Hello, Lovelies!

From my heart to you I just wanted to give you the biggest hug, and to thank you for all of your birthday wishes and greetings.

There are too many for me to respond personally. I was overwhelmed by the avalanche of love and beautiful messages! So I wanted to thank you here, and give you a birthday update.

Ben and I had a fabulous few days away, celebrating life after a year that has been especially trying. There is something so restorative about time away from your normal routines and about being able to focus on each other and yourself rather than on the needs of everyone around you.

I ate plenty of cake! I visited lots of interesting places, and I hung out with some of my favourite people.

We spent lots of magical time together.

I ignored work for a few days and just spent time relaxing and being social.

Interspersed with an excessive amount of naps!

And now I’m home, rested and loved up, and ready for a year of wonders!
