Who’s Bad?

“I can learn to live with guilt. I don’t care about being good.”
~ Holly Black, Red Glove

“All his life he tried to be a good person. Many times, however, he failed.
For after all, he was only human. He wasn’t a dog.”
~ Charles M. Schulz

Someone has dug up my entire new vegetable garden.

At first I thought it might be bandicoots.

Or rabbits.

But…

Then I found bones, buried in the freshly turned soil.

And a boot, well planted.

Don’t be fooled by the ‘butter (or bacon!) wouldn’t melt in my mouth’ routine…

Don’t be taken in by those gorgeous brown puppy-dog eyes…

I think Harry did it!

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  2. Harry .. Harry …Harry.. You silly wabbit ! If boots grew …. there would be no need for shoe stores! You best give mom a great big wet sloppy doggy kiss, and perhaps all will be forgiven!

  3. Aaah Harry – you make me laugh. That was a good start to a Monday; thanks for your humorous antics Hugs all round for a good week ahead

  4. The nose is a dead giveaway! I can remember a mob of cattle getting into the garden years ago here when we had just seeded a new area of lawn, The hay we had left on the top to keep the moisture in was just too tempting. From memory,I was less than gracious when I first saw them! 🙂
