Hold True To Your Values This Week! – Monday Oracle 14 May 2018

“Because we always have a choice, even when it feels like we don’t.
~  A.C. Gaughen

Hello, Lovelies!

May is a month that empowers you to take the long view of your goals, and to make decisions and take actions that support those goals. We see that it is pointless to put ourselves under endless pressure. May supports sustainable action, and working towards our goals and dreams bit by bit, step by step.Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Guide of Swords brings us.

This week’s card draws heavily on the legend of Robin Hood who stole from the corrupt rich who were overtaxing society so that he could give the money back to the poor.

Guide of Swords reminds us to live from our values this week. Hold the higher ground. Stand up to bullies. Do what is fair and right and good. Live and lead by example. Be a lighthouse on a dark and stormy night, helping others to navigate safely. Don’t worry if the people around you don’t share the same views, or if they are behaving badly. Instead do all you can to live from a place of honesty, integrity and valour. These are old-fashioned virtues that still hold true even though they have fallen in popularity lately.

It’s a week where justice will be served, and the scales may tip in your favour if you have recently been wronged or unfairly treated. It’s a week for us to examine our position to determine if we could be doing more to support the causes that are dear to our hearts.

As we work towards our goals and plan our longer-term future this month we’re also being shown that sharing our success is important. Who can you help and how can you do that? Where can you make a positive difference in the world?

There is also a strong message within the Guide of Swords about the healing power of nature. If you’re overwhelmed by life go take a walk by the beach or through a forest, sit in the park at lunchtime, or spend time in your garden or with treasured pets. Nature helps us to come to a place of clarity, calm and wisdom. All we need to do is spend time there and find that connection back to our heart.

This week I’m loving Young Living’s Valor essential oil blend. It’s great for releasing old ways and old thinking, and for finding the courage to move in new directions. The fragrance of Valor is soothing and grounding and I find that it brings me instant calm when I am anxious or afraid. You can also use Young Living’s Peace and Calming Blend if you don’t have Valor at hand!)

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and reassuring pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using Valor or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am creating, writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself.

If you can’t access these oils then use Sandalwood, Ginger or Rosemary.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

Monday Oracle 16 April 2018

Gratitude for the seemingly insignificant—a seed—this plants the giant miracle.”
~ Ann Voskamp

Hello, Lovelies!

April is a month that brings a delicious flow of new ideas and inspiration. Your job is to honour this flow, making room for change in your life and for acting on these ideas and inspired thoughts. If you’ve lacked direction you’ll be glad to know that April gifts you sudden flashes of insight and clarity. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Four of Wands brings us.

I just love the message of this week’s card!

We’re reminded that tiny steps taken each day in the direction of our dreams will indeed help us to eventually achieve them. It doesn’t matter how small that step is, just as long as we are putting one foot in front of the other.

From the smallest and most humble of beginnings great things can grow. So it’s okay to start small. In fact that’s one of the best ways to start anything.

But don’t start from a place of chaos. If everything’s a mess take some time to clean things up first so that you can begin fresh and unfettered by old stuck energy.

Want to grow things faster? Think cooperation. Think finding a team. Think gathering support around you for your ideas, projects and dreams.

When we surround ourselves with people who believe in us or who are further along the path than we are we can grow ourselves as well as our dreams.

What dreams can you put some energy and love into for the week ahead?

A Week For Clarity – Monday Oracle 30 October 2017

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.
~ W.B. Yeats

Hello, Lovelies!

You’re going to LOVE the energies of this week. 😀

If you read my forecast for October, you’ll know that it’s a month of energies of love, friendship, community and togetherness. It’s also a month for getting creative and for self-acceptance. November, which is just around the corner is a month for knowing ourselves deeply, for healing old hurts and for prioritising and redesigning our lives so that they better represent the person we are and the person we want to become.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts which the oracle card Perception brings us.

So, what awareness does Perception bring us this week?

