Happy New Year!
January is not just a new month, it’s the beginning of a whole new energetic cycle. It’s a month that brings a sense of freshness and adventure. It’s a month that beckons you to reinvent yourself and your world.
Cards for the Month:
I’ve chosen two cards for January for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

January brings the gift of a spirit of adventure. It’s time to see yourself and your life with fresh eyes. This month be prepared to have a little fun and to shake things up a little. If I was to choose a word to define January I would choose the word NEW.
Look closely at your habits and routines. Are they serving you, or are you stuck in a bit of a rut? January encourages you to break out of stuckness and to think in new ways about yourself and your possibilities for the year ahead. It reminds you that enjoying the journey of life is important.
This is a fantastic month for planning any travel, events or adventures for later in the year or even for next year. It’s a month to sign up for trying something new. Get out and about, even if that is just trying a new café, or shopping somewhere new.
It’s a month for committing to changes, and beginning to make transformation happen. A great month for signing up to new courses, new programs, new ventures.
It’s a month for magical synchronicities, breakthroughs and divine inspiration.

The second card I’ve chosen is Never-Ending Story. The picture captures so well the soul-weariness of that space we sometimes find ourselves in, where we keep perpetuating an old story, and telling it over and over so that we stay trapped in that story, and it becomes or remains our truth.
This month look for areas where you tell a story about yourself or your life that doesn’t serve you. Stories that keep you stuck, ill, broke, lonely, powerless, sad, a doormat, small.
Be brave enough to tell a new story.
Be brave enough to use your imagination to create a story better suited to the life you desire for yourself.
It’s also an important message about priorities. Life is short, and there is never enough time to do, be and have everything on our lists.
So, in January 2017, give thought to the big priorities for your life this year – the ones that mean the most to you. Then give time to them, and let everything else fall away. Value your time, value your dreams, value your right to self-determination.
