Hello, Lovelies!

Well, here we are at November. Can you feel it? Can you feel the sweet energies of expansion and possibilities opening out in front of you? Can you feel the lift and the change in things yet?

November gives us a taste of the year to come. 2016 will be a year for getting things happening, and making concrete steps towards our goals and dreams. But more of that later…

Right now, this month, is about getting ourselves back into flow. About choosing the one thing that will make the difference in our day, in our week, our month, our year. It’s mostly about making small sustainable changes. But, for some, it’s also about those BIG things. Committing to a relationship. Ending something. Starting something. Working like crazy, in a relentless and slightly mad way on something we really care about. Being in that place where other things matter less, because one big thing matters more.

Don’t worry so much about balance this month. Instead put your energy to planning, action and passion.

You’ll be thrilled with the kinds of changes and progress you can make under the influence of November’s grace.

Card for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for November for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s The Enchanted Map. Remember that I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

OshoZen_13Transformation

“When she transformed into a butterfly, the caterpillars spoke not of her beauty, but of her weirdness. They wanted her to change back into what she always had been. But she had wings.”
~ Dean Jackson

Transformation is a reminder, from the Universe to your conscious mind. It wants you to remember and reconnect to all of the glorious possibilities and dreams that dwell within you.

Transformation is not automatic. It requires intention, and invested energy. It requires focus. But it doesn’t need to be a struggle. Transformation can be a gradual awakening to something beautiful and good. It can be about small changes leading to lasting results. It can be the one decision that sets your life on a new course. It can be a moment of clarity or inspiration which gets you unstuck at last.

Transformation brings energies of hope, encouragement and focus. It reminds you to stand up for yourself and your dreams. It tells you that your dreams matter, at least as much as everyone else’s. Maybe more.

November is about starting things. It’s about putting the Universe on notice that you are ready for change, and for growth. Make plans, dream a bit, think about what you don’t want. And more importantly, what you do want. Use the energies of November to start something meaningful to you, even if that start is research, or reading a book, or taking one small class, making a small change in your diet or the humblest of beginnings on your dream project. November also requires one other thing from you – consistency! It’s not enough to make that one little change today if everything you do tomorrow then undoes that tiny change.

November’s gift is the awareness that we are the creative genius, master and CEO of our own life. If it’s going to happen, it’s up to us. And that’s actually an exciting and empowering place to be. We can transform ourselves and our lives, one tiny thought or action at a time.

“May what I do flow from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

The second card, Ride The Wave, supports the message of Transformation.

Ride the Wave reminds you that when we find the things that light us up, and when we follow our hearts and our passion, all kinds of amazing synchronicities and miracles come our way. We’re never in this alone, and we’re always supported to follow our soul wisdom.

Ride the Wave is the promise of help – helpful friends or family, helpful teachers, helpful Universe as the thing you need (or never knew you needed!) turns up in a timely way. It’s also about discovering the many things we assumed would be hard, that in the doing of them turn out to be easy and just fine after all.

This month, embrace the things that put you into a good head space. Listen to music. Make art. Meditate. Make love. Go for long walks. Dance. Eat food that agrees with your body. Get enough sleep.

More importantly, STOP doing the things that make you feel bad. Shut the door on any crazymakers in your life. Respect your own time and your own needs. Simplify. Get into the habit of finishing what you start and getting a track record of completion and consistency.

November is a magical month. A month where we will find the energy and the resources for the callings of our heart. A month where we will experience that sense of a larger force at play in our lives, encouraging and guiding us forward.

Start where you are, with what you have. Gift yourself time for planning and for dreaming. Don’t be afraid of hard work or those crazy nights or weekends where you forget the world as you immerse yourself in your goals and dreams. Start gathering your toolkit, your team, your tribe, and anything else you’ll need for the journey to a new you, or a healthier you, or a happier you…

The Universe will match you step for step. And then some. So go forth with a song in your heart, and you’ll soon feel the wind beneath your wings.

Much love to you,

Nicole <3 xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Good Morning Nicole xx

WOW what a post, exactly what I required to remind me what is in my heart that I desire to create. The last week I feel I have lost my way. Questioning if what I am doing is enough for me. OR what is the point of it all. I have been in this place many times over the years and it has stopped me every time.

There is so much information in your post to keep me focused and on track. Heart filled love and gratitude for you and the gift you are.

  2. Ooh exciting ! and it’s my birthday month – although not for quite a while yet. Nevertheless lovely to have such an exciting month ahead. big hugs xxx

  3. Ah Nicole. A beautifully written post. I am really struggling to know what my future holds. I am loving blogging but only do it to keep my head above water. I love riding my bike but keep wondering whether the universe was telling me that I should not ride a bike anymore. I love studying but that has been put on hold too because I can’t concentrate for too long. I am a good Mum and I know that is a valuable role for me always. I meditate and love the calm it produces but I often have a very busy mind during the process. I am reading a lot. I know I want to help people to heal and live a wonderful life and to help people negotiate the end of life with dignity and peace. I have no idea what form this will take. I want a sign now about how this will all unfold but I don’t have the energy to have a busy November putting all my energy into my dream. At the moment I just have to put my energy into continuing to get well. The only thing I can hope is all the things I am doing quietly are going to help eventually to change people’s worlds for the better……
