“Shall we walk through the woods;
dance through the meadows;
and celebrate the miracle
of this garden world?

Leland Lewis, Random Molecular Mirroring

Hello, Lovelies!

October brings our focus back to our home environment, our heart-space and our soul’s journey. We’ll feel a need to nest, to clean and beautify the spaces where we spend most of our time (this could be your body, home, work or even your car!) and to have to hand the things we need to make our time in these spaces comfortable and productive. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Six of Wands brings us.

Six of Wands reminds us about the joy of sharing life with others, and of celebration. This week look to connect with loved ones, friends and family. It’s a great week for planning future celebrations, and for finding reasons to celebrate the everyday. Music, fun, laughter, togetherness and all forms of sharing are well aspected this week.

The energies of the Six of Wands show us that we are all interconnected. When we lift someone else up we all rise. How can you give the gift of acknowledgement and encouragement to someone else this week? How can you acknowledge and encourage yourself?
Six of Wands also shares lessons about the importance of looking and feeling good in managing our personal and spiritual energy. Why not go through your wardrobe and remove the clothes that are worn, damaged or that no longer fit? It’s a great week to get a haircut, update your look, indulge in some self-care, or even have a medical or dental check-up.

If you’ve been waiting for a breakthrough or good news it may well come this week. Energies of obstruction and difficulty are falling away as we move back into flow again.

Supportive crystals this week?

Bronzite promotes inner harmony, reduces worry and allows you to feel grounded, calm and safe.  Angelite nurtures your soul, gifting you expansive connection and deep emotional nourishment. A stone for revelations and insights about what is good for you. Turquoise encourages empathy, compassion and kindness. Unakite (pictured below) opens your heart to love and draws love, friendship and helpful people to you. It helps you to overcome feelings of isolation or loneliness.

Helpful essential oils?

Wild Orange essential oil helps us to see the possibilities for ourselves and our life and is reaffirming, uplifting and happy-making! It’s also one of the best anti-depression, anti-anxiety and anti-burnout oils I know! Use Wild Orange in your diffuser or add a few drops to your bath. To bring a sense of tranquillity, optimism and safety to your home or workplace add equal drops of Wild Orange and Lavender essential oils to your diffuser or your bath.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com

A Week Of Highs, Lows & Breakthroughs – Monday Oracle 18 June 2018

“Balance. It was all about balance. That had been one of the first things that she had learned: the centre of the seesaw has neither up nor down, but upness and downness flow through it while it remains unmoved. You had to be the centre of the seesaw so the pain flowed through you, not into you. It was very hard. But she could do it!
~  Terry Pratchett

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Two of Crystals brings us this week.

At the beginning of this week expect some fluctuations in your mood and energy. One moment you’ll be flying high and the next you’ll feel like you need to withdraw from the world. Or you’ll be full of energy and then exhausted. Totally in love with your idea and then decide it sucks. Just flow with it, don’t fight it, and know that by later this week things will begin to settle down again.

The end of this week will see you potentially catapulted into a new phase in your life, and the key to success for you and any ventures you undertake will be co-operation.

One of the most beneficial energies that the Two of Crystals brings is the kind of helpful people and advice that propel you to achieve success in your chosen field or in solving your current dilemma. Be open to help and advice, and be prepared to consider things that might be new ideas or different to what you had planned. Get your team together. Trust that so much more can be done through co-operation and community.

The other thing Two of Crystals supports this week is anything to do with reclaiming health, fitness and overall wellness in your life. Make sure you’re getting balance between busy and quiet, between work and play, between moving your body and sitting in front of a computer or behind a desk.

It’s a week that can end in great progress forward, but remember to look after yourself, to ask for help, and to maintain balance and sustainability.

Supportive crystals this week?

Smoky Quartz opens you to new possibilities and ideas and amplifies your inner voice. Labradorite encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability. Bloodstone will gift you energy, vitality and an understanding of how hard to push yourself and when to take a break.  Red Jasper (pictured) is a stone for mental, physical and emotional rejuvenation. Deeply grounding, it helps you connect to your heart and your truth and encourages a sense of safety.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Sacred Frankincense or Sandalwood for balance and nurture this week. Sacred Frankincense has a rich, earthy aroma and is calming and supportive – opening you to deeper trust and spiritual connection.  Sandalwood with its distinctive woodsy sweet fragrance is the perfect oil to bring you back to a state of clarity, calm and positivity.

Apply either oil to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it in your home or office. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

You can find the oils here.

