“The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.”
~ Henry Beston
It rained last night. Not just gentle rain but heavy, loud on the roof soaking rain. Nearly an inch of it.
The world is washed clean this morning, and the sun is out. The birds are singing, and so am I.
Come for a walk around the farm with me…
Beautiful visions, bright and squeaky clean sunny and serene. I’m so so happly your singing. Love and very big hug Lyn xx
Ah, how beautiful are your garden and animals! We had also a dog chewing on sticks and also a dog who laid a stone on a hillock top, let it roll down and ran after it. She could play all day doing so.
I waked up this morning as a blackbird was singing and I thought about the song. I will choose that song for my meditation.
Much love to you and your family 🙂 Jetske
I mean “Morning has broken” from Cat Stevens, beautiful song isn’t it? so tender. xoxox
That QUOTE! xoxo
WOW! Love your shots. I’ve been sent by Brie, who was sent by CoolCookStyle. I’m glad.

Thanks for visiting, and welcome! Much love to you, Portia xx
Gorgeous pictures! :-). And what’s Harry doing? Resting? Or licking the grass???
So cute 🙂
xoxo
He is actually chewing a stick… He is in a big ‘chew’ phase right now! 🐾
Beautiful! What’s for lunch? I’m hungry after all that walking. 🙂
You’d be most welcome! Miso soup, fresh pineapple and green tea today.
Wow, amazingly I think I could actually eat that, even on my limited diet. I’ll be right over. 🙂
Yay!
Favourite pic is the spider web and still being amazed at how big Harry (& Red Bull) have become.
Yes, all anything seems to do is eat and grow around here! Mind you, I’m not complaining…
Thank you for this wee wander around the farm. The spider web is exquisite.
And short lived – it was down quite low and Harry tried to lick the rain drops off it. At least he got to wear it like a tiara for a moment or two. 🙂
heh heh. that’s so cute.
Yes, until he and Bert ran down into the dam, rolled in all the stinky mud and then raced back up to the house ahead of me, found the door open and jumped straight up on my bed!!!
oh no. We have the same problem with spring time – so much mud and muck brought in the house, but fingers crossed, so far, hasn’t made its way to the bed!
Breathtaking pictures…..thank you, Nicole!
xx
You’re welcome. I’m just lucky I live in a little piece of Paradise! xoxo
