Hello, Lovelies :)

December is here, and after the crazy ramped-up energies that were November things are shifting back to a slower gear!

December is a month for truly giving thought to who we are, where we’ve been, and where we want to go next.

After last month’s call to action, this month we’re being encouraged to find space and time for thinking, dreaming and planning. The energies of 2017 also begin to kick in around the 17th of December, and we’ll begin to feel an expansiveness and a sense of calm that’s been lacking all year.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for December for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“I love the dark hours of my being.
My mind deepens into them.
There I can find, as in old letters,
the days of my life, already lived,
and held like a legend, and understood.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

“Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be?”
~ Charles Bukowski

December brings the gifts of the Supermind.

This is the space we go into for deep reflection, learning and integration of those learnings so that we gain true wisdom. It’s a month of heightened emotional and psychic sensitivity, but from a place of being grounded and at peace in our hearts.

The quiet we find in our December meditations or walks in nature will help us to see our own courage and luminous beauty.

December allows us to radiate our own light into the world, from our hearts and our innermost truth. It’s an energy that helps us to give thanks for all we have experienced, and all we are becoming. It is also an energy of easily letting go of what no longer serves us, and of being able to embrace a braver vision for ourselves and this co-created life we are manifesting.

In December, even in the midst of busy-ness, we will benefit most by giving ourselves periods of true downtime, silence, rest and reflection.

“Well, if one’s going to daydream, one might as well make it a good one, don’t you suppose?”
~ Danielle Paige

The second card I’ve chosen is Imagine. December is a month where we can finally move into flow with dreaming and planning what comes next for us. It’s a month where possibilities, grand schemes and crazy ideas can begin to move from mere concepts to grounded realities.

Even if you’ve found it hard to imagine a bigger life or a better life for yourself prior to now, you’ll find that this month – suddenly – it all starts to become easier. You’ll begin to see that connecting feelings with the images in your heart and mind is the missing ingredient. As you dream your future, add emotions to that mind-movie and you’ll turbo-charge your ability to believe in and commit to your dreams. Glimmers of manifestation will begin to sparkle on your horizon almost immediately.

It’s a month for emotional luxury and kindness directed towards the self at least as much as you direct kindness outwards from yourself.

Struggle to evoke feelings of self-love and the belief that you are worthy of positive change and good things showing up in your life? Try this simple activity. At regular intervals during your day (set a timer if you need to!), stop and have a mindful minute. In this minute begin by thinking of someone who you love. Build that love energy in your heart and then spill that feeling of connection, love and gratitude into the life around you. If you are at your desk have a love and appreciation for all of the items on your desk. If you’re out in nature, feel that love connection to nature. Wherever you are – office, grocery store, childcare centre, home, stuck in traffic – radiate love and gratitude out into the world and feel your connection to all things.

When we feel connected, we sit in flow and everything is possible. It is when we are in disconnect in our lives and with the world around us that we will struggle to visualise and to choose goals and dreams for ourselves that will stretch us and grow us.

December is a magical month for dreaming of what can be. It’s also a time to connect to our innermost desires and heart’s purpose. Thinking of making a vision board? December is a great month for this!

Make time for dreaming and planning this month, no matter how crazy your festive season might be.

Best crystals this month?

Labradorite and Larimar.

Labradorite is the mystic’s stone, and is a powerful stone for self-discovery. This stone enhances all meditation and spiritual practice. It’s one of my all-time favourite crystals, and I use one daily in my own morning meditations.

Larimar is a stone of serenity and wisdom, which connects us to the oceans without and to the oceans within. It encourages self-reflection and honest communication. It’s also incredibly soothing for jangled nerves and raw emotions.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Sokli calls this her Calm and Centered Blend.  The essential oils you will find helpful in December are Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Rose and Frankincense. Ylang Ylang calms and centres us, helping us to live from our hearts. Jasmine provokes a more positive outlook and builds feelings of self-confidence, joy and recognition of our own inner beauty. Rose removes emotional blocks and limitations to success and opens our heart to receiving. (If you don’t have Rose and Jasmine, substitute Bergamot.) Frankincense allows us to be divinely connected and in spiritual flow. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser.  Young Living’s Clarity Blend will also work beautifully this month. You can find the oils here.

December is a month for taking time for ourselves – so we can dream a little, plan a little, and reconnect with what matters most to us. It’s a powerful month for getting clear about where we’re headed in 2017.

Let this month be about you and your dreams! That’s the best Christmas gift you could possibly give yourself.

Sending all my love to you, Nicole ♥ xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
