Insight and Intuition – Monday Oracle 3 June 2019

“Intuition is seeing with the soul.”
~ Dean Koontz

Hello, Lovelies!

June brings energies of growth and transformation. This month you can build on existing situations, foundations and opportunities, further transforming your life through work and self-belief. You’ll start to see results, and your progress will become visible to others too. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Intuition brings us.

This is a huge week for psychic and spiritual insight. You’ll find yourself connected in flow. Ideas, realisations, understanding and direction will come easily this week. You’ll be able to access this relaxed state of knowing and flow by moving out of stress. Exercise and meditation is great for that, but so is taking a long soak in the tub, knitting or chopping vegetables for dinner. Inspiration may come in a daydream, a sudden flash of ‘knowing’, in a dream or as a thought or awareness that slowly rises to the top of your conscious mind. Journalling and using your oracle or tarot cards is another useful way to access this flow of information.

Inspiration heralds synchronicities, opportunities coming your way, and things unlocking so that progress can finally be made. It’s a week of positive energy and things going right for you.

This week is quite intense energy which will be problematic for some people because spiritually it means everyone will be a little more sensitive and little more perceptive than usual. That’s not a bad thing, it is simply something that needs to be managed if you know you are one of those more sensitive souls.

Supportive crystals this week?

Map Jasper helps you to concentrate, analyse and understand. It supports the adrenals and counteracts overthinking and intellectual exhaustion. (Can’t find Map Jasper? Use a combination of your favourite Jasper with Black Tourmaline.) Peach Moonstone (pictured) encourages self-care, soothes worry, raises vibration and stimulates your capacity to problem solve using both intuition and reason. Fire Agate gifts you courage to follow your spiritual path, and inspires you to grow beyond your current limits. It’s a stone to kindle your creative flame. Clear Quartz amplifies intuition and our ability to tune in to Universal and Personal Wisdom. Use it to get clear about what matters in your life!

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Frankincense and Neroli this week. Use Frankincense for focus, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. It will also help keep you grounded, even as you stay connected.

Use Neroli to help you move back to a place of contentment, confidence and happiness. It’s great to inhale directly, diffuse or add a drop to Heart Chakra, throat and inner wrists like perfume. A few drops added to your bath make for magical self-care. Don’t have Neroli? Try Wild Orange or Bergamot instead.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Wishing you a transformative and uplifting week of insights, awareness and increased intuition.

Lots of love, Nicole ❤ xx

PS: Monday’s oracle card, Intuition is from the Sacred Power Reading Cards by Anna Stark. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

Rest And Find Your Center – Monday Oracle 27 May 2019

“Activity and rest are two vital aspects of life. To find a balance in them is a skill in itself. Wisdom is knowing when to have rest, when to have activity, and how much of each to have. Finding them in each other – activity in rest and rest in activity – is the ultimate freedom.”
~ Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Hello, Lovelies!

Here we are in the final days of May. May has been such a breakthrough month – it’s been a time for positive progress, big leaps forward and fine-tuning of your self-awareness. Lots of lightbulb moments, dramatic shifts and realisations and the odd bit of pattern breaking. So I know you’ll appreciate the energies and gifts of inspiration which the card Rest brings us this week.

Rest is about you recognising it is important to find that balance between sustainability and momentum. Nothing can burn bright endlessly. Everything needs replenishment. So what nourishes and replenishes you?

It’s easy to think of food and exercise as nourishment. They are, but we are also soulful creatures with hungry minds and searching souls. Our souls have their own appetites. Maybe you need to go watch a football game and revel in being part of the larger crowd. Perhaps live music will fill you up, or a wine and cheese tasting at your local cellars. An early-morning surf could be your thing, or a picnic with family or friends, or an intimate date with your beloved. How long has it been since you read a book, listened to the birds in the backyard, visited a new restaurant or attended a workshop about something that interests you?

Rest is also about trying to work out how to incorporate rest into your every day, rest into your week or your weekend or your month. It’s about you thinking about longer holidays. Can you find a work/life rhythm that works for you? Can you start work earlier and finish earlier, or give yourself a later start one day a week? Can you clear one day on your weekend to simply relax and have time for yourself? Can you put the kids in care one afternoon a week to create a window of time just for you?

The messages and wisdom of Rest help you to become mindful about creating sustainability in your life so that you don’t burn out.

