Opera, Folk Metal, Sea Shanties And Early Morning Words

Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.
~ Victor Hugo

Hey Lovelies,

I’ve been writing for a while already, although the morning is young, and it’s very cold. I woke earlier – my pillow wet with tears – and I finally knew how the final chapters of this book I started in that madness of last November (Nanowrimo – where I wrote 50 000 words in a month) would end.

But I needed music to do that.

So, I have my carefully curated playlist of Wagner’s Die Walküre, a Folk Metal collation (yes, it’s a thing!) and Sea Shanties, a pot of herbal tea and I am writing, writing, writing and crying, crying, crying, and it’s all good.

Oh, my. I never expected to love this crazy story that I wrote just for a lark before I dive back in and finish my memoir. But I do love it. And one day soon, I hope you will too.
Okay, back to the mad music and words, Nicole xx
