Quiet Time And Spiritual Practices

“Find your bones. Believe in what you are.”
Grace Sara

I’m taking a little quiet time this morning. Pulling some cards. Meditating with favourite crystals and my mala beads. Writing in my journal. Afterwards, I’ll go for coffee and an early breakfast with my beloved Ben, Cafe Dog, and maybe a friend or two if anyone is awake and available.

These early morning spiritual practices and rituals have helped me enormously in my life. They’ve taught me about myself, gifted me much more compassion, kindness and  wisdom, and opened me up psychically. All of them are easy to master, but can take you very deeply into a place of connection and self-understanding. I’ll be teaching these foundation skills in my upcoming ‘Soul Sanctuary – Working With Crystals’ Retreat in Byron Bay.

I’ll be sharing a little more about this retreat tomorrow, but if you’d like more information in the meantime, you can find it here.

Wishing you a peaceful journey today, wherever life’s road takes you,

Much love, Nicole xx

Join Me In Sending Love and Light to Close Out 2016 and Welcome In 2017

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
~ Barack Obama

“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”

Here on our farm I’ve made a special healing grid for us,to help close out the energies of 2016 and all of the years before that which were the previous energetic era – the one that stretched all the way back to before the time of Christ.

It’s also to welcome in the new energetic era, and the fresh bright energies of 2017, which actually show up and begin to have an early influence from today – December 17, 2016.

This crystal grid began in a humble way, anchored by an Aboriginal stone club head representing masculine energy, and a selenite fish tail representing feminine energy. Both of those stones were ringed by Cockatoo Dreaming beads (painted seeds). Within that ring were tumbled clear quartz and ruby in fuschite.

Extending out from the beads were a ring of chevron amethyst. Beyond that, natural quartz generator points, tumbled quartz and black tourmaline.

That was the foundation of the grid.

2016-12-05-18-12-09

I created the grid for energetic support for us as we shift from the old energy into the new. For support from our ancestors and guides as we shift old family patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us. As we pattern-break for ourselves and our loved ones.

I created this grid to help our feet find our souls’ own songlines so that we can become part of this great shift of consciousness by being who we came here to be, and doing what we came here to do as we move into 2017 and this dawning new energetic era.

The grid is anchored too by the energy of an ancient Crow’s Ash tree, whose boughs the grid sits beneath. Can you feel the energy of this gracious and wise old tree when you tune in to the grid?

2016-12-05-18-14-19

Now I have added so many more stones to this grid. Each stone stands for a person, and their family line. Each stone has been chosen and held by me, as I say that person’s name and offer a prayer of dedication that all that no longer serves be cleared from their family line, returning their family to a place of love, flow and abundance. I have asked that this person find their path, and live the life that is their highest potential.

There are over 600 stones in the grid now. 600 people, radiating love and positive shift to so many more.

I will be adding more stones to this grid until 12pm on Tuesday 27th December, 2016. (That’s Sydney, Australia time) If you’d like to add your name, please let me know in the comments below.

If you’ve already asked there is no need to ask again. I have you.

There’s another way you can help. You can make your own grid. For details go to the Free Stuff section in my shop, and select the Ancestral Healing Grid Instructions. (And be aware that it may take an hour or so for the information to be emailed after selection of this option.) It’s easy to do, even if you’ve never done something like this before.

One of our readers, Anke Szillat, also asked if I could add a focus stone to the grid, so that you could focus on that crystal and pour your love into it, to be shared with all other beings as the grid radiates out its energies.

It was such a beautiful suggestion (Thank you, Anke!) so I reworked the grid yesterday to include a massive raw rose quartz crystal as our point of focus. If you think of that stone and send love and light to that stone, or perhaps energetically link that stone to a stone or grid of your own it will help to activate and anchor points of love and light all over the world.

You’ll see the big rose quartz in the photo above. The grid has already changed since we took these pictures, but I’ve been too busy programming and dedicating stones to upload any more yet. I promise to do so in the coming days, including pictures of the rocks I’ve chosen for each person in the grid (with pictures taken of smaller grids and your names added beneath. Check out my Cauldrons and Cupcakes page on Facebook or Instagram for more updates.)

Until the 27th I will add more stones to the grid. The stones will sit under the sky, and be supported by the sun, the moon and stars, the rain and the wind, the good earth and all of the ancient trees. It will be supported by my twice-daily meditations, and by your own thoughts, intentions, meditations and well-wishes.

On the evening of 29 December, 2016, at 8pm Sydney time I will sit in meditation with the grid, to open you up to your highest potential for this lifetime. In this meditation I will ask the Universe, your Guides and Ancestors to help you to find your songline (this is your own personal calling or highest purpose) and soul path in 2017. I will ask that you be given every guidance to help you to make the best choices for yourself and your highest good. I will ask that you be guided to do all that you came here to do, and to be all that you came here to be. I will sit in meditation and hold space for us, our planet, and our unfolding future.

Join me, from wherever you are, any time on the evening of 29 December if you feel to. I’d be so humbled and honoured to have your energy and intention in support with mine. Let’s be the change. Let’s anchor this positive new energy. Let’s create the shift in consciousness in ourselves, and in the healing of our lives, our families and communities.

Thank you, and much love, Nicole <3 xoxo

My Favourite Crystals For Spiritual Connection

2013-12-15 19.05.45

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
~ W.B. Yeats

Meditation, connecting with our guides, getting into a channelling space or spiritual flow, doing readings or healings, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, working with energy, astral travelling, improving our psychic and metaphysical abilities – all of these things can be made stronger and easier with the help of crystals.

Here are my favourite stones for connection, and how you can use them too.

