Hello, Lovelies!

August is here, bringing a delicious basket of delights. It’s a month for creativity in all forms and for getting back into the flow of life again. You’ll find a lift in your mood and a clear road ahead so get ready to make the most of the opportunities all around you. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card  Nine of Crystals brings us.

Nine of Crystals is about being the storyteller of your own life. It is up to you to be the author – to write your life the way you want to live it. It’s about stepping into consciousness and understanding your role as a co-creator in your life. It’s a time of heightened creativity and of positive opportunities, gifts and freeing up of flow and abundance.

Don’t panic if the Universe has alreday got the wheel in motion by ending something in your life or turning everything on its head – your outcomes will end up being positive as you are repositioned to somewhere that suits you better and allows greater flow and growth.

This week you’ll find the strength to step away from people and situations that don’t work for you, or to plan your escape at a time that suits your needs. It’s a week well suited to applying for new positions, for asking someone new out on a date and for anything where you are trying new things or stepping outside your comfort zone.

Nine of Crystals encourages you to inspire, encourage and uplift others this week by sharing information and kind words and showing your support. Expect generosity, kindness and goodwill to flow back to you too.

Creative energies are at an all-time high during August so carve out some time to work on projects that are meaningful to you, or sign up for some classes to hone your talents or learn new skills. It’s also a week to find some quiet time and moments that fill body and soul with love and nurture.

Ruby Zoisite is a stone of transformation, helping you to be empowered in your life. It elevates your confidence and authority, and improves fertility, imagination and innovation. Carnelian dispels doubt and negativity, strengthening self-esteem, confidence and creativity. Sunstone helps you to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that you see the blessings and possibilities in life and to believe in your right to a better future.  Clear Quartz (pictured) will help you to grow into your possibilities, to create a clear vision for your life, and to connect deeply to your intuitive wisdom and soul guidance.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Geranium this week. Geranium is such an underestimated essential oil. With its sweet floral scent it’s brilliant for helping you relax, unwind and get connected to your creative and intuitive essence. It will uplift you and stimulate creativity, self-confidence and emotional flow – all energies that are great for shifting you into a more positive space. If you’re an over-giver and your tank is dry, Geranium oil will fill you back up again.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and inspiring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am creating, writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself.

You’ll find a lift in your mood and a clear road ahead so get ready to make the most of the opportunities all around you.Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card  Wishing Upon A Star brings us.

Wishing Upon A Star is a sign that a special wish or dream may soon be fulfilled. It’s a sign of favourable conditions and good outcomes. Whatever it is you are hoping for, there is positive shift and progress ahead! Use this week to get clear about your life vision. If you need help with that try the activities in this post.

It’s a call to the Lightworkers of the world to add their prayers and positive vibration to the stream of light that is already uplifting and healing humanity and the earth. It’s about us needing to be the answer and the change that we are looking for. What can you do this week to radiate love, light and compassion into the world? How can you uplift and support others? How can you nurture and protect Mother Earth? Lightworkers, I’m calling on you this week to add your energy to mine, and to help wherever you can!

We are in a week of strong intuitive energy, so psychic connection, healing work and all forms of spiritual and personal development are well supported.

It’s also a week that is well aspected for pregnancy. Great news if this is what you are working towards, but if it isn’? Remember to take precautions!

August is here, bringing a delicious basket of delights. It’s a month for creativity in all forms and for getting back into the flow of life again. You’ll find a lift in your mood and a clear road ahead so get ready to make the most of the opportunities all around you.Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Guardian of Hearts brings us.

Guardian of Hearts is all about Angelic Guidance. There is so much love around us – all we ever need to do is tune in.This week call on your Guardian Angel, the Archangels and the Unnamed Angels to support you and to smooth the way in all you do. The energies of this week support moving you in healthier and more supportive directions with work, love, finances and life.

Don’t believe in Angels? Then know that the Guardian of Hearts heralds helpful people and situations in everyday life too!

It’s a card of reassurance for those of you who are going through hard times that your prayers will be heard and answered.

For some people it’s a week of you finding your calling, or of receiving Divine Inspiration or the idea that will turn your situation around. If you are an artist or creative know that the Muse with  be with you this week!

Apophyllite connects you to the flow of Universal wisdom and dispels doubt and fear. It also amplifies your own intuitive ability. Celestite connects you to the Angelic realms for their guidance and protection and allows for easier connection during meditation.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Joy or Believe essential oil blends, or  a combination (or singly!) of any of Grapefruit, Basil, Geranium and Sandalwood. The Joy blend is fabulous if you are feeling anxious or uncertain, or a bit sad or stuck. It’s reassuring and uplifting; wonderful for gently shifting depression and self-doubt. I often wear it as a perfume. Believe oil is a super stress-buster that boosts feel-good energies, creativity and self-esteem. It smells so uplifting and pretty too. It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed, Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot promotes joy, gratitude and optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. Hello, Lovelies!

July’s energies have been so heart-full and supportive of love and togetherness. In these final few days of this month’s energies make sure you find time for the people and things you love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Aladdin and the Magic Lamp brings us.

This week Aladdin and the Magic Lamp remind us of the power of our dreams. And a dream is never more important than when we are in a hard place, a dark place, a place from which the attainment of that dream seems impossible.

Rise up this week. We are being offered hope through the journey of transformation and the promise of wishes coming true.

The power is within us. We create our own reality from our thoughts, words, intentions and actions. We hold within us the ability to imagine a better, brighter future for ourselves.

The Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse we’ve just experienced has brought up all our old fears, doubts, wounds and shames to be healed and let go. But what will take their place? That’s up to you. So dream it. Imagine it without placing limits on yourself. Then trust in a benevolent universe that will strive to bring you those dreams, giving ten-fold to the energy you yourself put forward.

I often use it on my retreats to facilitate the release of trauma and to help students overcome fear, shame, heartbreak and emotional burdens around betrayal, abuse and abandonment. It opens us to being able to feel worthy of opportunity, and it helps us to positively transform. Place a few drops on soles of feet, wrists, over heart, base of spine and back of neck to help you release negative energy and emotion and move back into a heart-centred space.
