Are you feeling called to explore your Spiritual and Intuitive side?

“Spirituality is not adopting more beliefs and assumptions but uncovering the best in you.”
~  Amit Ray

“Your soul knows the geography of your destiny. Your soul alone has the map of your future, therefore you can trust this indirect, oblique side of yourself. If you do, it will take you where you need to go, but more important it will teach you a kindness of rhythm in your journey.”
~ John O’Donohue

Byron Bay Residential Retreat – 6 to 11 March 2018

Ever wondered what it means to be spiritual? Curious about spirituality but have no idea where to start?  You’ve recently discovered Angels and oracle cards but don’t know what that means or what to do next?  Stuck in life?  Wondering why you are here?  Think you might be psychic but aren’t sure?  Had a love of spiritual practice, but feel like you’ve lost your way?  Are in need of some nurturing and guidance? Feel like you are going through some kind of psychic or spiritual awakening?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then we have just the course for you!

Join us as we begin our journey in this new energetic age. The old ways are slow ways, and no longer well suited to the quickening energies of this dawning era. You will have felt the turbulence and quickening of these Universal energies. You’ll feel a resonance and a readiness for this next stage, and for being an important part of the process which will unfold this new era. You will be ready to walk a more spiritual path, and to find the comfort this connection brings.

This Retreat will tune you up to these new energies, and actively accelerate your personal and spiritual development. During our time together I will be immersing you in a spiritual and energetic world where you will connect with your own gifts, and be given exercises and activities for your current level of ability, and which are tailored to your specific energetic skillset. There will be time on this retreat for you to seek clarification and guidance with me too, about your spiritual practice, your next steps in life, and your path of service to others.

My retreats are much more than just a learning environment.  They are a safe place for your Soul to evolve.  They are a coming together of like-minded people for sharing and connection, and they are a journey that will accelerate your understanding of and love for yourself and your place in the world.

What Previous Participants Have Said:

‘Words can not express how amazing Nicole Cody retreats are. They really do have to be experienced. This changed my life and I really appreciate the time and effort that Nicole and Dana PA put in. So much wisdom and love surrounds Nicole – I took advantage of the payment plan – so I would highly recommend going along. I made so many lovely friends and had many breakthroughs.’ – Amanda C.

If anybody is on the fence and wondering if they can actually invest money 💰 in themselves to do this retreat 🌈 I have to tell you what ever it takes if this retreat is calling you do the things you need to to make it happen 🌸 I have attended 3 of Nicole’s courses since I discovered her blog 💫And yes life changing 🦋
I have also met so many wonderful people and you will hear the phrase “finding my tribe” thrown around a lot 🌿
You will never regret going to Beautiful Byron for a life challenging and changing experience 🌷 – Beka L

I’ll second those sentiments too. I went on a retreat 2 years ago and was so anxious but once I got there and met everyone, I was made to feel really welcome and cherished. Nothing was too much trouble and when I was ” stuck” there was plenty of support from some wonderful people. (Plus the food was awesome) – Mary P

And from my wonderful PA, Dana:

If you have ever wanted to attend a retreat with Nicole but felt you weren’t experienced enough, or that the retreat sounded a bit scary (because channelling and other things we do aren’t for everyone!), then our March “Spiritual Awakening” retreat is perfect for you! It is a very gentle beginners retreat. I cannot put into words how well Nicole, her guides, the food and the environment will nurture and support you.
As booking forms have started to come in, I also wanted to remind you that we can work out a payment plan for you based on what works for you. Unfortunately our suppliers are putting up their prices, so this is the last time we’ll be able to offer this retreat at this price. So please don’t let money be the reason why you don’t join us. Places are starting to fill, so get in touch before we sell out!
Love and hugs to you all, Dana

The Energies of November – 2017

“…the whole ‘know thyself’ thing isn’t a journey to a fixed destination. Learning about myself changes me, forcing me to learn more. ‘Know thyself’ isn’t a goal; it’s a road.”
~  Garon Whited

Hello, Lovelies :)

Here we are at November. Energetically it’s a month for knowing ourselves deeply, for healing old hurts and for prioritising and redesigning our lives so that they better represent the person we are and the person we want to become.

That’s important work at any time, but it becomes all the more significant as we realise that the work we do in November is setting us up for the year ahead. The actions we take, the choices we make, and the healing, planning and dreaming we do clears the way for 2018, allowing us to consciously begin manifesting the kind of year we intend for ourselves.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for November for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“Have no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.”
Salvador Dalí

November invites you to embrace your faults, and to see your individuality as a good thing. There is no point in trying to conform and losing yourself in the process. Your authority and integrity come from that place inside you where you can be vulnerable and honest – where we get the real you and not some slick marketing promise, or you trying desperately hard to be someone that you’re not.

