Honouring Our Complexity – Monday Oracle 31 July 2017

Hello, Lovelies,

As July merges into August we move from a month of deeper understanding of self and our place in the world to an emerging energy of creativity, emotional healing and an abiding need for more balance in our lives. (Stay tuned for my August forecast tomorrow!)

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Growth’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

Let’s look at the gifts Growth brings us this week.

Do you ever feel like you are more than one person living in the same skin? We are multi-faceted humans, and there will never be a simple way to describe the depth and complexity of our nature and desires. This week we are encouraged to own and celebrate all of these different aspects of ourselves.

When we get busy we often distill our lives down to a very few actions and choices. Before we know it our lives have become limited, routine, dull and very unfulfilling.

This week’s energies support breaking those dull routines. If you always shop at the supermarket try the Farmers’ Markets.  Make a different choice of cafe, and a different choice of meal. Read a book or watch a movie that is outside your usual picks. Go to bed earlier or stay up later. Mix it up with your clothing choices. Go on a date or stay home instead of going out! This is also a super week for planning future events that get you outside the ordinary – think holidays, road trips or learning something new.

Finally it’s a week where we can be honest with ourselves about what’s working and what isn’t in our lives. It’s a chance to let go of old ways. Sometimes we define ourselves as much by what we leave behind as what we bring into our orbit and make our own. It’s also a week for embracing new directions and possibilities, as well as welcoming back those parts of ourselves that haven’t had much airplay lately.

Supportive crystals this week?

Nephrite Jade (including New Zealand Greenstone) helps us to honour own own direction and to live from our soul truth.  Blue Obsidian gives us mental clarity and self-awareness, strengthening our ability to communicate and connect. Carnelian helps us move out of burnout and back to a place of creativity and flow. Citrine helps us to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that we see the blessings and possibilities in our life.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Lavender, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Orange. Believe essential oil blend is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself. It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser again this week. You can find all the oils here.