Amethyst

A great all-rounder. Helps beginner psychics to tune in and trust. Helps advanced practitioners to deepen and strengthen their abilities. Perfect for helping you with ‘seeing and hearing’ all things metaphysical. Activates Crown and Third Eye chakras. Want to meet your guides? Use amethyst.

Labradorite

A stone for strengthening intuition and healing abilities, especially the ability to channel energy through your hands. Wakes up latent psychic abilities and taps you into past life memories clearly and easily. Helps you to bring through answers and guidance for self and others. A terrific stone for personal growth and reflection.

Clear Quartz

Opens the Crown Chakra, infuses you with white light, and enhances all of your natural psychic and intuitive abilities. Clear quartz will help show you who you are, what your gifts are, and how you can best use them. Can be used for all forms of metaphysical work. Brilliant for calming the mind and helping you expand your energy and tune in to messages. Accelerates spiritual growth. Not all stones will suit beginners (you may get a really bumpy ride that is uncomfortably fast!). A great stone to program and for all kinds of healing and grid work. A stunning meditation companion stone. Connects you into Higher Guides. Builds discipline and focus.

Orange or Golden Calcite

The perfect beginners stone for those who wish to channel information for themselves and others. Gentle energies to enhance clear communication with the higher realms. Helps calm mental chatter and strengthens trust in the messages and images you receive. Boosts creativity and intuition. An amazing stone for doing all forms of channelled writing and art.

Lapis Lazuli

This is THE stone for connecting into past lives, past life remembrance and the Akashic Records. Also good for astral travel and lucid dreaming. Not a beginners stone, but those who are attracted to lapis are never beginners anyway, even if they feel that way to start. Brings rapid remembering of your healing and psychic abilities. Helps change makers to bring about that change. Enhances the Throat-Heart-Crown Chakra connections and promotes clear speaking. Reduces stress and anxiety, helping you to accept that you are different and that you have a calling. A stone for those who want to dedicate their lives to some form of spiritual or higher service, including heart-centred entrepreneurs, leaders and business people.

Rhyolite

A delicious stone for connecting into off-world energies, and for all forms of channelled and automatic writing – especially writing with your Guides and Higher Self. Some rhyolites also aid connection to the fairy realms, to nature and nature spirits, to the oceans and cetaceans, and to trees. A soothing and grounding stone that holds much magic. Used in meditation it will help you to see energy, auras and to bring breakthroughs in your thoughts, behaviour patterns and healing. Stimulates creativity and innovation, including guided wisdoms that enhance your own abilities and knowledge.

Rose Quartz

This yummy stone nurtures us as it opens and activates our Heart and Crown chakras. This stone works from love, and helps all that you do to come from love. The perfect stone for connecting into your Guardian Angel, and the Angels of others, as well as to guides who come to work with us offering messages of love, hope and support. A terrific stone for children, and for beginners, but don’t underestimate its power. Every lightworker needs a rose quartz for nourishing and supporting their emotional and spiritual energies. A giving and teaching stone.

How to work with Crystals – a Four Day Exploration

Since I mentioned using crystals in the bath yesterday, I’ve had quite a lot of enquires about how to use crystals. This of course also makes Sokli, my fairy friend, very excited.

So, over the next four days we’re going to explore how to choose a crystal, how to take care of it, and how to use it in meditation or for healing work.

Crystals have energy fields, just like humans do. When we bring a crystal into our own aura or living space it begins to act on our energy, imparting some its qualities and energy to us. Even a tiny stone can hold a huge charge, and impact us in many positive ways.

Sometimes the crystals affect us because they are part of a natural land formation.

Byron Bay, in Australia, is a great example of a huge natural energetic field. It is an area ringed by ocean on one side, and an ancient weathered volcanic rim on the other.  That ancient volcano holds vast quantities of obsidian, a crystal known for its ability to bring about healing and change.

Activity – Choosing a crystal:

Today I want you to choose a stone that you can work with over the next few days. It doesn’t matter if you have never worked with crystals before! This is an easy process, and a great way to heighten your energetic sensitivity and spiritual connection.

The stone doesn’t need to be big, elaborate or expensive.  It just needs to be one you can hold in your hand. I have often found crystal shops on my travels – the picture below is of the weekend markets in Bangkok, Thailand, where I bought some wonderful treasures!

Never chosen a crystal before? Here’s some tips for selecting a stone for yourself:

  • Look at an array of stones.  Does one of them immediately catch your attention?  If so, pick it up and see how it feels for you. (I have often picked up a stone in a shop and then walked around with it in my hand without realising I still have it – then just can’t put it down again and have to take it home.)
  • Does a colour or shape draw you to it?
  • Is there one that initially repels you, but then keeps bringing you back for another look?
  • Does one stone or crystal seem brighter or more noticeable than the rest?
  • If you’re drawn to a group of crystals but you can’t make up your mind, shut your eyes while you hold your hand palm down over the top of the stones.  Does one feel warmer, can you feel the energy of any of them, does any of them make your hand tingle? Try this even if you don’t believe you are energetically sensitive.  You might be surprised!
  • Some people pick stones intellectually, by reading about what the stone does, or how it could help them.  That’s okay too.

It doesn’t matter if the stone is tumbled, in its raw unpolished state, or cut into a certain shape!

And finally, know that some stones find you! A friend may give you one.  You might find one on the beach or by a creek. I found this lovely one (see pic below) when I was walking home from my neighbours via crossing the river between our farms. This one is amethyst and agate – indigenous to our area.  It’s an incredibly warm and grounding stone, and I’ve used it a lot for heart-healing work.

So, pick your stone, and get ready.  Tomorrow we’re going to begin working with it.  Hooray!!! ♥
