Intuitive Oracle Card Reading Challenge – Day 3

“Wellness encompasses a healthy body, a sound mind and a tranquil spirit. Enjoy the journey as you strive for wellness.”
~
Laurette Gagnon Beaulieu

Over the next few days we’re looking at the things we’ve forgotten or are neglecting that could bring meaning, wellness or peace back into our lives.

Remember that using cards is a way to access your intuition and inner knowing. If a card comes up that looks negative or upsetting, consider that this may be a situation which can now be healed, a pattern to be broken, or an issue that is coming to an end. Universal Guidance and our own intuition always and only speak from love. Trust that all messages will have a positive and useful insight to help you learn, heal or transcend.

Each day’s Challenge will take the same format:

  1. Mini-meditation with your crystal
  2. Card of the Day
  3. Question of the Day Three card spread (optional)
  4. Self-Care action

Mini Meditation with your Crystal

Take your crystal, and complete this short guided meditation:

Hold your stone in your cupped hands, close your eyes, and slow your breathing. Bring white light into your body until you feel peaceful and calm. Then bring white light into the crystal too. Allow yourself to connect to the stone. You may feel it tingle, or you may experience colour, images or guiding thoughts. When you are ready, open your eyes.

Keep your stone near you, and hold it when you write. If any insights have already emerged take a moment to write them down!

Card of the Day – What Have I forgotten or neglected that could help me with my relationship with myself right now?

Your body knows, your soul knows, but sometimes the mind forgets! Today’s card will help you to tune in to something important that can support your health and wellbeing in the days ahead.

Now shuffle your cards, while silently asking the question to yourself  ‘What Have I forgotten or neglected that could help me with my relationship with myself right now?’

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select just one card. Place the card face up in front of you. Clear your mind by closing your eyes and taking one deep breath in and then out. Open your eyes again. Take a minute and look at the picture on the oracle or tarot card. What stands out for you? Is it an image or a colour? Is it a number or a word? What are your first impressions? Write these down in your journal.

Now let’s go a little deeper. What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘What Have I forgotten or neglected that could help me with my relationship with myself right now?’ Take two minutes and just write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process. Finally, read back over what you have written.

Expect that more insights may come up for you during the day. Write anything important down in your journal so that you can continue to reflect upon it.

Question of The Day Three Card Spread (optional activity, if you have the time and inclination)

Now we have an idea of what we have been neglecting or have forgotten that can help us with our relationship with ourself it’s useful to understand what has led us to be in this starting position. What is the background to this current situation in our life?

Return your Daily Card to the pack and shuffle the cards, asking the question ‘How Did I Get Here?’  Choose three cards and lay them face down in front of you.

The card on the left is The Issue. The card in the middle is your Helpful Action. The card on the right is The Learning.

1.     Turn the first card over and let it give you insights into the issues/choices/actions that led to you being where you are now.

2.     Turn the second card over. This card shows you the way forward. Let it show you what you can do, what choices you can make, actions you can take, to get you moving forward in a positive and aligned way to bring healing or progress or change.

3.     Turn the third card over. This card will help you gain insights into how to avoid a repeat of a problem, how to break patterns or change your thoughts around this situation, or which things to keep doing so that your life works better for you in the future based on the current situation.

Write notes in your journal if this is helpful.

Self-Care Action

Based on the insights you’ve received from today’s cards, what small action can you take today to look after yourself well and to show yourself nurture and kindness? Write that down in your journal and make sure to action it!

Sending you love, and my intention that these insights from the Oracle Card Challenge illuminate your life in positive ways,

Nicole ❤ xx

Intuitive Oracle Card Reading Challenge – Day 2

“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.” ~Wayne W. Dyer

It’s easy to get caught up in the busy-ness of life, and to unconsciously move away from the things that keep us balanced, healthy and happy. Over the next few days we look at the things we’ve forgotten or are neglecting that could bring meaning, wellness or peace back into our lives.

Some of you will remember that last year we ran a month-long challenge called #GeSHiDoMo. It was such a success that we’re doing it again! Join Our Thirty-Day Challenge Here!

Intuitive Oracle Card Reading Challenge – Day 1

“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”
~
Kahlil Gibran

Good Morning, and welcome to our Oracle Card Challenge. This Challenge is designed to help you connect into who you are, what you need and what is the best way forward for you.

Today we place ourselves on the map of our heart. We work out exactly where our starting position is with our very first card. When we know where we are starting from it makes it much easier to work out where we are going, and what needs to be done to get us moving in a direction that is better aligned with our Highest Good.

Card of the Day – Choosing your Positioning Card

In order to chart a course to anywhere else, we first need to establish our current position. So today’s card will help you to do just that.

Now shuffle your cards, while silently asking the question to yourself ‘Where am I in my life right now?’

