Moon Magic

“Last night I danced.
My body rose from its slump for the first time since the beginning of sorrows—my fingers beckoning to the stars at arm’s length, back arching as tingles bubbled up my spine, hips caught in a silent tempo while on tiptoe I twirled in endless euphoric circles. It didn’t matter that you loved me or that you didn’t. For I was wanted by the gods last night; their seraphs and muses descending on moonbeams into my midst, caressing my face and gliding their spirited arms about my waist, lifting my toes from the soil that I might feel what it is to fly without heaviness of heart. I danced with them under the glow of a loyal moon. For one brief, visceral dance I joyed as Heaven joys—in endless bliss.
And the universe cherished me.”

Another beautiful day at our retreat yesterday. We started off our day with some toning, and then some Chakra work. Ah, we are making progress. From this group of exhausted and emotionally fragile women, we are beginning to see sparks of energy and humour. There is laughter and sharing. Layers are falling away. Heaviness is shifting. Strength and resilience is emerging.

We paused in the middle of our work for some nap time, beach time, swim time and fun time.

And we finished last night with a Channelling Session, where the group talked with my favourite fairy, Sokli, and the incorrigible but endearing Rollo. Topics included attracting love, understanding our mothers, digestion and other health-based things, and the nature of passion and life purpose.

Sokli also shared some of her delicious wisdom for healing with the energies of nature, which concluded with a Women’s Moon Recipe for Serenity. To my delight a group of women rushed off to immediately put her recipe into action.

Here it is:

Carnelian and Rose Quartz crystals soaking in water in a glass bowl, surrounded by white flowers. Leave overnight in moonlight. (This can be done any time but on a New Moon.) Water can then be drunk. Nurtures and energises, and promotes a sense of calm and inner peace.

Moon recipeIf you can, spend some time in sunlight today, soaking up a little sparkle and vitality. And then breathe in night air and let the moon and stars and endless night sky caress you and nurture you with their restorative peace.

Thinking of you, and sending much love, ♥ Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
