A Perfectly Wonderful Week For Adventures – Monday Oracle 3 December 2018

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.
~  Roald Dahl

Hello, Lovelies!

December is a month for planning and dreaming, interspersed with fun, curiosity, friendship and celebration.  Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Child of Wands brings us.

This card heralds delightful energies for a week of adventure. For some people that means outings, unexpected invitations or a sudden strong yearning to break free and go do something different instead of being shackled to routine and boredom.

You’ll also find a note of optimism creeping in, and a newfound appreciation for the small details of your life and the world around you.

It’s a week of surprises, inspired thinking, emotional shifts and big breakthroughs. You’ll have an extra store of emotional courage and personal bravery this week, helping you to put yourself out into the world. Child of Wands reminds us that we can go beyond our current limits, and that we can choose to see ourselves and our lives differently – so that a new and brighter future becomes possible. Map those ideas out and begin making a plan. Ideas are no good if they have no action to back them up and turn them from thought into reality.

If you’re a creative soul you’ll find the ideas literally pouring into your brain and body this week, and you’ll feel itchy for some kind of outlet for the expression of all of this energy. Make sure you take the time to capture those ideas in a recording or on paper. Then make a start, no matter how small. It could end up being a life-changing project for you!

Supportive crystals this week?

Petrified Wood promotes compassion, wonder, curiosity and benevolence. It is a stone for healing old hurts and allowing hope back into your heart. Amazonite helps you to live bravely and from your heart, especially in regard to your creative projects. It will boost self-confidence and self-worth. Orange Calcite connects you to inspiration and is great for all forms of creativity. Green Aventurine (pictured) helps you to relax into the flow of life, tapping you into the joy of living and that wonderful feeling of gratitude.

Helpful essential oils?

Hands down it’s Geranium again this week. Geranium is such an underestimated essential oil. With its sweet floral scent it’s brilliant for helping you relax, unwind and get connected to your essence. It will uplift you and stimulate creativity, sensuality and emotional flow – all energies that are great for shifting us into a more creative space. If you’re an over-giver and your tank is dry, geranium oil will fill you back up again.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

For relaxing, enjoying life and lifting your mood try any of these oils on their own or in combination – Wild Orange, Lavender, Geranium, Frankincense and Cinnamon Bark. Cinnamon gives that lovely spicy Christmassy feel to a blend, helping put your house in the holiday mood.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Joy or Believe essential oil blends, or  a combination (or singly!) of any of Grapefruit, Basil, Geranium and Sandalwood. The Joy blend is fabulous if you are feeling anxious or uncertain, or a bit sad or stuck. It’s reassuring and uplifting; wonderful for gently shifting depression and self-doubt. I often wear it as a perfume. Believe oil is a super stress-buster that boosts feel-good energies, creativity and self-esteem. It smells so uplifting and pretty too. Monday Oracle – 12 February 2018

She decided to free herself, dance into the wind, create a new language. And birds fluttered around her, writing “yes” in the sky.”
~ Monique Duval

Hello, Lovelies!

In February we are building on the strength and intuitive connection we found for ourselves at the beginning of the year. February brings opportunities for planning, learning and growing in order to bring about positive change. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of awareness which the oracle card Sleeping Beauty brings us.

This week’s card has a message of support and encouragement.

Sleeping Beauty is here to reconnect us to the power of our dreams. In dreams all kinds of things can happen. When we are asleep we suspend our disbelief. In the land of dreams anything is possible. It’s a place where our wise self can communicate with us, and so can our guides, angels and loved ones.

This week expect that energy of guidance through dreams while we are asleep, and as ‘waking dreams’ where we are gifted ideas, insights, innovations and inspiration. Trust what comes. Know that we are being shown this for a reason. This could be ideas for life direction, work, relationships, health or creative projects. You might also get answers to problems that have confounded you for the longest time.

It’s a week of deep soul connection and illumination, and of the kinds of insights and ideas that can positively change the direction of our lives. Some of you might feel like you’ve finally woken up after living your life on automatic pilot for much too long.

Sleeping Beauty also reminds you that you could be visited by a creative idea from the past that needs to be dusted off and given life. Know that it is making itself known to you because it is time.