This week our hearts just know. We get it. We understand. Perception orients us to what we want, what we need, what we’re good at, and where to from here. Maybe you won’t get the whole picture yet, but you’ll get enough clarity to make a start and keep on going. The other bonus? With this clarity and understanding comes bravery, so that we can act on what we know.

It’s a week where we can begin to align ourselves with the things that reflect our values and interests. A week where we can begin to see how to use our gifts and talents in ways that make us happy and that give our lives meaning, or where we can be of service. This week we’ll also see where we are not happy, and what’s no longer working for us.

Perception is about tuning in and discovering or remembering what truly matters. It’s our hearts and souls connecting back in to our brains again. Use this week to journal and plan, to mind map, to talk things through, to pull some oracle cards to get clear, to get the advice you need, to create your action plan, to get started.

(Want to turbocharge your November with a fun and friendly way to get stuff done? Come join us for #GeSHiDoMo – Get Sh*t Done Month. More details here.)

Monday Oracle – October 16, 2017

Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.
~Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Hello, Lovelies!

If you read my forecast for October, you’ll know that it’s a month of energies of love, friendship, community and togetherness. It’s also a month for getting creative and for self-acceptance.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts which the oracle card Creation brings us.

So, what awareness does Creation bring us this week?

This week we’re reminded to honour what is precious to us creatively. It might be an artistic project or an entrepreneurial one. We might want to renovate a room, overhaul our wardrobe, remodel ourselves and our well-being, work on an existing idea or research a new one.

The energies of this week support deep diving with all creative work. It will be easier to focus, easier to give ourselves over to the flow of ideas. It’s a week for making, doing, creating, shaping, designing and constructing.

We’ll also find that clarity which has been eluding us. We’ll see where to put our focus, and what needs to be the priority.

Creativity is soul work, and this week you’ll feel that connection to your own heart and soul, as well as to a bigger creative energy. Call that inspiration, God, Universal Energy, Spirit or whatever else feels appropriate to you. Be open to those whispers and visions that guide you forward. Know that creating can become a calling.

Supportive crystals this week?

Orange Calcite is the bee’s knees this week. Use it to tune in to inspiration and to help those creative idea flow. It’s also a wonderful beginner stone for tuning in to the spiritual realms.  Red Jasper will keep you grounded, even as the ideas flow, and gift you stamina and resilience if you end up burning the candle at both ends. Fluorite helps us to be honest, objective and innovative with our creativity.  Green Aventurine moves us past old blockages and stuck thinking, tapping us into the joy of living and that wonderful feeling of gratitude.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Young Living’s Clarity and Believe blends for October. Use Clarity for focus, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. Use Believe when you are doubting yourself and want to find your confidence and self-belief. It’s great to inhale directly, diffuse or add a drop to Heart Chakra and inner wrists. A few drops added to your bath make for magical self-care.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed,  Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot for joy, gratitude and optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

The Energies of October – 2017

“This is how it works. I love the people in my life, and I do for my friends whatever they need me to do for them, again and again, as many times as is necessary. For example, in your case you always forgot who you are and how much you’re loved. So what I do for you as your friend is remind you who you are and tell you how much I love you. And this isn’t any kind of burden for me, because I love who you are very much. Every time I remind you, I get to remember with you, which is my pleasure.”
~  James Lecesne

Hello, Lovelies :)

Let’s do a Happy Dance – October is here and with it comes energies of love, friendship, community and togetherness. It’s also a month for getting creative and for self-acceptance.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for October for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It’s not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It’s encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way.”
~  Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder and Ajq’ij of the Eagle Clan

October heralds a deep need within us for more meaningful connection and joyful authentic expression, even as other aspects of our lives or the world give us pause or worry.

It’s the perfect month to find groups with whom you share interests, or to start a group or a tribe of your own! It’s a month for family, for friendship and for community. It’s a time for supporting each other, or for asking for support for yourself or people or projects dear to you.

October encourages you to accept yourself just as you are. To love yourself just as you are. It also reminds us to accept others as they are, in that same spirit of heart-centered generosity.

