The Energies of March – 2017

“Everything must be made as simple as possible. But not simpler.”
~ Albert Einstein

“Systems and processes will always surpass motivation.”
~ Chris Matakas

Hello, Lovelies :)

Suddenly, here we are at March. It’s a pivotal month, because this is the month where we begin to realise that no matter how motivated we are, if we have to get up and reinvent the wheel every single day, eventually we will sink under the weight of overwhelm.

March is a month where we need to strip back our expectations and identify what truly matters. Then it’s simply about doing more of what matters, and less of what doesn’t!

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for March for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.”
~ Margaret Atwood

March is a month about practicalities. After our planning and our kick-start into action, March is where things get serious in regards to growth and sustainability. The energy of March is all about systems, structure, organisation and control. What are the areas of your life that give you grief or hold you back? How can you bring order and flow to them again?Or do you need to step away and start over?

We are encouraged to look at the areas where we are out of control in our lives. Not just to notice it, but to actually take steps to get things back into flow. March energy celebrates tidying up, clearing clutter, streamlining, and making things simple. In March we need to get things sorted out and keep it real.

We are encouraged to put energy into creating systems and support for ourselves. What is working well? Do more of that! Do more of what you enjoy, do more of what makes money, do more of what sustains health and relationships. But put it into a simple system or routine. There is no point in reinventing the wheel every month. It’s crazy to be doing everything ourselves.

Suffer from depression or anxiety? Routine and structure is proven to help with the management of these conditions. Why not give it a try in March?

The second card I’ve chosen is To Be Fair. The picture captures so well the wisdom in creating a life for ourselves that is balanced and that honours our inner wisdom and intuition.

“Your hand opens and closes, opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralysed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birds’ wings.”
~ Jalaluddin Rumi

In March we realise that it is no use being fair to others if it puts us at a personal disadvantage. We must be on an equal footing with everyone else, and so must our hopes and dreams.

It is also a calming factor in our lives when we are able to create structure and routine. We relax more, our time frees up, and our anxiety decreases.

We also realise in March that we have choices. If we choose one thing we cannot necessarily have the other thing as well.

We see that we must choose widely, and with our own well-being and our own dreams at heart.

Best crystals this month?

Sodalite and Tourmalinated Quartz

Sodalite  is known as both the truth stone and the poet’s stone. It aids all forms of communication and supports a personal vision which is aligned with your values.

Tourmalinated Quartz is a clear quartz stone with small rods of black tourmaline within it. This helps with grounded and realistic plans – even when your vision for yourself is BIG, and it is a magical remedy for busting through negativity and limited thinking.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. The essential oils you will find helpful in March are Rosemary, Lemon, Peppermint and Lavender. Rosemary helps us to make good decisions and to problem-solve, Lemon is uplifting and inspires positive thoughts, Peppermint is calming but invigorating – especially when we are tired, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. Young Living’s Clarity Blend is also sensational for focus, clear thinking and confidence. I often use it when I am planning or working on my business. You can find the oils here.

Holding you in my thoughts, prayers and meditations.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo
