Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

Hey, Lovelies.
One thing that living in the time of COVID has taught us, especially lockdowns, is that simple can be good. That slowing down is good for our souls (and our relationships, dreams and wellbeing).
One of the best antidotes to stress, anxiety and overwhelm is to simplify your life.
Everyone needs time to decompress.
Everyone needs time to rest.
Everyone needs time to hang out with others or to be on their own.
If your life is so hectic that you resent invitations or engagements, if you’re working hard at a job and then backing that up with all of the work at home, eventually something is going to break. That could be your mental health, your physical health, your relationship, your creative flow, or even your deep connection to a job or hobby that WAS actually good for you and right for you.
So, how do you simplify?
Say no to stuff.
Reassess your schedule and your belongings, your debts and obligations. How can you make things easier for yourself? How can you take back some time and freedom?
A simple life can be deeply fulfilling – because it’s not stuff and busy-ness that makes you happy – it’s having time to actually LIVE your life!
Don’t be afraid – this is a tremendous time for making decisions and taking action.
What have you got to lose, except stress, fatigue and overwhelm?
Hugs, love and encouragement, Nicole xx
