Congratulations! I’ve just gifted you a Free Pass. You might want to cut this out and store it in your wallet. You may also want to pass this one on to someone else who would benefit from it.
This is a magical ticket. It allows you to decline a usual activity or responsibility, so that you may replace it with one of your choosing. Used responsibly, this magical ticket has been found to have restorative properties for Body, Mind and Spirit.
I’m using my own ticket today. Although technically a day off for me, I had planned a mass of admin work; catching up on emails, phone calls and filing. But it’s rainy and cool, and way too early. So I’m going back to bed for a nice big sleep. When I wake up I’ll decide how to spend the rest of my day. So far I’m leaning towards yum cha, a movie and a good book.
PS – this ticket renews itself, so tuck it away after you’ve used it. Just knowing it’s in your wallet is often enough to get you through a tough patch. And when you really need it, it will be there for you. Enjoy! ♥ xx
A nice day of peace, movie, books. Lovely. Juts the ticket 😉
Brilliant! 😀
I LOVE it and will use it. I trust your day will be filled with all of the things and people you love.
It was a completely lovely day, Brenda. My free pass was well used indeed!

I think we all need to be reminded occasionally, Sarah. I spent some of my Free Pass on exploring guidebooks for Turkey. Huzzah! 😉
WOO HOO!! Bring on grand adventures!!! The preparation is such a fun part of the journey isn’t it? enjoy! now i must work on my next travel adventure, i’m thinking bali… sx

Enjoy that magical ticket, Lyn! I know I certainly am…
I did just that yesterday Nicole, and loved it! It was a beautiful rainy day here and I enjoyed a quiet day at home instead of rushing around.
Rest is so good for the Soul. Glad to hear you had a quiet day to yourself, Naomi. Much love to you xxoxx
That is a very nice idea, I hope you enjoy your lie in and your day off. 🙂
Lorna, you’ll be delighted to hear that I have had a host of visitors turn up, and I am busy making scones for them! Will post pic and recipe tomorrow 🙂
what a great idea!!!
It happens so often that I think; if i could only once have a day just for “me”, no responsibilities, no work, or cooking or any obligation.
If I was to use my ticket for one day, what I would like to skip is “talking” as simple as that!
It feels good to actually give yourself that gift, Nikky. I hope you get to use your ticket soon xx
I really need to!!! After work, I always ask my kids to give me some time of “silence”. I don’t mind if they talk or play or do whatever they want, but not talk to me.
Nikky, Use it as soon as possible. If that’s what you want that’s how you should use it! 🙂
– Stanley