This is a month for coming together, for celebrating, for finding joy in the everyday and for embracing the roles of nature, arts and culture in our lives. If you are an artist, a gardener, a writer, a musician or any other kind of creative this is a magical month for you as inspiration visits and your ideas clarify. If you or your home need a makeover this is a fabulous month for that too.

Never stuck with your art (or even started) because you’re a perfectionist or you have to be the best or not bother? You can break out of that and reconnect with your heart through art just for yourself this month. Expressing yourself creatively is soul work. It’s healing. It’s joyful.

You might be amazed what you learn about yourself. Get to it! But remember to take plenty of time out to refill the well from which your inspiration springs.

The second card I’ve chosen is Yang. This speaks to the magic we can create when we honour our art, and as we put our creative offerings (art, music, ideas, business, healing, legacy) out into the world.

“Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you’re there.

It doesn’t matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that’s like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man who just cuts lawns and a real gardener is in the touching, he said. The lawn-cutter might just as well not have been there at all; the gardener will be there a lifetime.”
~  Ray Bradbury

In October, put energy into what matters to you, and to creating your vision and action plan for yourself, your art, your legacy or your business.

No matter what it is that you create or plan this month, put your whole heart into it. How to do that? Cut out the distractions so you can focus on being in the moment with whatever you are creating. Get stuff done, don’t just think about it or endlessly plan.

Use music, scent and motion to help lead you into that state where the creative magic happens.

Know that there is a place in the world for your offerings, and that this month supports you to dive deep into whatever that is.

Essential oils to support your journey?

I’m just loving Young Living’s Clarity and Believe blends for October.

Whatever your focus in October, remember to take time for yourself, to get enough sleep, and to spend some time in your Happy Place (whatever that is for you) and in the healing arms of nature.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo

Creative Breakthroughs Ahead! – Monday Oracle 7 August 2017

“If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself, tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches; for to the creator there is no poverty and no poor indifferent place.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Hello, Lovelies,

Has August got you humming yet? It’s a truly energising month! Here’s Monday’s oracle card, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Creation’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for August, you’ll remember that August brings an emerging energy of creativity, emotional healing and an abiding need for more balance in our lives.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts Creation brings us this week.

If you’ve had a project on the backburner, in the bottom drawer, mapped out on the backs of enveloped or tatty notebooks, or just floating around in your head, this is the week to restore it to life.

There’s inspiration in the air this week! In fact the air is ahum with fertility. (Great if you’re in the baby-making space, but if that’s not for you be extra cautious so as not to end up in the family way!) Expect new ideas, all manner of inspiration and unexpected connections to people and projects that will become increasingly important to you in the months ahead.

Always wanted to try your hand at writing, pottery, scrapbooking, baking, floral work, furniture restoration, chainsaw ice-sculpting? There’s no better time to sign up and begin.

It’s a blockbuster week for sorting out old problems and for breakthroughs that lead to permanent solutions. If you need to negotiate anything you’ll find this week’s energies conducive to cordial communication – there’s a spirit of openness and receptivity, even in those who usually don’t dwell there.

New ideas? This week they’ll come to you with meat on their bones instead of flimsy things you have no clue about what to do next with. Think J.K. Rowling and her initial Harry Potter inspiration…

Finally, it’s a week of heightened ESP. If you’re intuitive, empathic or energetically sensitive expect deeper connection in your meditations and spiritual practices. A wonderful week for all forms of giving and receiving energy work, readings and healings. Even people who don’t consider themselves intuitive will find a greater flow of wisdom and certainty this week.

Supportive crystals this week?

Nephrite Jade (Greenstone) is a stone that supports heart-centred living and emotional expression in life and in art. Carnelian energises and grounds the physical body and aids all forms of healing and creativity. Great for overcoming exhaustion and burnout. Orange Calcite for flow of creative ideas and for connected inspiration. Pearls for softening and opening our hearts to our art and true direction!

Helpful essential oils?

