Revitalization Week Ahead! Monday Oracle 9 April 2018

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the single candle will not be shortened.”
~ “The Teaching of Buddha.”

Hello, Lovelies!

April is a month that brings a delicious flow of new ideas and inspiration. Your job is to honour this flow, making room for change in your life and for acting on these ideas and inspired thoughts. If you’ve lacked direction you’ll be glad to know that April gifts you sudden flashes of insight and clarity. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Eight of Wands brings us.

This week brings revitalisation of our creative essence. In fact, it brings revitalisation of our very life force.

Let your intuition guide you this week. Pay attention to the rhythms of your body. For some of you this means surrendering to deep rest. Grab an early night or two, dial down your commitments, do less. I know – you might need to fight the familiar panic that comes up when you have so much to do and now I’m asking you to slow down or even stop! But who makes good decisions or creates their best work when they are as sharp as a beachball? A few days of unplugging and good rest will have you back on your game again, refreshed and so much more alive with ideas and possibilities than you are right now.

For some of you this is the week to bunker down with that project or idea you’ve been dancing around. The ideas will flow. You’ll find yourself incredibly productive. Don’t worry about being balanced this week – give yourself to the creative whirlwind and go your hardest.

How do you tell which situation best suits you? Close your eyes, take a deep breath and relax your body. Now tune in. Are you teetering on the edge of exhaustion or is there plenty of juice left in your tank? Go by your true energy level. If you’re fatigued rest up first – you’ll still be able to finish the week strong.

This is also a week for finding teachers, mentors and sources of inspiration, and for being that creative light for others too. Inspire and let yourself be inspired.

Then get back to me and tell me what happened for you this week. I just know some of you are going to have enormous productivity, breakthroughs and important realisations!

Supportive crystals this week?

Clear Quartz amplifies intuition and your ability to tune in to Universal and Personal Wisdom. It’s a great stone to enable you to understand at a soul level what your body really needs. Amazonite helps you to live bravely, defending and protecting what is important to you, especially in regard to your creative projects. Red Jasper will keep you grounded as the ideas flow, and gift you stamina and resilience if you end up burning the candle at both ends. Fluorite (pictured below) taps you into your innate creativity, fires up your inspiration and helps you to be honest, objective and innovative with your work.

Helpful essential oils?

Hands down it’s Geranium this week. Geranium is such an underestimated essential oil. With its sweet floral scent it’s brilliant for helping you relax, unwind and get connected to your essence. It will uplift you and stimulate creativity, sensuality and emotional flow – all energies that are great for shifting us into a more creative space. If you’re an over-giver and your tank is dry, geranium oil will fill you back up again.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am creating, writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself.

You can find the oils here.

Monday Oracle – 22 January 2018

“One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. – Friedrich Nietzsche

Hello, Lovelies!

January is a month for easing ourselves into the energies of 2018, for resting and recharging, for planning and dreaming and for tuning in to what can support us in the year ahead. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of awareness which the oracle card 4 of Hearts brings us.

Hot on the heels of the New Moon in Capricorn, which encouraged and inspired us to look to our future and what we are willing to commit to in order to make those dreams manifest, 4 of Hearts brings the awareness this week that some of our cherished dreams need to be let go, because in our hearts we are not committed to making them happen. We’re not ever going to put in the work required, or we are no longer in synch with this old dream or ideal. Hanging on to the old dream stops us from being able to evolve and grow towards something more suited to our highest good.

4 of Hearts reminds us that when we let go of the old we make room for something new to come our way. It’s okay to grieve broken and lost dreams this week, but once your tears are dry and you’ve felt and acknowledged your emotions expect a new surge of inspiration and direction to find you in the days and weeks ahead.

This week you may also feel exhausted and like you can’t possibly go on – that things will never change, and you will never get the outcome you desire. In the old energy of years past we struggled on our own. In this new 2018 energy of connection and community know that there will be help from outside your own efforts. Friends will turn up. Helpful people will appear. New information will become available. Expect a turnaround, a breakthrough, a renewal of hope this week. And know that for some you, this week is about you becoming that hope and guidance for others!

Supportive crystals this week?

Any double-terminated crystal or cluster of crystals from the quartz family (think clear quartz, smoky, amethyst or citrine) placed in the room where you spend most of your time will amplify your ability to connect to your inner wisdom and to become inspired through new thoughts, imagination and divine guidance.  Selenite (pictured) helps you to be kind to yourself and is fantastic for gently guiding you inwards. Red Jasper is a stone for mental, physical and emotional rejuvenation. Deeply grounding, it helps you connect to your heart and your truth and encourages a sense of safety. Green Chrysoprase opens your heart and helps you find the courage to live the life that calls you.

Helpful essential oils?

This week I’m using Young Living’s Inspiration blend. Inspiration helps me to release negative thoughts and emotions, beat procrastination and enhance my spiritual connection. Its fragrance is grounding and uplifting, and I also find that instills me with a quiet optimism. Dab a drop on your Third Eye, back of neck, over your heart, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. It’s also a gorgeous addition to your bath water.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this week, but they’ll also make a great combination for diffusing. Cedarwood is calming, gives a sense of security and helps us overcome self doubt. Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, Frankincense calms and connects us, promoting emotional balance and Bergamot brings joy, gratitude and optimism.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.
