One of the things I have always loved to do is to put my crystals out under the sky to absorb energy from the celestial bodies above, as well as the grounded, cleansing and empowering energy of the earth.
Right now, with the approaching Full Moon Supermoon Lunar Eclipse of May 26, it is a perfect time to put out your crystals to be charged. All you need to do is place your crystals outside overnight on the earth, or on a bed of sand or rice, on a wooden tray or a wooden bench or table, or on stone or concrete where they are under the open sky, or by a window where moonlight will fall upon them.
The combination of moonlight and celestial energies will cleanse your stones of old energies, and fill them with high vibrations and positive energies, ready to be used again.
The energies of the Total Lunar Eclipse (blood moon) in Sagittarius will amplify positive qualities of shift and change. You’ll be able to get clarity about what to keep and what to let go, and it’s also a time of great breakthroughs and clarity.
Embrace the beautiful energy that is coming via the Eclipse. We have chosen this lifetime for ourselves, and it is no accident that we are here right now to heal and to grow, and to help and contribute using our talents, gifts and passion. I put all my crystals out thinking it was the right thing to do. I just went with it. Before bed I had a feeling to let go of all my ‘issues’ raised my hands to the sky and let all my issues go from my chest. Now I’m reading so many stories last night wasn’t the right time to put crystals out. Am I wrong here?
Hi Steph, there is always fear and anxiety around eclipse energy. Each eclipse has its own energy and the one we have just experienced had grounded, stable and very positive energies – I love that you trusted your intuition AND that you spontaneously ‘let go’ of your issues because that’s what the eclipse energies were all about. Trust yourself, and know that it’s all okay!
Sorry but I would never put my crystals out during an eclipse since eclipses bring erratic energy. It doesn’t bring a full peaceful charge to my crystals but a feeling of off-energy. Been there done that, No thanks!
Jeanie, some eclipses certainly do create erratic energy. I am very selective about which eclipses and astronomical events I use for my crystal rituals. This particular eclipse is actually stabilizing and grounding, helping us come back into our power and discernment. It works with the Solar Plexus Charkra to firm up our identify, and for stones, it amplifies their own personal energies so that they can serve you better. I hope that helps explain why I am advocating these actions. But I also recommend to trust your own inner guidance too. Nx
Hi Nicole, what happens to crystals when they are just sitting in a box. My sons 14 & 17 use to love crystals and was given MANY. Now they are uncool and are just sitting in a box in their cupboards. Is it fine for this. I am hoping one day they will get them out again or give them to their children. It would take a long time to put them all under the moon but if you tell me I should, I will.