Supportive crystals this week?

Pyrite provides passion, power and protection. It builds determination and self-belief.  Dalmatian Jasper helps you move forward, living in mindfulness. It releases stress and amplifies joy. Rose Quartz (pictured) is a stone of love and nurture – it helps you to be open to the giving and receiving of love. Yellow Obsidian is a gently shielding stone that helps you to think clearly and to break patterns of self-criticism and negative thinking. It aids in looking for positive solutions to life’s dilemmas and for embracing change.

Helpful essential oils?

This week look to create a nurturing blend from any or all of the following oils:
Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed, Neroli invites optimism and a sense of safety, Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition while keeping us grounded and Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or exhausted. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your diffuser.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

Choosing your Daily Oracle Card:

Use your favourite oracle or tarot deck to give you some intuitive guidance. If you don’t have access to a deck, the following web pages will allow you to choose a daily oracle card online:

Online Oracle Cards:

Colette Baron Reid’s Oracles – choose a deck, and then choose your card

Doreen Virtue’s Oracles – scroll down to the part of the page that says ‘Get your Reading’ and then choose the Simple Reading one card option

Take a favourite stone or crystal, and complete this short guided meditation:

Hold your stone in your cupped hands, close your eyes, and slow your breathing. Bring white light into your body until you feel peaceful and calm. Then bring white light into the crystal too. Allow yourself to connect to the stone. You may feel it tingle, or visualise a colour in your mind’s eye. When you are ready, open your eyes. Keep your stone near you, and hold it when you write.

Choose the question below that corresponds to the chakra you have chosen:

  1. Green – Heart – How can I use my ability to love, care and support in the world?
  2. Yellow – Solar Plexus – How can I use what I know to guide or lead others?
  3. Purple – Third Eye – How can I use my imagination or skills as a visionary in positive ways?
  4. Red – Base – How can I help others to build a strong foundation?
  5. White – Crown – How can best I use my intuitive wisdom and my problem-solving ability in service to others?
  6. Sky Blue – Throat – How can I best use my gift for expression and communication to bring clarity, justice or joy?
  7. Orange – Sacral Chakra – Which creative idea or project is best for me to work on right now?

Now shuffle your cards, thinking about the colour and chakra you have chosen today. Silently ask the question to yourself that corresponds to the chakra you have chosen.

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select just one card. How you choose that card is up to you. You can split the deck. You could take the top or bottom card. You could fan the cards out and take one from the array.

Place the card face up in front of you.

Clear your mind by closing your eyes and taking one deep breath in and then out. Open your eyes again. Take a minute and look at the picture on the oracle or tarot card.

What stands out for you? Is it an image or a colour? Is it a number or a word? What are your first impressions?

Write these down in your journal.

Now let’s go a little deeper. What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to your question. Take five minutes and just write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process.

Finally, read back over what you have written.

Expect that more insights may come up for you during the day. Write anything important down in your journal so that you can continue to reflect upon it.

See you tomorrow! Lots of love, Nicole xx

Mini Online Chakra Wisdoms Retreat – Day 1

“It’s more than ok to say no to the people and places that harm your peace.”
~ Nikki Rowe

Right now I am running a very special Chakra Wisdoms retreat here in Byron Bay – a delicious week of meditation, shamanic wisdoms and a facilitated journey deep within as we explore our chakras and how their energy shapes us.

I know how much some of you love to follow along and participate from home, so I’ve created a simple series of exercises to help you take your own inner journey using your chakras and oracle cards for guidance.

Each day we will have a series of simple reflection questions for you to contemplate.

Then you will be asked to choose a colour. That colour represents the chakra you will work with today. There will be a challenge for you based on the colour you chose.

Finally you will choose an oracle card to give insight into the chakra you are working with today.

Choosing your Daily Oracle Card:

Don’t be scared about using Oracle or Tarot cards. They are simply a tool to help tune you in to your own intuition and inner knowing. It is possible that you may also choose the same card more than once over the course of this challenge. Each time you choose a card, treat it as a whole new message. You may find yourself having several interpretations from just one card over time, depending on the questions you have asked.

