Insight and Intuition – Monday Oracle 3 June 2019

“Intuition is seeing with the soul.”
~ Dean Koontz

Hello, Lovelies!

June brings energies of growth and transformation. This month you can build on existing situations, foundations and opportunities, further transforming your life through work and self-belief. You’ll start to see results, and your progress will become visible to others too. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Intuition brings us.

This is a huge week for psychic and spiritual insight. You’ll find yourself connected in flow. Ideas, realisations, understanding and direction will come easily this week. You’ll be able to access this relaxed state of knowing and flow by moving out of stress. Exercise and meditation is great for that, but so is taking a long soak in the tub, knitting or chopping vegetables for dinner. Inspiration may come in a daydream, a sudden flash of ‘knowing’, in a dream or as a thought or awareness that slowly rises to the top of your conscious mind. Journalling and using your oracle or tarot cards is another useful way to access this flow of information.

Inspiration heralds synchronicities, opportunities coming your way, and things unlocking so that progress can finally be made. It’s a week of positive energy and things going right for you.

This week is quite intense energy which will be problematic for some people because spiritually it means everyone will be a little more sensitive and little more perceptive than usual. That’s not a bad thing, it is simply something that needs to be managed if you know you are one of those more sensitive souls.

Supportive crystals this week?

Map Jasper helps you to concentrate, analyse and understand. It supports the adrenals and counteracts overthinking and intellectual exhaustion. (Can’t find Map Jasper? Use a combination of your favourite Jasper with Black Tourmaline.) Peach Moonstone (pictured) encourages self-care, soothes worry, raises vibration and stimulates your capacity to problem solve using both intuition and reason. Fire Agate gifts you courage to follow your spiritual path, and inspires you to grow beyond your current limits. It’s a stone to kindle your creative flame. Clear Quartz amplifies intuition and our ability to tune in to Universal and Personal Wisdom. Use it to get clear about what matters in your life!

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Frankincense and Neroli this week. Use Frankincense for focus, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. It will also help keep you grounded, even as you stay connected.

Use Neroli to help you move back to a place of contentment, confidence and happiness. It’s great to inhale directly, diffuse or add a drop to Heart Chakra, throat and inner wrists like perfume. A few drops added to your bath make for magical self-care. Don’t have Neroli? Try Wild Orange or Bergamot instead.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Wishing you a transformative and uplifting week of insights, awareness and increased intuition.

Lots of love, Nicole ❤ xx

PS: Monday’s oracle card, Intuition is from the Sacred Power Reading Cards by Anna Stark. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

Energies of March 2019

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.” ~ Steve Maraboli

Hello, Lovelies!

At the beginning of every month, I discuss the energies and gifts of the month ahead and how we can best use them to make our lives satisfying, meaningful and productive.

I also choose a card to support the energies of the month. The deck I am using this year is The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid, and March’s card is 2 of Fire.

March  is  a  month  where  you  can  expect  the  unexpected. Don’t panic. I don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s a month for all kinds of positive change, transformation and opportunity.

There’s  a  new  level  of trust  in  yourself  as  you  step  into  the  unknown. This trust will be underpinned by your intuition. It’s a month where you will begin to find your way!

Your  intuition  will  strengthen this  month  and  you’ll  be  more  tuned  in  to  your inner  guidance.

You’re  finally  in a  place  where  you  know  that  you  can  begin  something  without knowing  what the  outcome  will  be. Anywhere  where  you  are  out  of  alignment with  your  inner values  and  core  beliefs  will  become  mighty  uncomfortable  for you  in  March. Pay attention to that and use it as a compass for navigating your life and knowing what needs to be attended to or made over.

You’re  ready  for  change,  and  ready  to  live  a  more  authentic  life. You’ll  have  a need  to  feed  your  senses  with  music,  art,  theatre  and  the  creativity of  others. It’s  a  month  for  soaking  up  inspiration  and  then  turning  it  into  action.

March  challenges  you  to  bravely  move  in  new  directions.  Any  kind  of  forward movement  is  better  than  staying  stuck. Honour those feelings that show you where you’re stuck or needing change. You’ll find  that  your  creativity  is  a tangible  thing in March so create some art space or space for your favourite hobbies.

As you work with the energies of creation and growth you’ll find that inspiration just keeps on flowing.

You’ll  actively  seek  growth  and  innovation now. Some  of  the  best ideas of  your  life will  come  to  you  this  month.  Make  sure  that  you  write  them  down. Make  sure that  you  act  on  them.

It’s important  to  become  comfortable  with  being  a  beginner  in  March.  Too  often people  remain  tied  to  old  ways  of  doing  things  because  they  are  worried  about looking  foolish  or  making  mistakes  when  they  try  something  new.  But  the  only way  to  become  experienced  is  to  do  that  new  thing,  so  boldly  jump  in  and  just start!

By creating routines, systems, structures and processes in your life this month you’ll be creating an environment that supports change, innovation and continued improvement.