Sokli gave me this recipe ages ago. She calls it the Lucky Happy Magic Recipe and I find it marvellous for enhancing and supporting creativity. You’ll need Lavender 2 drops, Orange 4 drops, Ylang Ylang 4 drops, Sandalwood 3 drops. This recipe is one of my favourite essential oil blends to put in a diffuser or as a perfume or bath oil. I make up a little bottle of the mix and then I can add it to my bath or take it with me to inhale or wear. Always dilute in a little carrier oil before applying to skin, and remember that citrus oil should not be applied to any skin that will be in sunlight.

I choose to use Young Living essential oils because of their quality and energies. You can find all the oils here.

This week keep yourself open to possibility and make some time for creativity and inspiration – whatever that looks like for you. Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

My Favourite Crystals For Spiritual Connection

2013-12-15 19.05.45

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
~ W.B. Yeats

Meditation, connecting with our guides, getting into a channelling space or spiritual flow, doing readings or healings, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, working with energy, astral travelling, improving our psychic and metaphysical abilities – all of these things can be made stronger and easier with the help of crystals.

Here are my favourite stones for connection, and how you can use them too.

Amethyst

A great all-rounder. Helps beginner psychics to tune in and trust. Helps advanced practitioners to deepen and strengthen their abilities. Perfect for helping you with ‘seeing and hearing’ all things metaphysical. Activates Crown and Third Eye chakras. Want to meet your guides? Use amethyst.

Labradorite

A stone for strengthening intuition and healing abilities, especially the ability to channel energy through your hands. Wakes up latent psychic abilities and taps you into past life memories clearly and easily. Helps you to bring through answers and guidance for self and others. A terrific stone for personal growth and reflection.

Clear Quartz

Opens the Crown Chakra, infuses you with white light, and enhances all of your natural psychic and intuitive abilities. Clear quartz will help show you who you are, what your gifts are, and how you can best use them. Can be used for all forms of metaphysical work. Brilliant for calming the mind and helping you expand your energy and tune in to messages. Accelerates spiritual growth. Not all stones will suit beginners (you may get a really bumpy ride that is uncomfortably fast!). A great stone to program and for all kinds of healing and grid work. A stunning meditation companion stone. Connects you into Higher Guides. Builds discipline and focus.

Orange or Golden Calcite

The perfect beginners stone for those who wish to channel information for themselves and others. Gentle energies to enhance clear communication with the higher realms. Helps calm mental chatter and strengthens trust in the messages and images you receive. Boosts creativity and intuition. An amazing stone for doing all forms of channelled writing and art.

Lapis Lazuli

This is THE stone for connecting into past lives, past life remembrance and the Akashic Records. Also good for astral travel and lucid dreaming. Not a beginners stone, but those who are attracted to lapis are never beginners anyway, even if they feel that way to start. Brings rapid remembering of your healing and psychic abilities. Helps change makers to bring about that change. Enhances the Throat-Heart-Crown Chakra connections and promotes clear speaking. Reduces stress and anxiety, helping you to accept that you are different and that you have a calling. A stone for those who want to dedicate their lives to some form of spiritual or higher service, including heart-centred entrepreneurs, leaders and business people.

Rhyolite

A delicious stone for connecting into off-world energies, and for all forms of channelled and automatic writing – especially writing with your Guides and Higher Self. Some rhyolites also aid connection to the fairy realms, to nature and nature spirits, to the oceans and cetaceans, and to trees. A soothing and grounding stone that holds much magic. Used in meditation it will help you to see energy, auras and to bring breakthroughs in your thoughts, behaviour patterns and healing. Stimulates creativity and innovation, including guided wisdoms that enhance your own abilities and knowledge.

Rose Quartz

This yummy stone nurtures us as it opens and activates our Heart and Crown chakras. This stone works from love, and helps all that you do to come from love. The perfect stone for connecting into your Guardian Angel, and the Angels of others, as well as to guides who come to work with us offering messages of love, hope and support. A terrific stone for children, and for beginners, but don’t underestimate its power. Every lightworker needs a rose quartz for nourishing and supporting their emotional and spiritual energies. A giving and teaching stone.
