A Week for Empowered Action – Monday Oracle 18 March 2019

“For after all, the best thing one can do when it is raining is let it rain.”
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Hello, Lovelies!

March is a month of creativity and inspiration that will propel us forward in new directions and where we can make major progress towards existing goals. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Acceptance brings us.

There are two big themes to the energies of this week: Self-Love and Ultimate Responsibility. Acceptance shows us the wisdom of truly honouring the truth of our current circumstances. We might not like where we are at in our lives, or how we are behaving, we might not be happy with our choices, we may feel far from our goals and dreams – but Acceptance teaches us that the starting point for all self-love and all self-acceptance is to be present with the truth of where we are at right now in this moment.

Sitting in that place of truth (even if we don’t like what we see!) is empowering. It gives us a starting point and a place from which we can measure any future progress. Acceptance is the powerful energy of owning where we are at, within the framework of all of the other circumstances and relationships that impact our life.

This week take a little time to do an audit of your life. Where are you are with your health, your relationships, your money, your career, your goals or anything else important to you? Don’t judge or blame yourself for being where you are – that’s never helpful. Allow yourself to connect to the truth of your situation without emotion. It is what it is. Self-love can only come when we begin at this place of honesty with ourselves, and are able to love and accept ourselves DESPITE things within our current reality we would rather were different.

Acceptance also empowers us to take Ultimate Responsibility for our life this week. Ultimate Responsibility means that we stop blaming others, we stop finding excuses, we stop justifying or validating. We stop running ourselves down and trash-talking ourselves. Instead, we choose to accept responsibility for every single thing in our lives, no matter how we got to that place.

When we take Ultimate Responsibility we stop waiting for other people to change or to fix things for us and we empower ourselves to either 1) stop complaining and accept things as they are, or 2) make the decision to change what we don’t like and then take action until we get an outcome that is better than our current reality.

In the spirit of the Acceptance card and the gifts she brings what one area of your life can you take Ultimate Responsibility for this week, empowering yourself to make changes to give you better outcomes?

Combine Frankincense, Lemon and Peppermint Essential Oils for an energising and focusing diffuser blend this week. A ratio of 2 drops of Frankincense, and 3 drops each of Lemon and Peppermint is delicious!

Frankincense helps you to be grounded and connected at the same time, and reduces stress and inflammation within the body. Lemon is uplifting and helps bring focus and clarity, and Peppermint refreshes the mind and spirit.

PS: Monday’s oracle card, Acceptance, is from the Peace Oracle. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

The Authority of Soul

“Whatever you are physically…male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy–all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but
you are the light inside.”
~ Cassandra Clare

I am so wearied by the New Age teachers and practitioners telling you that the tarot cards have the power, or your Guides, or the Angels, or the dead relatives who sit all around you. Or that your life is goverened by some soul contract or past life karma of which you have no knowledge. I want you to know that this was never true.

One of the things that is most important to me as a metaphysical teacher is for you to understand that your ultimate power lies within you, your ultimate authority and wisdom also. This is YOUR life, and when you learn to tune in to your own wisdom you become empowered to make the decisions that are right for you. No-one knows you better. And everything I teach is for the purpose of helping you know yourself, to connect you to your inner wisdom and to help you forge your own considered path in the world.

It’s our last day of Retreat today, and our participants will leave here having deepened that soul connection and with renewed personal clarity. I’m so proud of all they have achieved and I am excited to be supporting them on the next part of their journey as I mentor them in actioning the Calling they have identified for themselves.

When you stop giving your power away, and learn to trust your inner Guidance, so much more is possible.

How about you? Are you steady and trusting in listening to the wisdom of your heart or are you still looking outside you for guidance and direction?

When you learn to tune in, and you start to trust what you know, your life will change for the better. I promise.

Much love to you, Nicole ❤ xx

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
~ Eckhart Tolle

“Dare to dream again.
For dreaming is the language of your soul,
And nothing your soul truly desires could ever be wrong or impossible.”
~ Jacob Nordby

Hello, Lovelies <3

It’s June already. We’re nearly at the midpoint of our year. I promised that I would support you in making the most of this year’s opportunities, so here’s my Heads Up about the month ahead, as well as a few suggestions for embracing all that June has to offer.