Best crystals this month?

Black and White Cats Eye(Spectrolite) and Fire Agate

Black and White Cats Eye(Spectrolite) enhances intuition and helps you to overcome fear of change. It opens you up to your inner knowing and helps you to see your best way forward.

Fire Agate (red, orange, black, grey and white) gifts you courage to follow your spiritual path, and inspires you to grow beyond your current limits. It’s a stone to kindle your creative flame.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Combine Basil and Bergamot Essential Oils for an uplifting and focusing diffuser blend this month.

Basil is a fabulous oil for motivation and for overcoming exhaustion and overwhelm. It will help with moving you to a place of emotional and spiritual renewal, and aids focus and concentration.

Bergamot’s complex citrus and floral aroma is one of the favourite ingredients in my French Earl Grey tea! As an essential oil Bergamot boosts optimism and confidence, and is relaxing and calming while maintaining energy levels.

Need an oil to enhance your creativity, and to help you move out of overwhelm or anxiety? Use Neroli this month by diluting and applying to your pulse points as a perfume or add it to your diffuser alone or with a couple of drops of Frankincense to bring back a sense of being grounded and connected.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Show me dem hands…

The next installment of my Kimberley Story

The night that I sat up by the campfire with Auntie I knew I was making choices. I knew I was making decisions that would affect the rest of my life. I just didn’t know what I was really getting into.  If I had, perhaps I may have chosen differently.

I’d endured a huge argument with my partner when I finally went back to our room. He couldn’t understand why I had spent so long sitting in the dirt with an old, barefoot aboriginal woman. I couldn’t explain it myself. It was the beginning of a distance between us that would eventually end the relationship.

Weeks went by, out in my remote corner of the Outback. After Auntie came to visit me I tried to shrug off the sense of foreboding and concentrate on my work, and on trying to be ‘normal’. I know she had asked me to come visit her up in her country, but I felt uncomfortable to go.

Soon though, she sent a delegation. One Saturday morning Little Auntie and Grandmother turned up at our Cattle Station; two old ladies chauffeured in the Aboriginal Stockman’s brother’s big old red truck.

The Stockman came and banged on my door. “Auntie send some women for you. She bin watching you. You come have tea with dem.” It was an order, rather than a request.

It was a quiet time – the weekend – and I had two days off. My partner was away, working. All I had been doing was lying on my bed, reading a book. I could hardly say no.

Little Aunty was one of the tiniest women I had ever seen. She was perhaps four feet tall, stooped and leathery, with fragile-looking wrists, impossibly thin legs and birdlike eyes. I can’t say how old she was.  Definitely in her seventies.  But she could have been in her eighties or even older.  It was hard to tell. And I was younger then, and not so observant of these things.

Grandmother was a stocky woman in her sixties, with a broad waist and hips, an ample bosum and a tremendous laugh. Her curly black hair was shot through with silver, and she spoke good English.  Little Aunty had no English at all.

I made a pot of strong tea, and at the Stockman’s request brought a tin of condensed milk and a plate of cake with me, and I met the women outside the dining room, where they had gathered some plastic chairs under a tree. It was just the three of us, sitting in the deep shade on a stinking hot day.

“Why are you here?” I asked.  “Did Auntie really send you?”

They both smiled and ignored me.

We ate some cake, and drank the tea, made thick and sweet with the condensed milk. Little Auntie smacked her lips together in appreciation, oblivious to the flies that crawled all over us. She hooked one finger and scooped a fly out of her tea and kept on drinking.

Finally Grandmother looked at me, all business. “Show me dem hands,” she said.

I held them out to her, and while Grandmother took my hands by the wrists Little Auntie scooped up some red dirt in her own hands and rubbed it vigorously into mine.

Then Little Auntie took my hands and held them loosely in her tiny ones.  She poured over them, pressing her thumb into the palm of my hand and the fleshy mound below my thumb. She turned them this way and that, tracing the lines with a grubby thumbnail. While she did this she made funny little clicking sounds with her tongue. The longer she held my hands the warmer they became.

“You feel dat?” Grandmother asked, coolly observing my every move.

“Yes,” I said. “My hands are hot.” But they weren’t simply hot, they were burning and tingling and it felt like ants were crawling all over them.

Grandmother just nodded. Then she made a small grass fire and placed some green gum leaves in it to make smoke.  The two old women passed my hands back and forth in the fragrant smoke. Little Auntie would sniff my hands and feel them, and then back they would go into the smoke. Finally she was satisfied.

Little Auntie’s eyes were glistening and happy with a kind of pure child-like joy. She said something that sounded like a curdled sigh. Grandmother laughed and then turned to me, smiling.

“You know dat ting in dem hands of yours?” Grandmother said. “It come from your grandmother, from your grandfather, from your people way way back. All dem ancestors. It in you now, dat power. In you forever. No give him back. Okay?”