June Workshops and Pop Up Shop:
If you’re looking for some extra support for your spiritual journey come check out my upcoming Pop Up Shop, Channelling Night and One Day Workshops in Brisbane 29 June to July. On Saturday June 30 I’ll be teaching Foundation Spiritual Practices (the things I used to develop my own psychic and intuitive skills, self-awareness and compassion), and on Sunday July 1 I’ll teach Meditation and Mala Making (this second workshop is brilliant if you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, stuck or suffering from anxiety or depression). No matter what level you’re at I’ll have something for you on my program. More details here!

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

Monday Oracle – 27 November 2017

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” – Rumi

Hello, Lovelies!

November is a month for knowing ourselves deeply, for healing old hurts and for prioritising and redesigning our lives so that they better represent the person we are and the person we want to become.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts which the oracle card Impasse brings us.

So, what awareness does Impasse bring us this week?

This week we find ourselves at breakthrough point. The things that have held us trapped begin to dissolve or come unstuck.

For some people this will be a gentle easing – a simple shift that brings a gradual return to power or direction, or a slow dawning realisation that changes everything. This could be the introduction of one tiny achievable daily habit, or a decision not to drink alcohol during the week, or the urge inside you to clean the house or buy some new clothes and freshen up your appearance. Perhaps the shift will be towards acceptance of something, so that your circumstances don’t change but your attitude does (think acceptance of your illness, or of your partner leaving, or that who you are is who you are and maybe it’s time to be okay with that). The shift will be small enough that you don’t fight against it, so the change will sneak in slowly and you’ll have adjusted and re-calibrated to that shift before you fully understand just how momentous it will be for your life.

For some people there will be a light-bulb moment this week: a thought, an idea, a conversation, a resource from which inspiration comes. ‘That’s it!’ you’ll think to yourself as something lights up inside you. Suddenly you’ll know what to study, what to offer, what to call yourself, what to do. It will all make perfect sense and you’ll have answers to problems you’ve grappled with for months or even years, and the beginning of a clear path forward.

For some people the clearing of obstacles this week will be sudden and even violent. Things will change fast. There will be endings, beginnings, urgency, discomfort or pain as you are required or forced to move forward. If you don’t choose life will choose for you, or someone else’s choices will turn your world upside down. It’s as if you’ve been swept up in some crazy tsunami. Remember this: keep breathing! Know that your job is to keep your head above water and trust. The turbulence will eventually subside. The waters will calm. You’ll wash up some place far, far from here and when the shock wears off you’ll see that this is a much better place, and that you could have got here no other way.

This is a week for overcoming obstacles, dissolving inner blocks, rediscovering momentum and clearing the way for major change.

If you’re deep in this process seek help to clear, ground and integrate these energies and changes. But don’t fight it. Flow, flow, flow in all you do.

Supportive crystals this week?

Clear Quartz lifts your vibration and opens you to flow. It is a highly spiritual stone, encouraging self-reflection and helpful for hearing messages and receiving signs or direction that can assist you on your journey. A clear quartz cluster will be extra supportive for you this week! Iolite illuminates your depths and helps you to see what’s hiding, and what you’re not seeing – a beautiful stone for boosting self-belief. Green Aventurine opens you out into possibility, tapping you into the joy of living and that wonderful feeling of gratitude. Unakite opens your heart to love, and draws love, friendship and helpful people to you. It helps you to overcome feelings of isolation or loneliness.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Young Living’s Envision this week. It’s an oil blend I often use in my workshops and retreats to help my students connect to inner wisdom and intuition. It helps us to see a greater possibility for ourselves. Use Envision for spiritual connection, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, over your heart, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this week, but they’ll also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Vetiver will calm and ground us, promoting emotional balance, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed, Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot brings joy, gratitude and optimism.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

Your Help Has Arrived! – Monday Oracle 10 July 2017

“An opportunity is a miracle waiting to happen.”
~ Rue Allyn

Hello, Lovelies,

I’m just loving the energies of July. It’s such a supportive month! Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Miracle’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for July, you’ll remember that July helps us to see our place within the bigger scheme of things. It supports love, connection and community and warrants some quiet time this month with loved ones.

Let’s look at the gifts Miracle brings us this week.

This week I can’t emphasis how important it is for you to be able to be open to receiving. Most of my community (and most sensitive and intuitive souls I know) are fabulous at giving, but lousy at asking for help, or accepting and receiving anything for themselves.

Does that sound like you?

This week is great for habitual pattern-breaking, breakthroughs, unexpected gifts and miracles. Yep, really.

