One of Those Non-Webby Days

“Floyd could imagine a dozen things that could go wrong; it was little consolation that it was always the thirteenth that actually happened.”
~ Arthur C. Clarke

Here at the farm we’re experiencing a technological glitch. Our usually reliable phone network, which also supports our internet, is grinding along at a pace slower than dial-up. We’re all paid up, everything is working as it should, and no-one can tell us what the fault might be. Calls aren’t working. Emails aren’t sending. Nothing is uploading or downloading.

Point in fact – two hours to load this tiny morning offering for you.

I’d love to be able to upload photos and a recipe for the slow-roasted lamb I cooked last night. Or the newborn calf with its sweet button nose and big floppy ears.

It would be marvellous to upload lots of words, and chat more with you, but no…

Today, we’re having a go-slow Sunday.

I’ll take the hint and declare it a day of rest. We’re off for a walk on the beach, a swim, and a coffee. Hopefully the problem will magically fix itself while we’re gone.

Much love, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
