A Week For Simplicity – Monday Oracle 21 January 2019

“ Live simply, so that others may simply live. ”
~ Mother Theresa

Hello, Lovelies!

January is a month for planning, and for becoming clear about what matters to you. It’s a month for prioritising, honouring your heart and putting routines and acts of self-care into place for the year ahead. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Simplicity brings us.

This week we’re reminded that what we focus on multiplies in 2019. We can focus on our problems or we can focus on solutions. We can focus on what we lack or what we already have. And in every situation, Simplicity guides us to choose a less complicated and simpler life. So much of our life is crammed with stuff, and with busy-ness. No wonder most adults (and sadly so many children too) feel overwhelmed by their day-to-day lives. This week look to where you can let go of commitments and obligations that make your days over-full. Look for where you can simplify your possessions and your spaces too – both at work and at home.

Create some breathing space for yourself. Clean your living spaces and your work spaces. Clutter distracts and de-energises us.

As we move into better alignment with our inner truth and soul direction, thanks in part to this fabulous lunar eclipse energy, Simplicity encourages us to strip back our days, to find some space for ourselves and our loved ones and for the activities that rejuvenate and nourish us.

Some of the best things in life truly are free – friendship, laughter, a walk on the beach, playing with your kids or pets, curled up with a good book or watching a sunrise. Simplicity urges us to make room for those things this week.

Supportive crystals this week?

Green Jade (pictured) works with your Heart Chakra to bring balance and integration of Body, Mind and Spirit. It is positive and nurturing, strengthening self-worth. Citrine supports your Solar Plexus Chakra and sense of identity. It is a stone of abundance, clearing blocks of low self-worth and creating flow. Red Jasper is a stone for mental, physical and emotional rejuvenation. Deeply grounding, it helps you connect to your heart and your truth and encourages a sense of safety. Turquoise encourages empathy, compassion and the ability to slow down and stay grounded.

Helpful essential oils?

Mandarin essential oil is supportive this week. It reduces anxiety, promotes calm and helps us to relax. It also uplifts and re-inspires us.Cypress or Basil will improve your mental focus and clear away those cobwebs in your brain, helping you to focus and work effectively. Lemongrass helps with being open to change and for pattern-breaking.  It’s a beautiful oil to diffuse to promote fresh and positive mental perspectives. These oils can be diffused on their own or in combination.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Monday Oracle – 14 January 2019

“ None of us knows what might happen even the next minute, yet still we go forward. Because we trust. Because we have Faith. ”
~ Paulo Coelho, Brida

Hello, Lovelies!

This year as I present our #MondayOracle I am dividing the year into Quarters, to correspond with all of us in the community who are using my YOM Planner. Each quarter of 2019 has different energetic themes, so I will choose an oracle or tarot deck that best supports those themes. For our First Quarter, which is all about developing your focus, alignment and direction I will be using the Peace Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno and Leela J. Williams.

January is a month for planning, and for becoming clear about what matters to you. It’s a month for prioritising, honouring your heart and putting routines and acts of self-care into place for the year ahead. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Trust brings us.

Trust encourages us to get out of our head and back into our body this week. When we live only in our head we can neglect our physical and emotional wellbeing. We can lose connection to our body’s natural wisdom and make choices that are not healthy or supportive. When we live only from our head we do not hear our body’s constant quiet conversation with us – we stop recognising when we are truly hungry or tired or in need of emotional support. We numb ourselves and stuff ourselves and alienate ourselves from this body that is the housing for our soul.

Have you been over-thinking, over-working and living off adrenaline and stress? Trust comes to your aid this week. Her energies support us reconnecting with our bodies, helping us to move to a place of acceptance of ourselves as we are right now, even if we hold an intention of changing from the way we are today.

This week we’re reminded that our body has its own wisdom. When we tune in to that we can begin to reset our natural patterns and preferences. Our body will gravitate towards the food, movements and habits that will nourish and heal it if only we take time to get out of our head and then pay attention to our inner motivators and instincts.

It’s a great week to see health professionals, to get a medical or dental check-up, to start a healthier food or exercise plan, or to detox and embrace a less-stressed life.

Look to schedule regular self-care, beauty and massage sessions, and put healthy routines in place that support your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Citrine supports your Solar Plexus Chakra and sense of identity. It is a stone of abundance, clearing blocks of low self-worth and creating flow. Ruby Zoisite is a stone of transformation, helping you to be empowered in your life. It elevates your confidence and authority, and improves fertility, imagination and innovation. Green Aventurine supports you to be playful, joyful and optimistic about life.

Helpful essential oils?

Magnolia essential oil helps you to reconnect to your body, and promotes self-acceptance and positive body image. Its fruity, floral aroma is calming and nurturing. Use it on the soles of your feet, and to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume.

Palmarosa stabilises your emotions and rejuvenates you when you are feeling tired or emotionally battered and bruised. Its gentle nature will help recenter you when you’ve lost your way. Add a few drops to your bath with a little Magnolia or Lavender for a peaceful soak.

Lemongrass helps with being open to change and for pattern-breaking.  It’s a beautiful oil to diffuse to promote fresh and positive mental perspectives.