The following web pages will allow you to choose a daily oracle card without having to own your own deck:

Online Oracle Cards:

Colette Baron Reid’s Oracles – choose a deck, and then choose your card

Doreen Virtue’s Oracles – scroll down to the part of the page that says ‘Get your Reading’ and then choose the Simple Reading one card option

Now shuffle your cards, thinking about the colour and chakra you have chosen today. Silently ask the question to yourself ‘How can this Chakra support me today?’

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select just one card. How you choose that card is up to you. You can split the deck. You could take the top or bottom card. You could fan the cards out and take one from the array.

Concluding Our Oracle Card Challenge

“The outside world can only trigger or block your experience of your true nature. Each time something beautiful takes your breath away, that’s you experiencing yourself. Each time you fall in love with someone, that’s you experiencing yourself. Each time a child’s smile gives you unspeakable joy, that’s you experiencing yourself. Your true nature is beautiful. Life is the art of rediscovering yourself, again and again, in different forms, celebrating, rejoicing, welcoming. You are beautiful. You are life itself.”
~ Vironika Tugaleva

Thank you so much for being part of this Oracle Card Challenge.

Now that you are familiar with using cards to help you to gain insights and direction, you can apply the methods I have shown you to work with any situation in your life where you require insight or inspiration.

I recommend that you use cards as a tool for clarification, rather than as an instrument of prediction. You are the force of power in your life. Within you lies the capability to steer yourself true and to make decisions and choices that are well aligned with a positive future. That future is shaped by your intentions and actions. Don’t give your power away by using cards to predict your own future, or to keep asking a question over and over until you find an answer that pleases you. All successful change comes through deliberate thought, intention and action. No matter your current circumstances, you have these things at your disposal to help bring about changes in your life.

I also recommend that you go back through your journal now, and explore each area you wrote about in more depth. Create an action plan for yourself. Decide on some priorities. Implement your plan, and watch what magic you can create in your life.

Love and hugs, Nicole <3 xx

Day 11 – Oracle Card Challenge

“Hide not your talents, they for use were made,
What’s a sundial in the shade?”
~ Benjamin Franklin

Strengths and Gifts to Call On

Often the things that we are good at, and the talents and gifts for which other people value us and our contribution, are things that are not clear to ourselves!

Today’s challenge will help you to redefine and become clear about what these strengths and gifts are.  Once we know this, we can deliberately and consciously choose to use them in our lives. Result? We always move into greater flow and personal satisfaction.

Here’s what you need to do.

Take your crystal, and complete this short guided meditation:

Hold your stone in your cupped hands, close your eyes, and slow your breathing. Bring white light into your body until you feel peaceful and calm. Then bring white light into the crystal too. Allow yourself to connect to the stone. You may feel it tingle, or visualise a colour in your mind’s eye. When you are ready, open your eyes. Keep your stone near you, and hold it when you write.

Now shuffle your cards, while silently asking the question to yourself ‘What are my strengths and gifts that will best support me and my dreams right now?’

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select three cards using the method that feels right for you.

Place the cards face up in front of you.

Clear your mind by closing your eyes and taking one deep breath in and then out. Open your eyes again. Take a minute and look at the first picture.

What stands out for you today? Is it an image or a colour? Is it a number or a word? What are your first impressions? What thoughts come into your mind? Do this for each card and write your responses down in your journal.

Now let’s go a little deeper. What feelings or words do each card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘What are my strengths and gifts that will best support me and my dreams right now?’ Write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down for each card. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process. Draw a second card for clarification if you need to.

Finally, read back over what you have written.

It is useful to revisit and read over this information often. We are almost always painfully aware of our faults, but we need many reminders about our gifts!

Hugs and love, Nicole <3 xx

Day 5 – Oracle Card Challenge

“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.” ~ Richard Bach

Friendships and Family

Today’s cards will help give you insight into your relationships with the key people in your lives.

Here’s what you need to do:

Take your crystal, and complete this short guided meditation:

Hold your stone in your cupped hands, close your eyes, and slow your breathing. Bring white light into your body until you feel peaceful and calm. Then bring white light into the crystal too. Allow yourself to connect to the stone. You may feel it tingle, or visualise a colour in your mind’s eye. When you are ready, open your eyes. Keep your stone near you, and hold it when you write.

Before you shuffle your cards, choose up to five important relationships you’d like to ask about. These people can be friends, family members or work colleagues.

Now shuffle your cards, while picturing the first person in your mind and asking the question to yourself ‘What do I most need to know about this relationship?’