Which is great. Unless you keep yourself closed off to receiving….

Miracle reminds us that breakthroughs are at hand, that we are all connected, that magic still exists, that prayers are answered daily, that things can change, that asking for help can make all the difference.

We see an increase in flow this week. We begin to feel more like ourselves again, and stronger within that knowing. We’ll find more energy, more enthusiasm, more clarity. Hooray!

This week Miracle encourages you to ask for that raise, ask for what you’re worth, approach a mentor, enter that competition, raise your prices, ask for the sale, ask someone out, apply for that job or grant, take a risk, do something different or think something different to the way you’ve always done it.

Are you putting those positive intentions for shift out into the Universe?

Are you ready to receive?

It’s the week for it. Please make the most of these supportive energies, no matter what state you and your life are in right now.  Put aside your fears and your worries about not being good enough or deserving enough. Just ask. Stay open. Receive. SO much good can come from that. SO much positive change.

Supportive crystals this week?

Rose Quartz helps us to be open to love and support in all forms and to be able to RECEIVE (Load up your pockets, my loves!). Blue Obsidian gives us mental clarity and self-awareness, strengthening our ability to communicate and connect. Black Tourmaline is great for helping us to see where we need to set boundaries. Citrine helps us to bring the sunshine back into our lives, and to think with optimism and clarity!

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Cardamon, Spruce, Ylang Ylang and Orange. Believe essential oil blend is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and a belief that we can change. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself. It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

The Week Ahead – Oracle Reading for Monday 7 November

existence-osho-zen

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
~ Maya Angelou

“I go to my studio every day, because one day I may go and the Angel will be there. What if I don’t go and the Angel came?” ~ Philip Guston

Hello, Lovelies!

Welcome to the second week of these awesome November energies.

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen, and my take on the energetic outlook for the days ahead.

‘Existence’ is from the Osho Zen Tarot deck – and it heralds another fabulous week.

The week ahead is infused with supportive energies. There are all kinds of positive things coming our way, but we are also reminded to stay grounded in reality; honouring what is true and practical and real for us, even as we keep one eye firmly focused on our longer-term goals and our bigger dreams. We are reminded to keep showing up, to keep doing the work, and then in the doing magic will happen.

In the days ahead you’ll discover new perspectives. Inspiration will come in many forms, with lots of brand new ideas and a fresh take on old ideas and projects.

Expect to be delighted by new ways of thinking. Expect helpful people. Know that this week brings the kind of divine guidance that gifts us clarity, and the kind of synchronicity which delivers us blessings and miracles.

Lightbulb moments? Yes!

Sudden gifts of deep understanding? Yes!

Courage to make the bold moves? Yes!

crazy ones steve jobs

You’ll need to make sure that you write down or otherwise record these sudden ideas and flashes of inspiration because when they don’t come from you it is unlikely that you will remember them accurately if you don’t capture that wisdom straight away!

It’s also a super week for realising how you can collaborate with others in ways that encourage mutual and exponential success. Make those initial connections. Have those first discussions. This week sets the scene for so much of what will unfold in the coming year.

Remember to have adequate sleep, downtime and solitude this week too. It’s often in these quiet spaces that inspiration and guidance come to us.

Totally shattered with exhaustion as you start your week? Stop pushing on and rest first. Being well rested will invite flow and answers back into your life, lifting you from stuck back into momentum and clarity.

There are really obvious signs, offers and guideposts this week. So keep working towards your dreams in a sustainable way, with a sense of hope and magic in your heart.

No dream to work towards? This is the week where you may well find yours.

Supportive crystals for the days ahead? Rose Quartz, Turquoise and Tiger’s Eye. Helpful essential oils? Young Living’s Joy essential oil blend, or  a combination (or singly!) of any of Tangerine, Bergamot and Elemi.

Wishing you a wonderful week, and holding you in my thoughts, prayers and meditations,

All my love, Nicole❤ xx

The Week Ahead – Oracle Reading for Monday 17 October 2016

osho zen

“When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly.”
~ Patrick Overton, The leaning tree: [poems]

Hello Lovelies!

It’s a little bit challenging choosing an oracle card just now. I don’t know my current 2016 deck well enough to read it when I can’t see, so instead I have fallen back on an old favourite – my Osho Zen Tarot deck, whose images I know by heart and blindfolded after twenty years of working with them.

Well then, let’s begin:

This week’s card? Adventure!

What does that mean for the week ahead?

We’re being asked to get out of our comfort zone. We’ve being asked to walk out into the unknown.