June has a sense of expansiveness and possibility that’s been lacking in recent months. There’s an abundance of energetic support for you to explore and open up to new opportunities and new directions in your life. You’re being encouraged to put energy into making your dreams a reality.

It reminds me of the movie Field of Dreams, with its taglines If you build it, he will come… and If you believe the impossible, the incredible can come true.

Card for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for May for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Hidden Realms. Remember that I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

satfeb25card

The message of this first card, Abundance, is all about sitting in a position of gratitude for the many blessings already present in our world and using that positive space to build on our own hopes and dreams. When we actively practice gratitude we begin to cultivate an energy of joy in our daily life.

In June we have the opportunity to work on things that bring us a sense of emotional satisfaction, as well as toiling joyfully on the foundations of enterprise and activity that will go on to create material reward for us. Plant seeds now so that the harvest will be healthy and abundant in times to come.

June is a month for planning and acting on our dreams. It is also a time for social connection, for celebration and for doing the things that make us happy.

It’s expected that June will be a busy month, but when we are engaged with things that we enjoy being busy is never a trial. June calls us to pour our heart and soul into life, and the things that matter to us. Always from a position of gratitude.

When we acknowledge abundance more blessings flow to us.

We are also cautioned against being cynical or judging ourselves or others. Everyone walks their own path, and only your path is your business. You may not get to scale the highest peaks in June but if you at least begin the climb there is a very good chance that eventually you will make it to that high peak, or somewhere better.

the-web-weaver

The second card I’ve chosen brings a message of great support. The Web Weaver reminds you that you are not alone in the Universe. As you take action and begin to move in the direction of your dreams expect support from unexpected quarters, divine synchronicities and that magical feeling of things happening easily or just falling into place.

June is all about waking up from that long cold winter of stuckness and shooting tendrils of fresh vigorous growth out into the world as the sun shines down upon you and gentle rain falls as needed, in order that the growth be sustainable and healthy.

You’re being reminded to dream big, and to not judge yourself or the likelihood of your success by your present circumstances. Where you are now is the result of where you’ve been. It’s old news. It isn’t where you need to stay. In each moment you can reinvent yourself. It’s never too late. You’re never too old. Don’t look behind you any more. Have faith in your dreams, chart a course, keep your eyes on the horizon and move ahead.

Getting Ready for May 2015

“A lot of things are inherent in life -change, birth, death, aging, illness, accidents, calamities, and losses of all kinds- but these events don’t have to be the cause of ongoing suffering. Yes, these events cause grief and sadness, but grief and sadness pass, like everything else, and are replaced with other experiences. The ego, however, clings to negative thoughts and feelings and, as a result, magnifies, intensifies, and sustains those emotions while the ego overlooks the subtle feelings of joy, gratitude, excitement, adventure, love, and peace that come from Essence. If we dwelt on these positive states as much as we generally dwell on our negative thoughts and painful emotions, our lives would be transformed.”
~ Gina Lake, What about Now?: Reminders for Being in the Moment

Hello, Lovelies 🙂

Here we are in May! I promised that I would support you in making the most of this year’s opportunities, so here’s my Heads Up about the month ahead, as well as a few suggestions for embracing all that May has to offer.

There is some outer tumult going on in the world through May, or having rippled through to us from April, so it’s time to anchor ourselves in our essence and draw part of our attention inwards. This act serves to stabilise our energy and emotional state, helping us to be strong and grounded so that we can weather any storms and better support those around us.

Card for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for April for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Hidden Realms. Remember that I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

The message of this first card, The Creator,  is all about working on your own essence. For some people this will be about health. May is supporting us to take action with health – through diet, exercise, health programs and support from wise practitioners – so that we can purify our bodies, support our energy and wellness levels, and move into that space of feeling good, inside and out. Activities such as yoga, tai chi, qi gong and meditation will also be helpful for building your essence and energy.