What you love, who you love and what makes you happy is what’s important. Not what other people think. Not what other people may try to impose upon you. Embrace the yearnings of your heart this month. Stop fighting them and surrender instead. Make your life suit you and support you. Wear clothe that express your personal style, listen to the music you love, rearrange your home and your routines so that what matters to you is better represented.  You’ll be glad you did.

November is an excellent month for healing the hurts and low-self-worth issues that stem from the bullying or judgments of others directed at you as a child, or through your adult years until now. November teaches us where to stand strong, and where we will be better with some flexibility in our lives. We get to define or redefine our priorities. Much of this can happen on its own as you experience emotional shift, but if you know this is a major issue for you seek professional support and get the help you need to move on.

When you live authentically, magic happens. You become magnetic to the right lover, the best fit with friends, the opportunities that actually suit your talents and abilities. November encourages you to move from a limited or stuck version of yourself, or a small version of yourself, to one that is vibrant with your true colours, and full of kindness and possibility.

The second card I’ve chosen is Mending. It’s a time for co-operation, forgiveness, shared vision and tending our dreams.

“Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey. At other times, it is allowing another to take yours.” Vera Nazarian

In November our self-worth and confidence grow, for no apparent reason except that enough time has been lost in the mistaken belief that we are somehow not enough.

We are supported to acknowledge and accept that there are people in our lives who once hurt us but who have changed, and we see where we may reconnect or mend relationships, letting the past drop away behind us. The blinds fall from our eyes and we also see the relationships and situations that are damaging to our well-being, no matter how positively these things may be viewed by people looking in on our lives. We come to see what is good for us, and what is poison. We’ll see where we need to act, ending or redeeming relationships. We’ll see where we need to forgive ourselves or ask for forgiveness.

In all areas of our life Mending encourages us to repair, improve, make-over and heal ourselves where our life is no longer pleasing or functional. We are shown that it is up to us to choose joy, and to craft a life for ourselves that has beauty and meaning.

It’s a fabulous month for planning, and for all forms of self-improvement. We’re invited to put energy into the things that are dear to us and to work together on projects and dreams.

Best crystals this month?

Green Aventurine and Iolite.

Green Aventurine helps us connect to joy, optimism and self-confidence.It fosters self-love and gratitude for ourselves

Image from http://www.gemstonebuzz.com

Iolite is a mystical stone that helps us to illuminate what’s hidden within ourselves. A stone for self-exploration and for helping us to find our way.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Young Living’s Acceptance and Joy essential oil blends would be my picks for November. Use Acceptance for emotional healing – diffusing anger and pain, ending procrastination and opening to new directions and opportunities. Joy opens our hearts and helps us to re-engage with the flow of life. It is uplifting, comforting and empowering. Dab a drop of either oil on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they’ll also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Vetiver will calm and ground us, promoting emotional balance, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed,  Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot for joy, gratitude and optimism.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Need some extra encouragement, support or inspiration for November or the year ahead?

I have lots of ideas and events that can help you!

  1. If you jump over to my Cauldrons and Cupcakes Facebook page at 9am Brisbane time today I’m doing a Facebook Live Event to tell you more about the month ahead. It’s totally free and I’d love to see you there. Can’t make it then? Don’t worry. You can catch the replay!
  2. I’ve created a free Guided Meditation to help you release the pain from childhood and from bullying events in your life until now. That will be in my blog post tomorrow – November 2. All you need to do is come visit my blog to access it, or if you subscribe to my blog (link on home page) it will get delivered straight to your inbox.
  3. #GeSHiDoMo 2017 – (Which stands for Get Sh*t Done Month 2017) This crazy November-long online program and community costs just $22 Australian dollars and it begins today! We ran this last year as a one-of thing but had so many requests to do it again that we’ve made it an annual event. I’ve created a simple system for planning and actioning your To-Do List in November. It’s a month of fun activities and support to help you get a serious amount of sh*t or a serious amount of self-care done. Lots of videos to help you, and Facebook Live sessions with me. There are some great prizes, and a really good bunch of people there. You’ll love it! You can read more about it and come join us from here.
  4. Soul Sanctuary Retreat – Working With Crystals – Do you need some time for recharging, reconnecting and being re-inspired? In late November I’ll be running my final residential retreat for 2017 in beautiful Byron Bay, Australia. It’s a special time of year for my team and I. We plan this retreat, no matter what the content focus might be, as a week of Soul Sanctuary – time for self-nurture, friendship, reflection, planning and the foundation of some truly life-changing habits. This year’s theme is ‘Working With Crystals’. I’ll be teaching you foundation skills for meditation and self-care, intuitive practices including card readings, a bunch of stuff on how to choose and use crystals, as well as lovely crafty stuff like making your own crystal tools, essences, jewellery and mandalas. We’ll also be using November’s energies to plan for 2018. 2018’s heart-centred energies support connection, collaboration, communication and community. It will be a year for expressing ourselves in the world, for starting and growing life-changing projects, for truly becoming more and offering more of our gifts, talents and wisdom. This Retreat will help you to understand the energies and opportunities of 2018, and get you started with a plan, a full spiritual tool-kit and a personal session with me, focusing on how to make the most of the year ahead. More info here. We still have a few places left, but please act quickly.
  5. And save the dates for the following goodness:
My Christmas Pop-Up Shop, Official 2018 Planner Launch, Channelling evening and workshops (Vision Board for 2018 and Intuitive Oracle/Tarot Card Reading Class) happen on 15 and 16 of December in Brisbane.
Our next Year of ME (ME stands for Manifesting Energies!) year-long membership group with online course, webinars with me, facebook live events and a superbly supportive and caring community launches in early December. More details soon.

