Red Dust and Wattle

There is a wide arc of blue sky above me. Beneath my feet the ground is stones and dust and tufts of brittle grass.

The air is filled with birdsong and the thresh and shuffle of wind in the treetops. Apart from that there is nothing. Just sunshine and space and peace.

Kangaroos sleeping under shady trees. Goanna winding his way down to the clear water of the creek.

Fragrant gum leaves and wattle blossom.

Australia’s wild spaces are so good for my soul…

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