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select just one card. How you choose that card is up to you. You can split the deck. You could take the top or bottom card. You could fan the cards out and take one from the array.

What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘Where am I in my life right now?’ Take two minutes and just write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process. Finally, read back over what you have written. Expect that more insights may come up for you during the day. Write anything important down in your journal so that you can continue to reflect upon it.

*PS – I often take a photo of my cards on my phone, so that I can refer back to them later!

Question of The Day Three Card Spread (optional activity, if you have the time and inclination)

Now we have a Positioning Card it’s useful to understand what has led us to be in this starting position. What is the background to our current situation in life?

Return your Positioning Card to the pack and shuffle the cards, asking the question ‘How Did I Get Here?’  Choose three cards and lay them face down in front of you.

Welcome to Our Free Online Oracle Card Intuitive Guidance Challenge

“To me, a witch is a woman that is capable of letting her intuition take hold of her actions, that communes with her environment, that isn’t afraid of facing challenges.”
~
Paulo Coelho

Today’s post is designed to help familiarise you with some basic techniques you’ll need for our  Oracle Card Challenge, which is starting tomorrow.

Oracle or Tarot cards are a a tool to help tune you in to your own intuition and inner knowing. We’re going to work with them in ways that expand our own inner knowing and connection.

It is possible that you may choose the same card more than once over the course of this challenge. Each time you choose a card, treat it as a whole new message. You may find yourself having several interpretations from just one card over time, depending on the questions you have asked.

Choosing your Deck

Choose a deck of Oracle or Tarot cards based solely upon the pictures. Avoid Tarot decks that have pictures of coins or swords are cups as the primary image for a card. Choose your deck based upon the images and their ability to tell a story for you.

Current favourite decks of mine include Osho Zen Tarot, Colette Baron Reid’s oracle decks such as Enchanted Map and Wisdom of the Oracle, the Mythic Tarot and Tao Oracle Cards.

If you don’t have a deck you can use one of Colette Baron Reid’s online ones here.

Preparing the Deck

If the cards are new, shuffle through the cards taking a moment to look at and connect to each one.

Now shuffle the cards back together, or give the cards a shuffle if they are an existing deck.

Hold them between your two hands and visualise white light running into the cards. Offer up a small prayer or intention that these cards work with you for your Highest Good.

Now your cards are ready to go!

Choosing your Crystal or Stone

If you are working with the Year of ME Planner, use the stone you chose as your 2018 crystal.

Otherwise, choose a crystal or stone (it can even be from the garden or the beach) that appeals to you and that feels good in your hand.

Go HERE  to do a short meditation to connect you in to your stone.

Your Other Materials

You will also need a journal or some paper. You’re welcome to use the notes pages in your YOM (Year of ME Planner) too. At a minimum you’ll need a pen to write with, but feel free to have some different coloured pens, highlighters or pencils at your disposal to help make the information come alive in your journal.

Format for the Challenge

Each day you’ll need five to ten minutes. It’s a challenge you can do in your coffee break! You’ll use your crystal and do a short guided meditation, and then follow the instructions on the blog post to choose and interpret your card for the day.

Okay, now you have everything you need to begin. See you tomorrow for Day One of our Challenge.

Much love, Nicole ❤  xx

The Power of Mentors – Your Path To Success

Mentorship is simply learning from the mistakes and mastery of a successful person in his/her field. – Bernard Kelvin Clive

We all learn by modelling ourselves on others.  As babies we mimic our parents, copying everything they do until we learn to do those things for ourselves; facial expressions, gestures, words, movements…  The fastest way to have success in anything is always to find someone who is already doing that thing, and then copy what they do, or even better – engage with them and have them show you, or help you.

A mentor is someone who has walked the path before you, learned from their mistakes and become successful in their field. What makes them valuable to you is that THEY know how to do what you want to do because they’ve done it already. I have found business mentors, writing mentors (Hi, Doctor Kim!), money mentors and organic farming mentors to name a few. Sometimes my relationship with these people has been a tangible thing, and sometimes I’ve just watched what they’ve done or read their book – and copied what they did to become successful in their field.

I also work as a spiritual mentor with people who want to develop their metaphysical and psychic abilities. That’s a road I know very well.

It’s never too late to change or improve ourselves.  Today we’re going to use journalling to help us identify who we want to be, and who can help us achieve those dreams. Why not make yourself a nice cup of tea, or take yourself out to a coffee shop. With a beverage at your elbow, and a notebook and pen in hand, work through the following activity. You might surprise yourself at what you discover.

Journal Exercise:

Start by writing this passage at the top of your page.

Dear Universe,

I trust that there is a Universal Wisdom which recognises my gifts and talents, that understands what outcomes and adventures are best for my Highest good, and that matches me to mentors best suited to helping me achieve my dreams.