I love this time of year. Come hang out with me and let’s share the adventure together.

Biggest love and hugs, Nicole ❤ xoxo

We’re On Retreat!

“God is all that exists. Every stone, flower, tree, animal and human being are on a spiritual journey to recognize their true self, their divine essence.”
~  Swami Dhyan Giten

Today we move into our week-long meditation retreat.

It’s a time to go within. A time of discovery, connection and revelation.

A gift to ourselves of peace and spaciousness –  a gift of solitude and reflection in our otherwise busy lives.

Next week I’ll share some simple activities you can do at home to make the most of these energies that are so supportive of us as we journey within. And I’ll hold you all in meditation as I work with this group, including you in our soul work.

Sending much love your way,

Nicole  xoxo

Love and Devotion Look Like This

“Rather than remain a sealed jar, she sought only to pour herself out to others. Everything she did mirrored her faith. It was as though every waking hour of the day she was devoted to pleasing her God by serving others. This God that she worshiped consumed her. It didn’t ask for a brief visit to a temple, or a small votive offering of food or coin, or a few prayers every now and then. This God wanted all of her.”
~  Francine Rivers

I don’t prepare for retreats the way that many other people do.

My priorities are different.

I am not thinking about funnels, or marketing, or what my hook is. I’m not calculating break-evens or what to sell you next.

No.

I am thinking about your soul. I am creating and holding space for you. I am placing you on a mala that I make with my own hands – choosing a bead for you, on which I will pray and meditate twice a day. I am choosing and preparing crystals for you, cleansing them and channelling their purpose and energies. I walk our rural property, creating grids of stones among the trees, or choosing stones from previous grids, some of them from years ago, but whose energies are important for the work we will do together. I am ensuring that your tools will best support you and your growth. I am honouring your spiritual journey. I am preparing the materials. I am crafting your experience. I am devoting myself to the journey, and to taking you with me to a place of transformation.

There are endless hours spent in this crafting, before we even come together. During our retreat I am yours. I pour myself entirely into the process. And I continue to do so once our event is over and you are navigating your way back into the wider world again. It is an honour and a great responsibility to be entrusted with your care.

Long after we part I will still be praying and meditating for you, sending you energy, wishing you well, night-flying to visit you and keep company a while.

I can’t do it any other way. I must give my whole self to this.

This is what it is to follow your heart, to follow a calling, to live with devotion.

I’m so grateful for this life,

Nicole  xoxo

“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart.

We’re on retreat for the next six days…

I always choose my dates carefully, years in advance. (In fact, truth be told, I have retreats booked until 2025!) to coincide with favourable astrological events that will support my students as they work with a particular aspect of their personal or spiritual development.

These energies are also available to you!

This particular retreat is my Accelerated Channeling retreat. It’s a powerful time for connecting to your own inner wisdom, to your guides, and to the Universal Energies around us that can help us with decisions, healing, innovations and breakthroughs.

My course will be an intensive, and the work we will be doing will be at a very advanced level, but the energies that are supporting us in this work will also support you.

So, I was thinking that perhaps some of you might like to work alongside us over the next few days, through some simple guided meditations and journaling activities suited to a beginner level. (It will still work for you if you are more advanced, I promise!).

Our primary time for making psychic and spiritual connection will be this weekend, and then the following days will be about using those connections to find answers and insights for ourselves and others.

From tomorrow I will post some simple guided meditations and questions or prompts for you.

