November is an expansive month of heart-opening, joy, progress, breakthroughs and success. It’s a month for emotional healing, sharing your thoughts and feelings, and of celebrating how far you’ve come or how much you’ve survived. Keep November’s energy in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card MOTH brings us.
The Message of the MOTH
The moth is a creature that lives in darkness, but who seeks the light. She is a vulnerable creature, and yet there is great strength and determination within her, as she seeks her goal and flies toward it. MOTH is intuitive, focussed and a traveller. Her message is one of SELF-AWARENESS AND SELF-IMPROVEMENT.
This week MOTH urges you to tune in to your own wisdom, above all of the experts and gurus. Your wise self knows what is best for you. Listen to that guidance. Expect journeys to be a big theme this week. This could be in the form of travel, or symbolic of the inner journey.
MOTH helps bring hidden feelings to the surface this week, and shows you patterns of thinking and behaviour that have been unconsciously harming your development. When these patterns come to your awareness, know that it is time to grow past them and to become someone new, who no longer behaves or thinks in the old way.
MOTH reminds you to find your tribe, and to spend time with the people who are important to you, the people who understand and love you, and the people who champion you and lift you up. Spend time in the company of those who are wise, generous and compassionate. Avoid people who are petty, narcissistic or mean-spirited.
Transit Of Mercury Across The Sun
Today, November 11, we have the Transit of Mercury Across the Sun, and these energies will be affecting us from now until mid-December. These energies tune us in and open us up to the true frequency of communications from others, so that we can feel and know that communication on many more levels than just the cerebral.
This gives new meaning to the word empathy, as we find ourselves able to relate more deeply and openly with the emotional state and thoughts of others. This can happen in conversation, while listening to music or reading a book, or even simply by being in the same space as another person, animal, plant or place.
As a sensitive soul, you may find this an intense time. But it’s also a time where great progress can be made with all forms of communication and relationships, and where great healing can occur.
What do you do when you feel the depth of someone else’s soul experience? Send them love. Send them light. Radiate that energy out and anchor that energy in your own heart. We can all pick up the torch and keep the healing journey alive and in progress, even long after a friend, loved one, or mentor has passed from this Earth. Because we belong to each other, so the love of one is the love of all, the pain of one is the pain of all. The work of one is the work of all. As Lightworkers, I call upon all of you to help anchor positive energies, hope, healing, love and light right now.
