Anxious? Over it? It’s Time For Gratitude. Monday Oracle 29 November 2021

Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.

Hello, Lovelies!

This Quarter I am using the Nature’s Whispers Oracle Cards by Angela Hartfield, with artwork by Josephine Wall, for my weekly oracle readings.

Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 46 – GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION. It reminds is that gratitude and appreciation won’t always solve our problems, but using these energies helps us to feel better about ourselves, better about our lives, and these practices open our hearts, and help us to live from the best part of ourselves.

GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION brings a message of hope and encouragement for week ahead.

Let’s be honest. Life can be difficult. It can be a roller coaster. I know. Life’s stressful right now. Maybe you are worried about the state of the world. Maybe you’re frustrated with everyone around you who doesn’t see things your way. Maybe you have too much on your plate. Maybe things are falling apart. Maybe you’re falling apart. Maybe you just need a holiday. Maybe you just wish things would get back to normal.

The practice of Gratitude reminds us to keep bringing our heart back to what matters most. Not just in the good times, but the bad times too. Gratitude isn’t about having a positive attitude. It’s about finding the things that can comfort or warm us, despite what else might be happening in our lives. It’s about FEELING thankful.

Appreciation is the practice of EXPRESSING your gratitude.

So, what are you thankful for right now?

How can you show appreciation in your life, in a way that will encourage, support, acknowledge or uplift yourself or someone else? (Yes, it’s important to appreciate yourself too.

Counting your Blessings and searching out things to be grateful for helps shift your energy to a more heart-based and compassionate space, and gee the world could use more of that right now.

My Top Tip For The Week Ahead:

There are miracles, beauty, inspiration and insight in every moment if only we can slow down enough to appreciate them. Slow down. What can you notice that you weren’t seeing before? What do you take for granted? Whatever we focus on multiplies, so we might as well focus on the good stuff. Notice the good stuff. Take time for the good stuff.

Stuck with knowing what makes you happy, or what to do next? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here

December is almost here, and I am hurtling towards the end of NaNoWriMo. I have managed to be at my desk before 5am all but two days of this month, and so far my word count for the book I didn’t know I was going to write is 45 789, so I feel confident I will be able to hit 50 000 before December 1. It has been an absolute joy to write, and although I have no idea where the story is going I keep showing up, so I guess the story will tell me what it needs to be. Not my usual style, but I’m going with it.

This week Ben and I are going to put up the Christmas Tree, and I’ve finally decided what will be on the menu for Christmas Day – our first in the treehouse! So, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

I’m already excited for 2022, which is just around the corner now, and I’m itching to start my new Planner. At the same time, I feel sad to be coming to the end of this year’s Planner, which has been a true friend to me in such changing and uncertain time.

Have you got your Planner for next year yet? Grab one now, so you’ll be ready for my next free challenge to help you get your year off to a strong start. You can find it here:

You can buy The Journeymaker’s Planner 2022 Hard Copy at Amazon USA or ETSY.

The digital version of The Journeymaker’s Planner 2022 is available at ETSY.

It makes a great gift too, and if you order from ETSY it comes gift-wrapped (by me, of course!)

Have a beautiful week.

I’m grateful for you, and so glad you are part of my community and my life.

Big hugs, love and appreciation, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