I don’t know why, but my eyes filled up with tears. I felt the connection deep in my heart, and it made me feel so much less alone.

Behind us the station workers began to file in to the dining room for lunch. I flinched under their gaze, exposed and vulnerable. I didn’t want them to see what we had been doing. Even though it probably didn’t look like anything at all. But it was SOMETHING to me – something significant, something so unexpected and raw and wild and strong.

I longed to soar up into the sky. I craved to dive into the deepest ocean. But I sat on my chair in the shade, and asked if I could get these ladies some lunch or some more tea.

“No,” said Grandmother. “We walk a lil bit now. You come too.”

So I fetched my hat and my sunglasses and we went down to the river. Little Auntie found me a craggy raw agate, rimmed with bright carnelian, and pressed it into my hands, placing it between my palms and then squeezing my hands tight against the stone.

“Dat fella good for you. Good for dat magic,” said Grandmother.

It’s the first crystal I ever felt the energy of – and it remains one of my most treasured possessions.

That was the day my hands were activated. And Grandmother was right. I can’t turn the power off. I can’t give it back. And I don’t want to anymore, anyway…

Crystals for Highly Sensitive People

“Treating myself like a precious object makes me strong.” ~ Julia Cameron

I love working with crystals, and my gorgeous fairy companion Sokli is completely nuts for them. Because we’ve had such positive and strong reactions whenever we have blogged about being sensitive, we thought we might give you some suggestions for crystals to help you on your journey as sensitive souls.  These are stones I use often, and we hope you find them helpful too.

If you haven’t worked with crystals before and would like some ideas about how to do that, you can visit these posts for more information:

But if all you do is wear a crystal or stick one in your pocket that’s enough too.  Enjoy some crystal magic, and embrace your beautiful sensitive nature!

Love and Light,

Nicole and Sokli ♥ xoxo

PS – If you would like us (me and Sokli) to channel and make you a healing necklace using a combination of stones chosen especially for you, please let me know, via a comment below or send me a message through facebook. – Update: It’s fine to leave your name below, even though the list is getting a little longer.  This is a beautiful task for me to do while I am recuperating, and it gives me so much pleasure.  It may just take us a little longer to complete them all. Here’s our crystal suggestions…

Mookaite – Australian Jasper Mookaite is a gently shielding stone that helps us to think clearly and to break patterns of self criticism and negative thinking.  It aids us in looking for positive solutions to life’s dilemmas, and to embrace change. On a physical level it helps us to strengthen our immune and endocrine systems, and is especially useful for providing grounded, stable energy. Very nurturing and soothing for when you’re feeling depleted physically, emotionally, spiritually or all three!

mookaite

Black Tourmaline – This is my emergency go-to stone whenever I am scattered, ungrounded, shifting big ‘stuff’, or have had a big physical or psychic shock. I absolutely love Black Tourmaline, especially the rough form. It is so powerful but it feels gentle for sensitive souls like us.  Keeps you in your body, clears your head, rebalances your brain and helps the body eliminate physical and energetic toxins and impurities.  Cleanses the aura and opens and activates your Earth Star chakra which grounds you and anchors you into the Earth. Great to use four pieces in a grid, one at each corner of your bed, to promote sleep and to open you to heightened spiritual connection. Hold one in your hand and you’ll immediately feel the stabilising effects. An amazing stone.

black tourm

Larimar – also know as the Blue Stone of Atlantis.  Larimar is a gentle but strong stone for enhancing spiritual and psychic connection.  It helps to reduce anxiety around who we are, and to bring a sense of peace and self-acceptance into our lives.  Larimar facilitates self expression, creativity, healing and clear communication. It’s especially good for starseed souls and those who feel like they just don’t belong to humanity somehow. It also has strong connections into the oceans of the world, the Pleiadean star system, dolphins and whales, and aligns our energy fields with those of the earth.

larim

Pearls – Sokli assures me that ‘Pearls count, Nicole!’  She also tells me that ‘Men can wear pearls too!’ They are often overlooked as a crystal, and technically they are not a rock, but pearls have such a beautiful energy for sensitive souls. They are a great tool for protecting from and relieving emotional and psychic shock.  Pearls are nurturing for the emotions, they balance the heart chakra, reduce physical and all other forms of pain, and they gently help us to stay in our truth.  They also work on digestive and hormonal issues, reducing inflammation and bringing balance.  Pearls have been used to enhance fertility and to bring us back into natural sleep cycles.

Freshwater-Pearls-In-The-Mollusk

Fire Agate – A delicious form of Carnelian, this stone is perfect for those who suffer from adrenal fatigue, mental or physical exhaustion, chronic fatigue, ill health and sensitivities to foods or chemicals. It bolsters our energy, detoxifies the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies, and helps to boost and rebalance our hormones and digestion. It also dispels self-doubt and negativity, strengthening self-esteem, confidence and creativity.  We love this crystal!
