The Energies of February – 2018

“Oh, it’s delightful to have ambitions. I’m so glad I have such a lot. And there never seems to be any end to them– that’s the best of it. Just as soon as you attain to one ambition you see another one glittering higher up still. It does make life so interesting.”
~  L.M. MontgomeryAnne of Green Gables

Hello, Lovelies :)

In February we begin to build on the strength and intuitive connection we found for ourselves at the beginning of the year. We begin to find a clear direction forward. February brings opportunities for planning, learning and growing in order to bring about positive change.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for February for you: one from Colette Baron-Reid’s The Enchanted Map and one from Steven Farmer’s Earth Magic Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.”
~ Bob Proctor

February is a month for inviting change, for making long-range plans and big decisions that will bring us closer into alignment with our authentic selves and soul needs.

Create some space this month for working with your Oracle cards and planner, for family or work meetings, and for allowing everyone’s voices to be heard.

This month invites you to find other people to guide you as you plan and instigate change. Maybe you can find a coach or a mentor, or a supportive group to join (emphasis on supportive – no whiny negative groups, because that’s self-defeating, you want a group that feels comfortable, supportive and empowering).

Maybe it’s you with support to offer others. If so, go launch that program or put that offering out into the world.

The second card I’ve chosen is CLOUDS. It’s primary message is the importance of dreaming a brighter future for ourselves, and for believing in our possibilities.

Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.”
~ Albert Einstein

February is a terrific month for all kinds of dreaming and imagining new possibilities for ourselves and our future.

It’s also a great time for learning from history – our own or from the world before our life this time around, and for anything to do with family, especially for connecting with the stories of your elders and ancestors.

If you are an elder in your own family think about how you can share stories and skills with the younger generation. Do you have a family favourite recipe to share, or an important story about a family member or heirloom?

As you connect into this wisdom and guidance you’ll continue to develop clarity and confidence in yourself, who you are, what you believe, and what matters to you.

Don’t forget Earth Wisdom this month. Let nature be a teacher and guide for you too.

Can you spend some time honouring your body with exercise and healthy natural food? Can you work on getting enough rest and downtime? And can you spend some time in nature?

Best crystals this month?

Banded Agate and Sunstone

Banded Agate creates a sense of safety, peace and belonging. It also helps to anchor change.

Sunstone helps us to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that we see the blessings and possibilities in our life.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Young Living’s Clarity and Envision blends are my choices for February. Clarity is a blend that includes peppermint, basil and rosemary. I love this oil for helping me to learn new things, and for focus, problem solving and being open to new ideas. It helps me bust through mental fatigue and stay fresh and engaged with my work. Envision is an oil blend I often use in my workshops and retreats to help my students connect to inner wisdom and intuition. It helps us to see a greater possibility for ourselves. Use Envision for spiritual connection, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, over your heart, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they’ll also make a great combination for diffusing. Grapefruit is uplifting, busts stress and helps us overcome self-doubt. Ylang Ylang restores confidence in ourselves and our decisions and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, Rosemary improves memory, promotes emotional balance and diffuses stress, and Cardamon helps link our left and right brain, bringing balance and calm.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Wishing you a love-filled, satisfying and wonder-full February.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.

  1. Exciting prospects!

I just read about the secret dreams project you did a couple of years ago. Now I wonder, will you ever relaunch it? I think that was a lovely idea.

All my best wishes for you, Ben and the amazing dogs!