For others, essence is about building confidence. Becoming clearer about who we are, what we want, what we’re keeping and what we need to let go. Developing a stronger voice in the world. Surrounding ourselves with supportive and healthy relationships. Speaking our truth. Skilled therapists and teachers can also help us with this.

Finally, May also gives us a powerful opportunity to be working on our offerings the essence of ourselves that we wish to share with the world. This could be a book, a course or workshop, a creative piece, performance, a competition, or even a service we want to offer. May is the time to work on it, to pour it forth and polish it. Focus on this offering, and make time for it above all else.

In May keep asking yourself  Who am I? How do I want to live in the world? What do I want to offer to the world? What best represents my essence?

The second card I’ve chosen is a deep reminder of the universal energy, love and support that surrounds us daily. The Cosmos reminds you to breathe life into your creative projects. It also encourages us to be clear in setting our intentions, because we are powerful co-creators. Our energy, thought and action ripples out from us and will carry influence to others.

There are things hidden within you that need to be shared with the world. It’s time.

May allows us to draw on the wisdom and support of our ancestors, our guides and Spirit. It is a month that supports a deepening of our own mysticism and spiritual connection.

May is a fabulous time for journalling, spiritual work and path walking. Make sure that you leave some time for solitary work and self work. This journey will help you to get clear about who you really are, and to connect with your heart and soul wisdom. You’ll also find ways to resolve old hurts and leave old sorrows behind. There is plenty of energetic shedding to be done, as you clarify your essence.

Writing Yourself into a Brighter Future – Some writing prompts to help you get clear about future direction

Manifesting New Directions and Opportunities – more lovely journal activities for getting out of stuckness and back into flow

You are beautiful, and worthy, and there is an energy within you that is not duplicated anywhere else in the world. Allow the energies of May to help you understand yourself better, and to anchor yourself in what supports and inspires you. Be ready to start working on your offerings to share with the world. Invoke your essence.

Much love, Nicole <3 xx

Practicing Mindfulness with Your Power Word

“The most fundamental aggression to ourselves, the most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves, is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently.”
~ Pema Chödrön, When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times

Well, here we are, nearly at the end of January.

Already I feel some of you slipping into despair. Slipping into the old patterns of thoughts and behaviours that no longer serve you. Going back to what was…

Some of you are feeling muddled. Even a little defeated. You started on a high, and already you feel your momentum dwindling.

That’s okay. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Change is almost always a gradual process.

Honey, don’t give up! It’s only January and we have a whole abundant year of possibility ahead of us.

Did you go ahead and choose your power word already? If yes, take that word out and get ready to exercise it a little. If no, then go here and get your power word sorted. You can even go a little further if you want, and explore it in more depth here, connecting your word with a crystal or stone.

That tiny word or phrase you’ve chosen holds a special magic for you this year. Let’s take a few minutes and connect back into that magic, so that it appears in your life as a guiding force.

Image from danspapers.com

Image from danspapers.com

Here are some tips and techniques for really using that word as a tool to bring about change:

1. Hold your Power Word crystal in your cupped hands. (Didn’t do that yet? Go here and get that crystal sorted) Breathe deeply, relax your body and then think on your word. Feel that word, and the energy of the word, entering your body. Feel it as a colour. Feel it as a vital flow and force within your veins, your nerves, your brain, your cells.

2. Ask yourself, How can I best live my word today? Now wait for an answer or a knowingness from within. It might be an idea, a specific course of action, a task or an inspiration. It might be small, or grand. No matter. Sit with that guidance and then apply it in your life today. Write notes in your journal if it helps. Then take a minute or two to plan your day around these intuitive insights.

3. At random times during the course of the day, hold your crystal and connect in to your word. Holding on to the energy of that word ask yourself What do I need to do right now? Doing this will keep you focused, and help you make better choices and decisions that will manifest a stronger year for you, with more deliberate and positive results.

I’m here to keep reminding you, and supporting you. I know that 2015 can be the year where it all changes for you. But for that to happen you need to be present in your life, you need to choose differently and consciously this year. You need to empower yourself. You can do it!

I’m cheering you on. You’re not alone in this.

Lots of love, Nicole xx
