The Tree House In The Forest

Old Person: What are you going to do when you grow up?
Nicole, Aged 5: Live in a treehouse and write stories.

Nicole Cody

Hey, Lovelies!

Yesterday was a big day for us.

In the strangest and most unexpected of ways we have found ourselves affected by a series of synchronicities which has led us to the beginning of the end of one chapter in our lives and the dawning of another.

We have sold our beloved farm, to a beautiful multi-generational family, who will be wonderful custodians for the land and the animals.

We have bought a tree-house in the forest – a childhood dream of mine since I was a little girl. It’s a treehouse with plumbing, and electricity, and a deep bathtub, a dream kitchen, and exquisite privacy, six minutes from the beach.

It’s a house for writing.

A house for masterminding.

A house for breathing in the clean, sweet mountain air and that good salt tang of brine and freshness.

A house for simplicity and creativity.

Now, the crazy part happens, as we pack up a lifetime of stuff, and thin it down from two giant sheds, a farm house and a city house, to one treehouse and a small shed.

30 days. 30 days to get it all done. We’re going to be busy!

But, after months of restlessness, I finally slept well last night. This new place is already calling me, and it feels like home.

Thanks for all your well-wishes and positive energy yesterday – I absolutely know it smoothed the way for us, and helped this all come together in quite a wondrous way.

Love, hugs, and packing boxes, Nicole xx