Make your creative work, planning and dreams a priority this week. You’ll be glad you did!

Supportive crystals this week?

Use Orange Calcite (pictured) to tune in to inspiration and to help those creative idea flow. It’s also a wonderful beginner stone for tuning in to the spiritual realms. Banded Agate creates a sense of safety, peace and belonging as you open up to living more fully as yourself. Great if you feel anxious about speaking up or sharing your gifts with the world! Sunstone helps you to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that you see the blessings and possibilities in life and to believe in your right to a better future. Rainbow Moonstone tunes you in to your dreams and subconscious mind, and to metaphysical messages.

Helpful essential oils?

Rose essential oil is my pick again for this week. Its sweet floral aroma is uplifting and heart opening. If you can’t find Rose then use Rose Geranium. Use these oils by placing a dab on wrists, neck and over heart as a perfume or diffuse. They are also heavenly in your bathwater.

Want to make your own blend? Sokli gave me this recipe ages ago. She calls it the Lucky Happy Magic Recipe and I find it marvellous for enhancing and supporting creativity. You’ll need Lavender 2 drops, Orange 4 drops, Ylang Ylang 4 drops, Sandalwood 3 drops. This recipe is one of my favourite essential oil blends to put in a diffuser or as a perfume or bath oil. I make up a little bottle of the mix and then I can add it to my bath or take it with me to inhale or wear. Always dilute in a little carrier oil before applying to skin, and remember that citrus oil should not be applied to any skin that will be in sunlight.

I choose to use Young Living essential oils because of their quality and energies. You can find all the oils here.

It’s Not Your Job To Understand The How

“The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.”
Neil deGrasse Tyson

Right now we’re in a great energy for making decisions, crafting plans and dreaming up visions of how we would like our lives and our future selves to be.

I hope you take advantage of this energy to remodel your life or your life direction.

I’d also like to offer some advice;

All you need to work out is what you want. It’s not your job to work out the how.

I see so many people come up with a fantastic vision for their lives, or an incredible business idea. The thoughts they have give them energy and motivation. They are inspired. They are lit up from within.

And then…

And then their brain kicks in.

‘But it’s impossible’, their brain tells them. ‘We don’t know how to do that.’ ‘It’s unrealistic.’ ‘That will never work.’ ‘It will take forever and you’re already too old to be starting something like that.’ ‘We don’t have any money.’

Suddenly goals and dreams that were inspiring and potentially life-changing get whittled down to ‘sensible, practical and achievable’. With that smaller goal comes a total loss of passion and enthusiasm. The spark goes out of it. What was inspired becomes more grind. It breaks my heart!

Here’s the thing. It’s not your job to work out the how. It’s only your job to say YES to this big idea. All you need to do is commit to that vision or goal and start putting energy into it as best you can. As soon as you commit the Universe kicks in support and all kinds of magical synchronicities and help begin to flow your way. As you walk the path you’ll work out what direction to take, or what step needs to come next. Or someone else will show you or assist you.

It doesn’t mean there won’t be setbacks or obstacles. We all experience those, no matter what we do.

So, if an idea comes to you and lights you up, say yes to it. Even if you have no idea how to make it happen. The how comes later. And if you don’t say YES to that idea it will leave you, and go find someone who is willing to invest energy into it to make it move from thoughtform into reality. Think about it – I’m sure you’ve had a good idea before and not acted on it. At some later date you’ve walked down the street or turned on the TV and there’s your idea, brought to life by someone else and making them happy or making them money! Hey, you think. That’s my idea. But it isn’t. Because you didn’t commit. You got stuck in your head and let the HOW question overwhelm you.

So, Lovelies, dream big. Dare to think about your future and what that might look like. Be open to ideas. Invite them in. And don’t worry about the HOW. The universe is an ever-unfolding, ever-expanding miracle, looking for opportunities to express and explore. That means that those inspirations need a home. Be that home. Say YES. The HOW will take care of itself. That’s the way it’s always been done. Commit and you will find a way.

Biggest hugs and love to you, Nicole  xx
