“Exercise, prayer, and meditation are examples of calming rituals. They have been shown to induce a happier mood and provide a positive pathway through life’s daily frustrations.” ~ Chuck Norris
Earlier this year I ran a Spiritual Awakening Retreat. It was a fabulous week – soulful, reflective, enlightening and practical. One of the activities we shared was learning to make our own meditation malas and then using them daily. All of our malas were supercharged in a massive crystal grid that anchored the energy in the centre of our work room.
We made two extra malas with the express intent of giving them away to members of our community.
Here is the first one, made with white sandalwood beads from a mala sourced from the Quan Yin Temple in Vietnam. It has a nurturing energy and is perfect for someone who is feeling emotionally exhausted, stressed and unsupported.
When you receive this mala you’ll also receive instructions about how to use it as part of a simple and restorative daily meditation practice.
To win, all you need to do is make sure you’re subscribed to our blog and then add your name to the comments below. (There’s a box on the home page where you can enter your details.)
If you share our post via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #winourmala and #cauldronsandcupcakes you’ll receive an extra entry for every post.
And how will this mala make you like Chuck Norris? Chuck Norris meditates every day. Because of meditation he is calm, flexible and mindful enough to do this…
So cool.
Competition closes at 6pm Australian time on Thursday June 28 and winner will be announced here on the blog on June 29.
Good luck! Much love, Nicole ❤ xx
June Workshops and Pop Up Shop:
If you’re looking for some extra support for your spiritual journey come check out my upcoming Pop Up Shop, Channelling Night and One Day Workshops in Brisbane 29 June to July.
On Friday June 29 I’ll have a Pop Up Shop full of wonderful things, and I’ll be doing live demonstrations on how to use singing bowls, crystals and simple energy work techniques. Then on Friday night we have a shared supper and I’ll be doing a Channelling Evening with me and my guides, discussing information and techniques to help you further your own spiritual connection and personal wellbeing.
On Saturday June 30 I’ll be teaching Foundation Spiritual Practices (the things I used to develop my own psychic and intuitive skills, self-awareness and compassion), and on Sunday July 1 I’ll teach Meditation and Mala Making (this second workshop is brilliant if you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, stuck or suffering from anxiety or depression).
If you are hoping to qualify for my next Accelerated Channelling Retreat and Intensive Mentoring Program (This year’s course sold out in one day!) then attending either of these workshops will help you to get ready for that.
No matter what level you’re at I’ll have something for you on my Brisbane program. More details here!
I look forward to seeing you there!