I trust that there is someone out there who knows exactly what I need to do next.

I am ready to embrace the possibility of a better life for myself. I am ready to move from struggle into flow.  I am ready to embrace abundance, in all its forms. I want you to know that I’m ready for whatever wonderful experiences and opportunities you send my way. I am ready to embrace change, and I am ready to embrace success. Thank you for the mentors I now attract into my life.

Now think of an area in your life where you would like to have success.  Don’t judge what comes next, and don’t over-think it.  Just trust that what you write will begin to create a greater sense of personal and spiritual awareness in your life.

Create a list of people who are leaders in this field, and that you can look up to. (if you don’t know who they are, then do a little research!)

Choose one of the people on your list and spend some time writing about WHY you admire this person, and what they do or have done that you would like to have more of in your own life.  Really allow yourself to explore this in detail, making the emotions you feel as you write this strong and real.

When you have finished, write about how you want YOUR life to look as you walk this same path.  Write down the outcomes you want for yourself, and how this will positively change your future, and the world around you.

Do this over a couple of days, using different mentors from your list each day. Trust that as you build this connection through writing, the perfect teachers, courses, resources, mentors and support will begin to show up in your life.

NB: If you feel that you are walking a path of spiritual awakening right now, and you’d like to explore that further, I suggest you do this exercise while holding one of the following crystals:

  • Clear Quartz – for connecting with Guides and Higher Wisdom
  • Fluorite – for understanding your creative path, and for clear guidance with writing
  • Sodalite – for answers about relationships and knowing your own truth
  • Amethyst – for connecting into your spiritual gifts
  • Rhyolite – for channelled wisdoms – showing you that inner truth you find difficult to access on your own

One more thing…

You know more than you think you do.  How can you mentor others? Where can you reach out to people to share what you know, so that others can learn from YOUR experiences and mistakes?

Learning is love – so let’s spread the love around.  Helping others achieve their dreams always moves us closer to our own. ♥

Soul Awakening Activities for The New Moon Partial Eclipse in Leo

“If you chase anything in life chase the things that get you excited about living. Chase the things that give you hope, happiness and a glimpse of a better life. Chase the things that make you want to be a better person. Chase the things that inspire you to think, create and live joyfully. Chase the things that reinforce in your soul that you can make a difference. Chase the things that make you want to transform your heart from selfish to selfless. When you chase that kind of storm you are chasing rainbows.”
Shannon L. Alder

I’m on retreat right now, here in beautiful Byron Bay with my Accelerated Channelling and Sacred Geometry group. I always time my retreats so that the participants will be supported by the surrounding astrological energies, and this retreat is spectacular for personal transformation and psychic connection.

Would you like to learn how you can harness these same energies to progress your spiritual path at home?

We’ll be working with the energies of this New Moon and the Partial Solar Eclipse today, and I thought you might like to use this time to go deeper with your own spiritual work.

The partial Solar Eclipse today (Saturday) boosts the energies of the New Moon in Leo, and heralds new beginnings and major shifts for us, both personally and spiritually. It coincides with the yearly period known as the Lion’s Gate – a portal which opens on the 8th of August every year – an 8:8 event – and which continues until August 12. During the Lion’s Gate portal it is possible to greatly raise your own vibration, and elevate the consciousness of humanity.

It’s a great time to get clarity around your life direction, and for finding answers to questions and problems that have kept you stuck up until now. This eclipse also falls on an 11 day on an 11 year (2018 adds up to 11) which creates what is known as an 11:11 Gateway. This is a time where many will receive a spiritual calling, or where events will come together to help you to achieve profound emotional healing.

Here are some simple activities you can do in the next few days to enhance your intuitive connection and psychic ability, and to clarify your life direction:

Who Am I?

This activity opens you to your own soul wisdom as well as Universal wisdom. It can help to show you who you are now, and who you have the potential of becoming. Don’t judge anything that comes to you. Write it all down!

Directions: Sit comfortably with your hands in the Anjali Mudra (prayer position) so that your hands are in front of your heart and your eyes are gazing straight ahead. You can close your eyes if you want. (Note: If you also want to work with a crystal for this meditation hold the stone in your cupped hands first, energise it with light, the place it on your lap or on the ground in front of you or under your chair – then sit in the prayer position) Breathe deeply, relax your body and then ask Who Am I? Wait for any words, images or impressions to appear. Then open your eyes and begin to answer this question in your journal. You might want to do this a few times in the next few days, as each time you do this you will be able to go deeper and into more detail.

Using Cards for Clarification:

Choose an oracle or tarot deck that is meaningful to you. Shuffle the cards and then choose three, placing them face down in front of you. Once again sit in Anjali Mudra (prayer position), calm your mind and ask Who am I? When you are ready open your eyes and begin to work with the cards.

