Bliss-Bombing – How To Shower The World With Love!

One of my readers recently asked me what they could do to help people. This person is unwell herself, has major fatigue issues and no money. But she has a great big heart.

I know just the thing, and I also know that you’ll love it too.

This is a gorgeous activity, and one of my favourites. I call it “Bliss Bombing”.

Take yourself to a public place, like a mall, coffee shop, or a bench in a park near where people are walking by. Sit somewhere unobtrusive. When someone walks past, shoot a radiant shower of sparks from your heart to theirs and silently bless them with love. You can even send joy and love from your heart to trees, animals, plants, bus-loads of commuters and overhead planes. You might  want to say to yourself, “I bless you with love.  Know joy today.” If anyone catches your eye, just smile.

Feel your open heart begin to tingle with energy and joy.  In that place of energetic connection look around you at the world and you will see that it IS brighter and more beautiful.  YOU contributed to that shift. It’s okay to let your face crack open from smiling!  Expect an outpouring of feel-good emotion.

Final Day of Retreat – and an offer for you!

Good morning, Lovelies (or good evening if it’s that time of day in your part of the world),

It’s our final day of retreat and, as usual, I have been up before dawn – meditating for our group, for you, and for the world. The sun is coming up now, and there are whales breaching out in the bay outside my window. It’s going to be a magical day.

Here’s the centre of the grid in the centre of the hall where we work. I’m sharing the image because I’ve programmed crystals for you, during this time of the eclipse and Lion’s Gate, to help you find clarity and direction in the days ahead and to connect more deeply to your intuition and wise self. You’re always included in my work. Please know how loved and valued you are to me.

In these new post-2012 energies everything has become easier and I am thrilled with how far my students have come in such a short time. They have gobbled up not just the course content as I have shared shamanic secrets for their meditations, soul connection, energy work and finding their own life direction through channelling and sacred geometry – we’ve also covered some incredibly advanced bonus material I thought I might never share with a group. In this new energy souls are ready for this work, hungry for this work, and as their teacher I am grateful to advance them in every way possible.

How have my students reacted to this course so far? Many have told me that doing the work ‘feels like coming home’, ‘like they have found the thing that was missing in their life’ and, gratifyingly, that ‘they have found their soul tribe’ with the other people here on the course and in my wider community.

Post-retreat, after a short rest, we’ll be continuing our work for another two months of online instruction and webinars to cement the learning experiences we’re shared here at retreat. We’ll take this new learning deeper and truly anchor these as life-changing habits.

Just For Today, Choose Kindness

I have a little challenge for you today. It’s a kind of soul medicine, and although it can be a little difficult if you’re out of practice, the more you move into the energy of this challenge the more you will find that it was always your soul’s default position. Think of this challenge as a way to restore your factory settings!

Ready?

Just for today, choose kindness.

Choose to smile from your heart.

Hold back any harsh thoughts, words or criticisms, and find a way to be gentle in your dealings with self and others.

Let kindness be both your journey and your destination.

Just for today, choose kindness.

Let kindness colour the way you see the world.

Put away judgement, and seek out things that can swell your heart with gratitude.

Look for the good in people, the beauty in your surroundings, the blessings at your feet.

Appreciate the simple things, and if you can, share those simple things with others.

A caring word, a gentle touch, a nod of support – none of these things will cost you a penny, but to someone they might be priceless gifts.

When we choose kindness, we ease the way for ourselves and others.  We become an agent for flow and abundance.  Our attitude affirms the goodness and connection inherent in this experience we call life.

We may become an Earthly Angel for someone for whom the Universe intends support or encouragement. God and good can only work THROUGH us. Why not be an agent for that good? Why not be choose to be part of a deliberate energy of love and positivity?

Whatever we choose to think and believe, whatever actions we offer up to the world, our energies come back to us, multiplied.

Trust that the kindness we offer today will find its way back to us when we most need it.

Through the act of living from our hearts, we are transformed, becoming magnetic to even more good-will and positive energy.

Just for today, choose kindness.

Advice For Overwhelmed Empaths and Psychics

The difficult thing about being empathic or psychic is that most of us can’t turn it off.

Some days that’s fine. We feel strong, and we can roll with it. You know what I’m talking about. When you are well centred and emotionally strong, when your energy is high and you’re feeling great, then it is easy enough to cope with difficult situations, troubled relationships, needy people. Things roll off you. You don’t take life personally. You don’t bring it in under your skin.

But sometimes as empaths or psychics our energetic skin becomes so thin that everything affects us. Maybe we haven’t had enough sleep. Perhaps we’ve had a shock or an upset. Or we’ve simply had so long immersed in the mega-sensory space that our lives entail, that we’ve reached sensory overload.

When that happens, emergency measures are needed. We need to redefine boundaries and self-care.

Here are my top ten tips for protecting yourself from further burden, and allowing yourself to come back to balance again. I’ve learned all of this the hard way, and I know that it works.

  1. Don’t watch the news on television, or news clips on you-tube, facebook or other social media. Don’t listen to it on the radio. When you’re already fragile, any kind of trauma can put you over the edge.
  2. Avoid movies or television that portray violence, aggression, struggle or pain. You’re an open wound. You’ll take this in too, and feel and process it as though it’s your own. Turn it all off. Don’t go there.
  3. Don’t answer the phone. If the thought of talking to that person makes you uneasy or if you feel you need to force yourself to pick up, then don’t do it. Don’t put yourself in that position while you’re vulnerable. Speak to them when your boundaries are strong again. Now, it will only make things worse. You know it. Don’t do it.
  4. Avoid crowded and noisy places. You’re a raw nerve, friend. What you need is sanctuary, not stimulation.
  5. Turn down the invitation. Don’t go out of duty. Spend some quiet time at home. When you’re overwhelmed everything is harder. You may well put yourself further down the hole in an effort not to let others down. This time, put yourself first.
  6. Rest. Read a book, watch a gentle movie, spend time lying on the bed or sitting in the sun. Cuddle loved ones and pets. Nap often. Lavender essential oil on your temples, back of neck, and soles of feet,
  7. Sip warm tea, and eat simple warm foods. Cold and raw are harder for the body to digest. Warm soothes shock. It nurtures and comforts. If it’s furiously hot weather, drink fluids at room temperature, or sip tea anyway. A little sweetener is fine, and often helps.
  8. Let go of plans and commitments for a few days. Empty or reschedule your calendar. Simplify everything. You need space and time for this energy to clear, and to become strong again.
  9. Ground yourself. Crystals are fabulous for this, and one of my favourite is black tourmaline. Followed by rose quartz for nurture. Some good suggestions for grounding stones here.
  10. Epsom Salts Baths. This gets magnesium into our central nervous system fast, soothing our frazzled body and clearing our aura. Details about how to make your own epsom salts bath here.

Remember, being psychic and empathic is normal! Don’t ever feel bad for being this way. Instead, learn to manage yourself and your sensitivity. Be kind to yourself.