It means starting things without knowing where you might end up. It means putting yourself into situations where you can’t control the outcome. It means breaking out of routine to try something new. It means trusting in positive outcomes, even if your knees are shaking and it takes everything you have to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

For some of you, this is a week where you’ll look back years from now and see how this small and seemingly insignificant (although scary!) step you took was the one that changed everything.

For some of you, being brave enough to go outside your routine will mean new opportunities, new relationships, bold new discoveries or a rediscovery of something important that you need to be reminded of right now.

Many of you will find that getting out and about this week provides happy moments, shared joy and a boost to your social life. It’s also a great week to hold or plan parties, launches and grand adventures (think holidays and expeditions!) to be taken some time in the future.

The seven days ahead unfold a deeply spiritual week. A week that reminds us that we’re not alone. That the Universe has our backs. That miracles happen daily. That sometimes the crap we’ve been slogging through was only ever to enable us to step into a brighter future – wiser, stronger, clearer, better. It’s the kind of week where incredible ideas can just slide into your mind, or bubble to the surface. The kind of week where what seemed crazy just days ago now seems entirely possible.

Image by Raven N. from www.liveluvcreate.com

Make sure to find time for joy this week – no matter how small that joy might be. Take time to sit in your favourite cafe, or to drink your favourite beverage – curled up with a book, a game or a loved one. Play your favourite music, dance and sing along. Go on a little adventure in your own home-town or suburb. Gee, you could even have that adventure in your own backyard!

If you’re looking for a crystal companion this week, you can’t go past Labradorite or Green Adventurine. Essential oils? Neroli, Jasmine and Rose.

This is a week for restoring hope, and we can always use more of that.

Sending much love to you, Nicole <3 xx

What Bravery Looks Like

“I don’t like and even resist, being broken wide-open. But, when the contents of my unconscious self spill out of me and I sift through all the disowned parts of who I am… it’s an uncomfortably enlightening and eye-opening experience. It feels a bit like emotional bloodletting. I guess every now and then, I need that release valve to open all the way…”
~ Jaeda DeWalt

So here we are on retreat, with an amazing bunch of women. We’re tidying up the loose ends of 2015, and getting ready for a fabulous 2016. We’re feasting on delicious food. We’re playing with crystals and essential oils and oracle cards. We’re talking to Guides and Fairies and connecting to our own inner wisdoms. We’re pampering ourselves, resting, lying by the pool, having adventures in Byron Bay and beyond, and doing a little serious self-reflection and forward planning for the year ahead.

And we’re working through some really big shift.

I’m sitting in quiet awe and admiration of these ladies. Self-work is the hardest work that you can do, and every one of them has dived right in. They are so ready for this change. To honestly examine your life – your attitudes and behaviours, your actions and decisions – and to identify what needs work, and then to do that work, is no picnic.

I’ll be honest. It’s been a little tiring at times. There have been a few tears. It’s hard, looking at those parts of our life that aren’t working. Those areas where we’ve failed ourselves, or others have failed us. Those dreams of our own we’ve left languishing while we’re too busy supporting everyone else.

But do you know what else? It’s inspiring! Watching women move from fear, confusion and indecision to clarity, direction and focus. Watching women help each other to birth the things inside them that needed to be said, or examined or decided or owned.

2016 is such a big year, and they’ll be ready. They’ll be ready with tools and a plan, and the support of a loving and kind community of like-minded souls. This coming year won’t be like all the other years. It will be different because they are now different.

I’m excited to see what unfolds for them. I know it will be life-changing.

Want to be part of that change?

Stay tuned. I’ll share more information with you tomorrow, and a sneak preview of my exciting secret project.

Sending big love and hugs your way, Nicole xx

Well, that was a bit premature…

ME_113_Patience

“Patience is the calm acceptance that things can happen in a different order than the one you have in mind.”
~ David G. Allen

I was kind of hoping to be sleeping right now. It’s 2am, and I was only fretfully sleeping at best between 8 and 11pm. Now I’m wide awake and I know the rest of the night is going to be a horror.

So I might as well blog.

I’m still herxing. My hopeful post yesterday about waking up and being done (yay? 🙁 ) was all just a little premature. What I actually experienced was a lull before Cyclone Lyme returned for a little more devastation.

Let’s just say I’m not having fun.

This disease (and like most Lyme sufferers I have several co-infections rather than simply one nemesis) is certainly teaching me patience.

I have all this stuff I want to do. I have all this stuff I’d planned to do. And of course those plans have all gone out the window.