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select one card using the method that feels right for you.

Place the card face up in front of you.

Clear your mind by closing your eyes and taking one deep breath in and then out. Open your eyes again. Take a minute and look at the picture.

What stands out for you today? Is it an image or a colour? Is it a number or a word? What are your first impressions? What thoughts come into your mind?

Write these down in your journal.

Now let’s go a little deeper. Think about this person. What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘What do I most need to know about this relationship?’ Take five minutes and write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process. Draw a second card for clarification if you need to.

Do this process for each person you want to ask about.

Finally, read back over what you have written.

Stay open to synchronicities happening around these people in your life,

Nicole xx

Day 4 – Oracle Card Challenge

“When you concentrate your energy purposely on the future possibility that you aspire to realize, your energy is passed on to it and makes it attracted to you with a force stronger than the one you directed towards it.”
~ Stephen Richards

You may be in a relationship, and if so, use that relationship as the subject of your enquiry. You may be single and wanting to be in a relationship. You may be exiting or thinking about exiting a relationship. Your primary love relationship may be with God, or with yourself as a happily single person. The dearest person in your life may not be a romantic partner but a family member, friend or even an animal companion. Get clear first about your Primary Love Relationship situation and then continue with today’s exercise.

Here’s what you need to do:

Keep your stone near you, and hold it when you write.

When you have shuffled the cards and they feel ‘done’, select one card using the method that feels right for you.

What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘What do I most need to know about my primary love relationship?’ Take five minutes and write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process. Draw a second card for clarification if you need to.

Finally, read back over what you have written.

Hold some love energy in your heart today. Bless xx

Day 1 – Oracle Card Challenge

“No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.”
~ Madonna

Choosing your Positioning Card

In order to chart a course to anywhere else, we first need to establish our current position. So today’s card will help you to do just that.

Now shuffle your cards, while silently asking the question to yourself ‘Where am I in my life right now?’

What feelings or words does this card evoke in your mind when you think about the card and its images in relation to the question ‘Where am I in my life right now?’ Take five minutes and just write some stream-of-consciousness thoughts down. Don’t censor or judge them. Trust the process.

Finally, read back over what you have written.

Expect that more insights may come up for you during the day. Write anything important down in your journal so that you can continue to reflect upon it.

*PS – I often take a photo of my card on my phone, so that I can refer back to it later!

Oracle Card Challenge Orientation Day

“Make the most of yourself….for that is all there is of you.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today’s post is designed to help familiarise you with some basic techniques you’ll need for our Twelve Day Oracle Card Challenge, which is starting tomorrow.

Choosing your Deck

Choose a deck of Oracle or Tarot cards based solely upon the pictures. Avoid Tarot decks that have pictures of coins or swords are cups as the primary image for a card. Choose your deck based upon the images and their ability to tell a story for you.

Current favourite decks of mine include Osho Zen Tarot, Colette Baron Reid’s oracle decks such as Enchanted Map and Wisdom of the Oracle, the Mythic Tarot and Tao Oracle Cards.

If you don’t have a deck you can use one of Colette Baron Reid’s online ones here.

Preparing the Deck

If the cards are new, shuffle through the cards taking a moment to look at and connect to each one.

Now shuffle the cards back together, or give the cards a shuffle if they are an existing deck.

Hold them between your two hands and visualise white light running into the cards. Offer up a small prayer or intention that these cards work with you for your Highest Good.

Now your cards are ready to go!

Choosing your Crystal or Stone

If you are working with the Year of ME Planner, use the stone you chose as your 2016 crystal.

Otherwise, choose a crystal or stone (it can even be from the garden or the beach) that appeals to you and that feels good in your hand.

Go here to do a short meditation to connect you in to your stone.

Your Other Materials

You will also need a journal or some paper. You’re welcome to use the notes pages in your Year of ME Planner too. At a minimum you’ll need a pen to write with, but feel free to have some different coloured pens, highlighters or pencils at your disposal to help make the information come alive in your journal.

Format for the Challenge

Each day you’ll need a minimum of ten minutes. It’s a challenge you can do in your coffee break! You’ll use your crystal and do a short guided meditation, and then follow the instructions on the blog post to choose and interpret your card for the day.

Okay, now you have everything you need to begin. See you tomorrow for Day One of our Challenge.

Much love, Nicole xx
