Why are you so awkward about your Spiritual Practice?

The things that matter stay with you, seep into your skin.
~Christina Baker Kline

Hey, Lovelies.

I want to have a quiet chat with you today.

I want to reassure you.

Your spiritual practice matters.

I know, you feel self-conscious about it at times. You can feel awkward and unsure, and a bit silly. Embarrassed maybe, or worried you’ll be caught out or judged. It might seem as though everyone is watching you, even when you’re alone, as you meditate or pull cards, or make an altar or a crystal grid, use your singing bowl or your drum, or do some energy work or a ritual. You might doubt yourself as you journal, or bring through messages for yourself, or connect with your Guides. You might feel like you’re faking it all.

At times, you wonder if any of it matters. If you’re a bit crazy or unhinged. If you’re just wasting time.

It matters. You’re normal. This is a valuable investment in yourself.

This kind of personal spiritual journey, this reclaiming of your intuition and your natural mysticism, is part of your birthright. As you keep showing up, and doing the work, you will find that you change and grow, and during this process of evolution you will slowly transform into someone who is confident in themselves and their practices and how they support you in your life. These things have meaning, and that meaning shapes your life in ways you can’t see yet, but it all matters.

If you’re drawn to walk this way in the world, embrace it. Trust yourself. You are choosing this for a reason.

And remember, you don’t walk alone. There are so many other quiet souls journeying with you.

Take comfort in that.
Then keep on going!
Love, and hugs of reassurance, Nicole xx

Hi! I'm Nicole Cody. I am a writer, psychic, metaphysical teacher and organic farmer. I love to read, cook, walk on the beach, dance in the rain and grow things. Sometimes, to entertain my cows, I dance in my gumboots. Gumboot dancing is very under-rated.