After I sleep next I might wake up and this will be behind me. After I sleep next I might wake up and still be deep in herxing land. The only thing I can do is go with it, be patient, and know that eventually this crazy ride will come to an end.

ride-the-wind

You can’t do anything useful while you’re herxing. As the bacteria are dying, sending endotoxins into your system faster than your body can clear them, you end up with a cascading inflammatory effect that plays havoc with your system.

Right now my symptoms include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, puffy streaming eyes and nose, chest pain, nerve pain, joint pain, abdominal pain, impaired balance, itchy skin as though I am being bitten by ants, fevers and night sweats, headaches, random stabbing pains, swollen glands and raw throat. The one happy thought is that prior to today my mind was also on vacation – everything felt as if I was thinking through cotton wool. Now my mind is bright and clear. It’s just the rest of me that isn’t playing nice.

I’m okay with the process though. If this is how I heal, then I can roll with it. I have an arsenal of herbs and activated charcoal and zeolites and other great feel-better tricks in my tool kit. I have terrific doctors and natural therapists. I have enough Epsom Salts to start my own bath salts company. I have crystals to clutch and aromatherapy to sniff. I have a veranda where I can sit in the dark and talk to the owls. A whole farm where I can howl at the moon. The hospital is a short ride away, should I need it. My husband is asleep in the next room, and Harry the hound is sleeping on my feet, keeping me company while Bert sleeps in the space I vacated. I’m so grateful not to be alone and going through this, as too many people are.

I’m so grateful to be having a massive herx NOW and not when I’ve been working, and not when I’m on retreat. It’s actually pretty good timing, all things considered.

Anyway, it only feels like dying. Having looked at that end-of-your-life place from far too close, I KNOW that this shitty space I’m in right now is worth it. Life is worth it. Health is worth it.

Every time I have a massive herx like this, I end up with an equally massive shift in my health and I climb further back out of this hell-hole that has been my life for the past thirty years.

I really did try to make the best of that hole. I wallpapered and made it pretty, installed a comfy couch, put positive affirmations on the walls, surrounded myself with uplifting things. But it was still a hole. And each year it got a little deeper, and the sunshine seemed a little further away.

Looking back at me, a year ago, I can see how far I have already come. A year ago I was dying. There seemed to be no path forward other than faith, and trust me, that was thin on the ground.

Now I’m making real progress. On a non-herxy day I have a brain that works, a heart that behaves, better bloods, more energy, the ability to walk, talk and breathe all at the same time. My prognosis is good. I’m writing again. I’m working again. I have my life back.

All I need to do is stick with the treatment, put up with the herxes, and hang in there. I’m getting better. I have tangible proof of that.

By the time you read this, with any luck I shall be asleep. Fingers crossed, hey?

If I could leave you with one thought, it would be this: Don’t give up. You never know how close you are to a major breakthrough.

Wishing you your own breakthroughs, synchronicities, answers and miracles today. Bless ♥ xx

Pushing Boundaries

Image from watcombeb1.wordpress.com

“Sometimes there’s just no way to hold back the river.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

When I was younger, and just starting out on my spiritual journey, I longed for a teacher to show me the way. But there was no teacher, so I stumbled my way forward, helped by my sister and some friends, and my wonderful Guides.

Now I’m all grown up, it’s my great joy to be that teacher and mentor for others.

Today I begin a five-day Channelling Intensive Retreat in Byron Bay, with a hand-picked bunch of students. I’ll be teaching them some high level metaphysical skills, and mentoring them to use their natural psychic abilities to find clearer direction for their personal and professional lives. And I know that they are all feeling excited and terrified in equal measure.

That’s as it should be.  It’s always scary when we try something new, no matter how much we want that thing. Over the next few days I’m expecting lots of breakthroughs!

Of course, I’ve also timed our retreat to coincide with the Full Moon, which will provide us with abundant energy for change and growth.

I’m going to make sure that my students really push their boundaries, and in the process they’ll find out what I already understand – that they are capable of so much more than they ever dreamed of.

It’s a great time right now for changing direction, for reaching beyond your current perceived limits, for stepping into the energy of your dreams.

So, if I could ask you one question today, it would be this:

What do you want, more than anything?

Go on.  It’s 2012! Take a little step towards your dream this week. No grand parade, no sweeping announcements – instead breathe in, breathe out, commit and just begin.

Life is too short to live small.

Wishing you a week of tiny steps, breakthroughs and soul magic ♥ Live from the light of your heart! xx
