kindness is my religion. This will be a great week for you to clear grief and find love. Sending much love and light your way xx