Image by Mysterious Lass at deviantart.com

Turn over the first card – This shows you who you have been, in the past for this current life, or perhaps even from previous lives. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Turn over the second card – This shows you who you are right now, including strengths and limitations. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Turn over the third card – This shows you who you can become, or what you can rise above for this current life. Write down what comes to you in your journal.

Reflection Exercise for Life Clarity: Leave the journal for a while. An hour perhaps, or longer. Whatever feels right to you. Then come back and read what you have written. Look for the words that resonate, and for anything that provides inspiration or direction.

Now write again, this time listing your intentions for this lifetime. Who do you want to be? What do you want to contribute, create, have or experience? How will you do this? Trust that whatever is in your heart is possible!

Enjoy this time of connection and reflection. You’re in our hearts, prayers and meditations, and we wish you well.
Much love, Nicole ❤ xx

Choose Your Perspective And Get Happier!

We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorns have roses.”
~ Alphonse Karr

Someone commented recently on how lucky I was to have such an awesome life, and that having my life would make anyone happy. This was a person who had only just met me, and knew nothing of my chronic illness or any of the other complexities of my life. I tend to agree that I have an awesome life, despite some of my current circumstances. But I have also come to know that happiness is a choice.

The fact is that I AM happy most of the time, and more and more my life is beginning to be shaped in pleasing ways. But there are still many things in my life that are challenging, and sometimes downright devastating, be it my own health issues, deaths of friends, family or livestock and family illness and decline. None of us are immune to pain and suffering and I certainly have my share.

I came to a realisation years ago that I could either focus on the good things or focus on the bad. Focusing on the good helps you to feel better. Feeling better helps you climb out of the hole. When you feel good you are magnetic to more good. When you feel bad and ooze that vibration of misery and gloom, more of that stuff seems to come your way.

So, understanding that happiness is a choice, a discipline as much as a philosophy, has helped me to heal, to heal relationships, and to attract more love and friendship into my life. I’m not saying it’s easy to choose happiness, but it’s ALWAYS better than the alternative.

Activity:

Make a little time for some self-reflection. Take your journal, and over the next few weeks carefully and honestly answer the following questions?

  • Who supports me in my life?
  • What have I always been good at?
  • What activities or things make me feel good about myself?
  • How often do I experience these?
  • Does my home environment reflect who I am?
  • Does my work environment reflect who I am?
  • How can I make small changes to help my surroundings mirror the inner me?
  • Who erodes my sense of self? How do they do this? What can I do about it?
  • What six small things can I do right now, in this next week, to reflect my inner worth and personality?
  • What ten things have I always wanted to do, and that will be beneficial to my Soul and Sense of Self, but that I have not done yet?

Now use these answers to start making some changes. Thinking is always useful, but DOING is what makes the difference! Choose to focus on the positive and lift yourself up. I promise it makes a difference.

Much love to you, Nicole ❤  xx

Our heart, and Heart Chakra, is both a receiver and a transmitter for love and wisdom. The more we open our heart by giving, the more we can connect into receiving. This positive flow of loving energy allows us to live from our hearts as intuitive, connected and compassionate human beings.

Activity:

Our hearts love to love. Here are some suggestions for expressing that energy in the world this week:

  • Play with your pets, or go feed ducks in the local park. Animals are wonderfully intuitive, loving and giving.

  • Make a connection that expands your own heart. Read to a child, or even to an adult.

  • Catch up with friends for a coffee, a meal or a movie.

  • Play tennis with a friend, or go to a yoga class together. Do anything athletic that involves someone else, some encouragement, some sharing and some laughing.

  • Visit or call an elderly relative or a family member who’ll be glad to see you!

  • Spend an hour giving random but sincere compliments to strangers. Tell the waitress you like her earrings or the supermarket attendant that you’re grateful for the skilful way he packs your bag so your bread doesn’t get squashed. Smile.

  • Leave a kind and supportive message on a pillow, tucked into a pocket, or posted on a blog.

  • Volunteer, and care for others in some way. Humans love to give, and to help, and to be united in the energy of that caring.

  • Plan a party or a special event to bring together people that you love, even if that event doesn’t take happen straight away.

  • Join a retreat, workshop or holiday tour and meet new friends. Be open to connecting with others.

Journalling:

Meet your heart on the page. Take a minute or two to calm yourself, by closing your eyes and breathing deeply. Focus on your heart, and build that energy within you. Visualise the colour green. (If you wish, work with the energy of the meditation below before you begin!) When you are ready start writing, starting with the words,

“The thing my wise heart really needs my conscious mind to know is…”

Meditation:

This six-minute meditation will help you tap into your heart’s own intuition and wise guidance, opening you up to deeper and deeper levels of spiritual connection.

Sending love from my heart to yours,
