Hello, Lovelies.

It’s funny (or not) how nature has lessons for us, if only we pay attention.

Last year, here in Australia, we experienced terrible drought here at the farm. Our dams ran dry, the river and creek turned into stagnant pools, and trees died for lack of water.

Then came the bushfires. It was bleak and catastrophic.

My vegetable gardens all died. So much of my garden died, and I wondered if things could ever be the same again.

And then it rained.

The dam is half-full now. The water tanks are full. There is green grass in the paddocks and enough water that I have replanted my vegetable gardens.

I walked past our wood shed yesterday and saw that a passionfruit vine I was sure had died in the drought is in flower and already bearing fruit. Such resilience. I felt like it was a lesson in survival which the Universe was reminding me about, given the current world circumstances. As Coronavirus has changed our world the recent droughts and bushfires seem a lifetime ago.

So the message of this passionfruit is more important than ever. Everything passes. Seasons come and go. What we are facing now may change us, but eventually it too shall pass.

Good seasons will come again. Threats will reduce. Life will go on.

No matter what is happening for you now, it won’t stay like this forever. Reach into yourself and you will find that same resilience. We never know it’s there until we are tested.