Living From Your Heart Space -Monday Oracle 7 January 2019

“Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses.
Focus on your character, not your reputation.
Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes.”
~ Roy T. Bennett

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Heart Space brings us.

Heart Space reminds us that when we listen to our hearts and do what we love – even if that is a hobby or something we fit into our downtime, like music or gardening or rollerball derby or baking bread – our life becomes richer and more satisfying. We can use these experiences that enrich us to top up the well of love inside us from which we give to others, and that also feeds our creative acts. This prevents us from burning out, running dry or moving into overwhelm and resentment.

This week give thought to the relationships, activities and places that nourish and nurture you. Think about how you can incorporate these into your life on a regular basis. This kind of self-care can be life-changing as it moves you back into energetic flow and aligns you with what matters most to you.

It’s a beautiful week for any kind of creative venture so bake, paint, craft, play, make, write, and create. Or go one further and sign up to a creative class or carve out some dedicated time and space for your art.

Most importantly, don’t just think about it. ACT ON IT! Make a deliberate effort to nurture your heart space this week. DO things that fill you up. Make time for yourself and your dreams, and for doing what you love. This is especially important if your life is stressful and demanding. And remember that what we focus on, multiplies. So focus on what makes you happy and what helps you to feel good about your life. Take your focus away from your problems and look to solutions or something that can bring an energy of gratitude to your life.

Heart Space teaches us that when we begin to live from a place of honouring our own needs, and become happier as a result of better boundaries, self-care and engaging in activities that nourish us we become magnetic to better opportunities, love, synchronicity and magic. All because we moved into flow…

Helpful essential oils?

Grapefruit essential oil will promote optimism and help you to be able to feel into what uplifts you and makes you happy. It’s a super choice if you’re feeling a bit flat or blue. It’s a great blend for your diffuser this week if you combine it with Geranium and Palmarosa. Use 2 to 3 drops of each oil in your blend.

Palmarosa stabilises your emotions and rejuvenates you when you are feeling tired or emotionally battered and bruised. It’s gentle nature will help recenter you when you’ve lost your way.

Geranium is brilliant for helping you relax, unwind and get connected to your creative and intuitive essence. It will uplift you and stimulate creativity, self-confidence and emotional flow – all energies that are great for shifting you into a more positive space. If you’re an over-giver and your tank is dry, Geranium oil will fill you back up again. Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma.

January 2019 Energies – A Month for Defining Priorities and Moving On Up!

“And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Hello, Lovelies

At the beginning of every month, I will discuss the energies and gifts of the month ahead and how we can best use them to make our lives satisfying, meaningful and productive.

I also choose a card to support the energies of the month. The deck I am using this year is The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid, and January’s card is Five of Earth.

What you focus on multiplies in January.

That means you’ll need to pay careful attention to the words you use, the thoughts you have and the beliefs you hold.

It’s a great month for creating a Vision Board of images and words that represent your ideal life. Make an effort to talk about and think about the projects, relationships and possibilities that matter to you and inspire you.

Minimise talk and thoughts about your fears, doubts and worries.

This is a month to define your priorities and to identify the areas where you wish to see growth, improvement and progress this year.

It’s also a time to evaluate what hasn’t worked, what is no longer working, and
what is coming to an end.

Make use of this clarity with your planning sessions. Involve your family or team if you can and look for opportunities to connect and collaborate on shared visions.

January is a month to honour your heart, and for all forms of self-care and acts of well-being.

It’s a great month for putting new ways of eating, moving or working into place. Look to schedule regular walks, gym time, massages, hair appointments or whatever else will keep you looking and feeling good this year.

Put some holiday times in your schedule too.

Take the long view of your year ahead. It’s going to get busy fast, so use this
month to set yourself up for nurture and self-maintenance.

January also offers the opportunity to move out of poverty consciousness in any stuck area of your life and to and open yourself to new possibilities.

You’ll feel ready to keep the lessons from years gone by but to no longer
be defined by the past.

This is a month for clariryb and purpose – use this energy to define your priorities and to identify the areas where you wish to see growth, improvement and progress this year.

It’s time to move on!

Above all, stay positive. Watch your self-talk.  Be aware of old beliefs and that critical or negative voice inside your head. Lovingly put it to one side and get started on building a better life for yourself.

It’s time to start working on your foundation and then grow things from there – sustainably and with a balance between work and everything else.

Best crystals this month?

Green Jade and Citrine

Green Jade works with your Heart Chakra to bring balance and integration of body, mind and spirit. Ut is positive and n urturing, strengthening self-worth.

Citrine supports your Solar Plexus Chakra and sense of identity. It is a stone of abundance, clearing blocks of low self-worth and creating flow. I

Essential oils to support your journey?

Combine Lime and Cypress Essential Oils for an uplifting and focusing diffuser blend this month.

Lime helps clear away stale energy, Use it to clear away the last vestiges of 2018, and any disappointments, hurts or negative emotions that the previous year brought your way. It brings a sense of optimism and renewal for body, mind and spirit.

Cypress is really like taking an energetic broom to the cobwebs in the corners of your life. It gifts focus and clarity, and is a beautiful oil for enhancing calm concentration. It supports being able to plan your life without being limited by self-sabotage or negative thinking.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com
