Why you need to say YES to what you want!

“Love is a place
& through this place of
love move
(with brightness of peace)
all places

yes is a world
& in this world of yes live
(skillfully curled)
all worlds”
~ E.E. Cummings

Here’s a simple affirmation technique that can truly align you with abundance, and magnetise you to the things you desire to make manifest in your life.

Are you ready?

Say… YES. Yes to that thing you want.

Say it out loud. Say it with gusto. Say it with conviction. Say it often. Let it build up the positive energy and momentum in your life.

If it feels right, say a string of yeses, listing things you wish to experience more of in your life. Align yourself to your heart’s calling.

YES to love.

YES to health.

YES to a great new job.

YES to the debt paid off.

YES to the business success.

YES to passing that exam with flying colours.

YES! Yes to whatever lights you up. Yes to the outcome you desire. Yes to your greatest dreams and your smallest wishes. Yes, even if it scares you a bit. Yes, even if you don’t know how you’re going to make it happen.

The energy post-2012 is one of quickening. Thoughts can become things so much more easily. When we say yes we are welcoming that thing, we are inviting that thing, we are aligning with that thing.

Resistance melts away. The gap between our disbelief and our desire diminishes with every heartfelt yes. We become comfortable with this new possibility. We step closer to it. It draws closer to us. And then it appears in our lives.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Yes to what we want.

Try it. It’s easy, and it works.

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Nicole, just what I needed to hear. This post and your last one, was really needed. I am a broken empath, who used to do reflexology for a living. Well , that is what I called it. But I knew I did more than just reflexology. I used to read their pain, I took it for granted, now in hindsight I saw a bloody miracle, many in fact. But never wrote anything down, I have no proof. But I know it was real. Then When my friend died my life took a different path. From the go with the flow girl, lived life to its fullest, had everything I dreamt of. Until I stopped everything, my mind body and soul began to transform. My body went from a size 22 to an 8 in one day, I mean up and down in weight in one single day, I could not see my own face in the mirror, I saw other peoples faces. I was alone and had nobody to help, nor understand it. I thought I was going mad, I was truly considering a mental institute. I think I died too. I took up drinking and smoking and gave everything I owned away. It sounds like I gave up on life. Now, I do not drink, but still smoke, I feel the world too much, I do not have the angel feelings that I lived with all my life. Its like a drug addiction. My own feel changed. I took those feeling for granted. It has taken me 3 and a half years to accept my life as it is. I am still unemployed and do not feel good enough to go back into reflexology, hopelessness, and non confidence in myself has set in. May be it is because I do not need feet to tune in, but like you said in your last post. Empaths and psychics cannot turn it off. I totally agree. Do you believe I should be back doing spirit work, or should I go back into legal office work or normal work. I am thinking in Podiatry, because reflexology is just like massage here in Perth. I believe it is more of a medical thing. So I do not fit in to get the work I once love. Or do you think it was just to open me up because I was too impulsive and they wanted me to believe, as a catholic girl I once said I would believe it if I saw it. And low and behold I did, more than I bargained for. If you have any ideas on the employment path for me. I would be ever so grateful if you could help as I have been living with ordinary people and have not many to talk with on the same level.

Kindest Regards Love and Peace Angela

    1. Angela, if you were here in my little home right now I’d make you a cuppa, sit you down at my table, and tell you that what you need right now is a Pizza Hut job. A job you do to pay the bills and put food on the table while you heal and come back to centre, or as you transform into something else. Being a broken empath takes time to fix. Be gentle with yourself and take all the pressure off. Let being an empath take a backseat to living life and being human. The one you need to serve right now is yourself. Once you feel stronger and better in yourself then yes, use your gifts to help others. Reflexology is a wonderful tool. But when you’re psychic it informs everything you do. It doesn’t matter what job you do – you’ll be able to draw on your empathic and metaphysical abilities in helping others. So if podiatry lights you up, do that. If nothing lights you up right now see it as a sign that you still need more rest. Meditate, journal, and find some like-minded people to hang out with – even if it’s online. Much love to you, Nicole xx

  2. I find it easy to say yes to my girls and other people but really hard to say yes to the things I want, it is as if I don’t think I deserve a yes answer to myself and I am trying to change that but it isn’t easy
