Boundaries and Bliss – Monday Oracle 17 December 2018

“Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high.”
― William Goldman, The Princess Bride

Hello, Lovelies!

December is a month for planning and dreaming, interspersed with fun, curiosity, friendship and celebration.  Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Rupunze lbrings us.

Rapunzel tells us that it’s time for some serious heart management this week. You’re the keeper of your heart, and you get to decide whether to open or close those gates.

For some of you that will mean setting clear boundaries and being able to say NO, especially in the lead up to Christmas. Tune in and work out how you feel. In fact, you probably already know but might not have been brave enough to honestly claim those feelings. Know that it’s okay if you need to turn down an invitation, decline to participate in something that goes against your values, rescind an offer, put limits on a relationship or situation, or let everyone else go and have fun while you stay home. Where might you need to put some walls up, lock the door, or set security at the entrance and restrict who gets in? Pull back from whatever doesn’t sit comfortably with you.

For some of you it will be time to throw the doors to your heart wide open. Rapunzel shows you that it’s time to take a chance on emotional connection – where it feels right and it aligns well. Of course you need discernment – hearts are tender and precious things – but goodness, this is the week for opening the doors to that heart of yours. Dive right into socialising or projects and places that light you up. Follow your Bliss!

It’s a beautiful week for connecting deeply with the people, places and events that enrich you and give you joy or comfort, but you need to decide what you most need – don’t let others dictate to you what they think might make you happy.

Rapunzel tasks you to be open to opportunity and possibility, but to honour your limits too.

Supportive crystals this week?

Petrified Wood promotes compassion, wonder, curiosity and benevolence. It is a stone for healing old hurts and allowing hope back into your heart. Amazonite helps you to live bravely and from your heart, especially in regard to your creative projects. It will boost self-confidence and self-worth. Snowflake Obsidian is a wonderful stone for any form of pattern-breaking, helping you to invite or invoke change. Rhodonite (pictured) is great for supporting you to follow your heart.

Helpful essential oils?

Rose Essential Oil is my choice this week. This sweet and uplifting oil inspires deep emotional connection and opens your heart chakra to love. It enhances your mood, helps to balance hormones, brings emotional healing and draws joy and peace into your life Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

If you can’t access a pure rose essential oil,  try Ylang-Ylang, Geranium or Magnolia.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

A space to learn and grow

The next four years 2019 – 2022 are significant for our personal and spiritual evolution, as well as for the evolution of our planet. I thought long and hard about the best way to support your growth over that time and have decided that beefing up the content in my YOM membership area was the best way to help you grow, adapt and step more fully into your authenticity and the life-path you chose for yourself pre-birth. You’ll see this membership group evolve into an Academy of Learning over the next twelve months so that my team and I (human and energetic) can serve you the best way I know how.

My membership space is a place where I can walk you through the year, explain all the aspects of the month ahead and the crystals we’ve chosen, where I do special webinars with my tribe to teach you new skills and share important information, and where I channel with my guides in live webinars, and answer your questions and provide general support. I often jump into our private Facebook group to pull cards and bring through messages for our members too. And did I mention what an incredible, loving and supportive space our YOM Community is? There is real friendship and belonging there. It’s a safe space, a heart space, and a place for great personal transformation. I totally heart it!

The format of YOM is constantly evolving. In 2019 you will have access to the foundation YOM online course as well as twelve free additional mini-courses and live events over the next year as well as our wonderful private Facebook group.

There are yearly subscription and monthly subscription options. Our Planner and a range of physical support materials and packs and online courses are available too. Everything you need is available through our store.

Want to experience our membership space and community? With every YOM Planner sold between now and December 25 I am offering you a one-month trial and a chance to win a full year’s membership. More details here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

PS: Monday’s oracle card, ‘Rupunzel’, is from the Inner Child Cards – A Fairy-Tale Tarot. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

My Magical Magnolia Owl Tree

“Have you ever looked at the bud of a magnolia flower? It’s a tight little pod that stays closed up for a long time on the end of its branch until one day, out of nowhere, it finally bursts open into this gigantic, gorgeous, fragrant flower that’s ten times bigger than the bud itself. It’s impossible to imagine that such a big beautiful thing could pop out of that tiny little bud. But it does.”
~  Joanna Gaines

We have a magnolia tree here at the farm that sits on a little mound of moss and soft grass in the back garden.

The tree is small, and right now it is covered in tiny furry buds that will open up to dinner-plate sized flowers that are so impossibly fragrant that I swoon for days over their beauty.

This magnolia is also a favourite night-time perch for owl visitors. I have never understood why they prefer this tree to others, except that the tree and the area around it have amazing energy and maybe the owls sense that too.

Right now I’m charging up a crystal grid under the magnolia. The stones have been there since January, soaking up the full moons and the lunar eclipse, the starlight and thunderstorms, the raging sun and the peaceful rain. They are almost buried in the soft thick grass now and scattered with leaves and fallen flowers.

Two more weeks and I’ll break the grid down, taking out some of the stones for the participants on my two retreats this year.

I know these stones will hold the energy of our farm, of the owls and the magpies and crows and fairy wrens and finches who have perched above or hopped through the stones too.

Our magnolia is also festooned with a harmonic wind-chime, and hand-crafted wooden owls and hearts – all gifts from dear and precious friends.

I’m feeling very peaceful this morning as I tend to the grid. I hope you can feel some of that peace too. Go gently today, and look after yourselves and each other,

All my love, Nicole  xx

Signs of Spring

Mock Orange from my garden

Down here in Australia (where our seasons are reversed from Europe and America), Spring is just around the corner, and already there are signs that she is close at hand.  As I lie in bed, or sit on my verandah, I inhale a heavenly bouquet, and it fills me with hope and renewal.

The heavy fragrance of mock orange (Philadelphus) floods the air.

There is a sweeter, lighter note, which is the flowering Meyer Lemon at my kitchen door.

The heady scent of Jasmine lingers strongly at the close of day…

The first bursts of sweet Jasmine

And my favourite springtime treat, the Magnolia’s rich fragrance, reaches far into the evening.

Mmmmm….. Magnolia!

Spring certainly seems to be spreading more energy than just perfume.  There is romance in the air too, all around my little farm.  So much to be grateful for. Hooray for Spring! ♥