You’ll also need to do just a little preparation beforehand. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A crystal or stone you can hold comfortably in your hand
  • A journal
  • Some pens and pencils
  • A deck of your favourite oracle or tarot cards that you have chosen just because you love their pictures.
  • A little time set aside just for you

See you tomorrow!

Much love,

Nicole xx

Storm Clouds and Other Magical Things

retreat

“When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
~ Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore

As I finished my meditation this morning, sitting on the veranda overlooking the ocean, a lightning storm began. There was no thunder. The whole thing unfolded in the predawn silence. Great purple clouds hung over the ocean, lit from within with flashing ribbons of light.

I wondered who else might be awake to see the theatre of that moment, before I realised the storm was just for me.

A long time ago, when I lived in the Kimberley, my Aboriginal Aunties taught me that the landscape is a teacher – that it holds messages for you, if only you can be still and pay attention.

So I sat and watched the storm, and the slow creep of dawn. I took a short walk as everyone else slept, feeling the communion of trees, the companionship of the waning quarter moon, the fellowship of the many birds singing their morning song.

My heart was breaking and flowing over with love all at once.

We live firmly set within the midst of magic.

As dawn broke the clouds lit with pink and gold. The storm moved further out to sea, leaving behind the clean, soft beginning of today.

I have had little sleep, but I feel renewed.

There will be magic within the walls of my hall today. Magic for the participants of my retreat. I can feel it in the air.

I’m holding you in my heart, and sending you love and bright sparks of possibility.

What magic is around you right now? What messages?

Be open to good things. Know that you are in this life for a reason.

Much love, Nicole xx

Up Early With Ganesha

2014-09-13 06.04.12

“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.”
~ Meister Eckhart

This morning, as ever, I was up early. I took my mala beads, my singing bowl, and my prayer shawl and snuck out onto the veranda to meditate and greet the dawn. Today I sat with Ganesha. Buddha, by his side. A possum banged its way along my roof as he came home from a night of marauding. Owls called to me from the trees. I played to them with my bowl, long chimes that rang out into the darkness.

2012-01-01 00.00.28

Eventually, I sat in silence, cross-legged on the daybed, facing out towards the dawn. I prayed this mala for the last time before it shall know the students it represents – one for each crystal bead. For the past month I have prayed this mala in meditation twice a day, for two hours. Each bead for me has been a student. This is Dana, I say as my fingers find her bead. This is Tracy. This is Phil. I hold them in my thoughts. I pray for them. I connect to them and check in on them – see how they are doing. Send them healing. It’s a Tibetan tool I use, but the techniques are purely what was shown to me by my Aboriginal Aunties. My spiritual life is a melting pot of philosophies and practices.

2014-09-13 06.02.57

Now it is morning. Fragranced with jasmine and magnolia from my garden. I shall shower and dress, have breakfast with my husband, retrieve my last crystals from where they have been charging under the Hoop Pine, pack the ute and head to Sangsurya to begin our retreat. It’s a beautiful day for it. A gentle dawn. Bright sky. Birds singing. Not all of you shall be there, but I will be holding all of you in my heart.

Bless xx

Are You Giving Yourself Space To Heal?

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” ~John Lubbock, The Use Of Life

I’m on a fairly savage regime of drugs and herbs for my Lyme disease just now. Both the treatment and the illness place a burden upon my body, and so doing what I can to support healing and detoxification is paramount.

To cope, I’d developed quite a routine, actively including everything I could to detox myself. The routine itself was exhausting, and I was earnestly looking for whatever else I might add to make the process even better. Did I mention I’m in a hurry to heal?

As I was lying on a treatment bed with needles protruding from me, and a smoking box burning on my belly, I asked my acupuncturist for his advice. What was I already doing, he asked me. Dutifully I rattled off my long list, feeling rather proud of myself.

He paused for a few minutes, feeling my pulses, tweaking a needle or two. He was quiet. Thoughtful.

Do less, he said.

Image from Full Her Life

Image from Full Her Life

Less? That threw me. Shouldn’t I be doing EVERYTHING I can to get better?

No, he said. Being so busy, so consumed with wellness, puts a stress upon the body too. I had made healing a job. Withdraw a little, he said. Read a book. Have a nap. Sit quietly in the sun. Make things easier for yourself.

He’s right, of course. Sometimes we think that doing all we can is better, when really, less is more. Healing happens in the quiet spaces, the down time, the growing sense of ease.

How about you? Are you giving yourself space to heal? Maybe you’d be better off having an early night, a slow weekend, a simple diet, more rest.

Here’s to wellness and balance in our lives. Be kind to yourself this week. Bless xoxo
