What Are You Waiting For?

“TIME: Today Is My Everything”
~ Richie Norton

Sometimes it’s good to rest, to step back and take time out, to think on things for a while…

But eventually, you’re going to need to take action.

Not much gets done on its own.

What one thing can you do this week that will make things better for you, brighter for you, that can get you on track with something important to you?

It might be one small action, repeated daily.

It could be a decision.

It might be one phone call, one email, one conversation.

Or it might be a journeying out into the world to find what you’re looking for.

Life is precious, and sometimes the only way we get out of the place we’re in is by our own actions.

Today I’m wishing you strength, clarity and courage. I’m also intending for you persistence.

This is your life. You’ve got things to do and places to be. What are you waiting for?

Let’s go!

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Timely blog for me. I want to quit my job, but I can’t. Interviewing for new ones…. First Runner up seems to be my new job searching label… You are right, it does take courage to keep going without quick, or even slow results. I do appreciate this post. Thank you.

    Have a lovely day,
    Lindsey

  2. Is this the sign I asked for? 😉
I can’t seem to get my head clear to make the decision….ie job offer= travel = fear I’ll miss my family so much= regret???
    Help 🙁

    1. There’s only one way to find out. Do it. If you don’t you’ll only regret it. If you do it and then find things are not what they seemed , or you miss your family too much, you can always come home again.
‘If only’ are two of the saddest words around, because they are the words we can do something about. Good luck.

    2. Thank you for helping me confirm my inner voice as this is exactly the ‘attitude’ I am taking 🙂
(Why is it I know stuff but don’t do/hesitate???)
Much appreciation for all you give x

  3. Showing my rural routes…I saw that pic and was stunned by the beauty of the cow. Glossy, full, muscular, clean….so much of what a cow ought to look and be…I LOVE it!!

    1. I mean….roots….oh boy, more coffee is needed apparently. And less distraction from the children and the laundry and the….ya know, I think it’s about time I took that rest time…LOL
