Energies of June 2019

“An awake heart is like a sky that pours light.”
~ Hafiz

Hello, Lovelies!

At the beginning of every month, I discuss the energies and gifts of the month ahead and how we can best use them to make our lives satisfying, meaningful and productive. I also choose a card to support the energies of the month. The deck I am using this year is The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid, and June’s card is 8 of Fire.

June brings energies of growth and transformation.

This month you can build on existing situations, foundations and opportunities, further transforming your life through work and self-belief. You’ll start to see results, and your progress will become visible to others too.

The power of teamwork and of focus can’t be overestimated this month. There are so many choices in front of you now, and you may feel like there are too many choices and that everything is moving past you too fast.

If you feel like that, look for some quiet time amid the bustle and haste. Use nature and meditation to bring you back to calm. Choose just a few things on which to focus.

Let the rest go for now, or delegate it to someone else. And get a team together – people who can help and support you. You’ll go so much further together than trying to get it all done on your own.

June puts an emphasis on your health, healing and wellbeing. Don’t let your health slide at the expense of your dreams and goals. Look at ways to work sustainably and get help wherever you can.

Make sure to get a health check, and to keep on top of all of the habits and choices that let you live your best life.

Leave a little time for celebration this month too. Don’t let everything be everyday ordinary.

You don’t need a reason to celebrate – being alive is enough!

Surround yourself with people who support and uplift you.

Do things that make you feel alive. Celebrate others too. Share the joy around.

Fill your life with colour, love and passion. Trust in the journey and believe in good outcomes.

Rest And Find Your Center – Monday Oracle 27 May 2019

“Activity and rest are two vital aspects of life. To find a balance in them is a skill in itself. Wisdom is knowing when to have rest, when to have activity, and how much of each to have. Finding them in each other – activity in rest and rest in activity – is the ultimate freedom.”
~ Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Hello, Lovelies!

Here we are in the final days of May. May has been such a breakthrough month – it’s been a time for positive progress, big leaps forward and fine-tuning of your self-awareness. Lots of lightbulb moments, dramatic shifts and realisations and the odd bit of pattern breaking. So I know you’ll appreciate the energies and gifts of inspiration which the card Rest brings us this week.

Rest is about you recognising it is important to find that balance between sustainability and momentum. Nothing can burn bright endlessly. Everything needs replenishment. So what nourishes and replenishes you?

It’s easy to think of food and exercise as nourishment. They are, but we are also soulful creatures with hungry minds and searching souls. Our souls have their own appetites. Maybe you need to go watch a football game and revel in being part of the larger crowd. Perhaps live music will fill you up, or a wine and cheese tasting at your local cellars. An early-morning surf could be your thing, or a picnic with family or friends, or an intimate date with your beloved. How long has it been since you read a book, listened to the birds in the backyard, visited a new restaurant or attended a workshop about something that interests you?

Rest is also about trying to work out how to incorporate rest into your every day, rest into your week or your weekend or your month. It’s about you thinking about longer holidays. Can you find a work/life rhythm that works for you? Can you start work earlier and finish earlier, or give yourself a later start one day a week? Can you clear one day on your weekend to simply relax and have time for yourself? Can you put the kids in care one afternoon a week to create a window of time just for you?

The messages and wisdom of Rest help you to become mindful about creating sustainability in your life so that you don’t burn out.

Let Your Curiosity Lead You – Monday Oracle 22 October 2018

“When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.
~  Walt Disney

Hello, Lovelies!

October brings our focus back to our home environment, our heart-space and our soul’s journey. We’ll feel a need to nest, to clean and beautify the spaces where we spend most of our time (this could be your body, home, work or even your car!) and to have to hand the things we need to make our time in these spaces comfortable and productive. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Child of Hearts brings us.

Child of Hearts reminds us that we live best when we come from a place of curiosity, and an attitude of positivity.

Where are you sitting in habitual negative thinking or negative self-talk? Thoughts are things and the words we choose and use has a manifest impact upon our daily lives. Make an effort to consciously shift your thoughts and internal dialogue this week so that you open yourself up to new possibilities.

Where is your heart calling you to go? Look for courses, music, shows, books and ideas that stand out for you and then follow where they lead. Be an explorer in your own life!

Child of Hearts also shows us the importance of creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing home environment. Use this week to clear out clutter, to do a quick clean and make-over, to bake up a storm or invite friends around for a simple shared meal and good conversation.

Supportive crystals this week?

Bronzite promotes inner harmony, reduces worry and allows you to feel grounded, calm and safe.  Angelite nurtures your soul, gifting you expansive connection and deep emotional nourishment. Wild Orange essential oil supports your Inner Child, and fosters creativity, curiosity and an upbeat mood about life . If you’re super-stressed add a few drops of Lavender, which promotes calm and relaxation. For spiritual connection and Higher Purpose add a little Ylang Ylang too.

A Week For Positive Transformation – Monday Oracle 23 July 2018

“The most important journey you will take in your life will usually be the one of self transformation. Often, this is the scariest because it requires the greatest changes, in your life.
~  Shannon L. Alder

Hello, Lovelies!

July’s energies are so heart-full! They are all about love and togetherness. Make sure you find time for the people and things you love in July, and if you’re looking for love know that this is a very supportive energy for starting new relationships. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Ace of Wands brings us.

The energies of this week are all about personal transformation. The Ace of Wands heralds a time where we can find our way free of stuckness and come out of darkness back into the light.

It’s a week that delivers personal clarity which can be the beginning of becoming comfortable with ourselves. The Ace of Wands supports us to find helpful coaches, teachers, mentors, counsellors and friends to bring out the best in us. It’s also a week where we can bring out the best in others.

This week is supportive of us choosing new and successful directions for our health, career, study or business or of adding thinsg into our existing situation to boost our results.

From a spiritual perspective, it’s a powerful time for all forms of meditation, healing work and metaphysical connection that leads to transformation of self or others.

Supportive crystals this week?

Rose Quartz is a stone of love and nurture – it helps you to be open to the giving and receiving of love. Yellow Obsidian is a gently shielding stone that helps you to think clearly and to break patterns of self-criticism and negative thinking. It aids in looking for positive solutions to life’s dilemmas and for embracing change. Smoky Quartz opens you to new possibilities and ideas and amplifies your inner voice.  Chrysocolla (pictured) supports heart-centred living and empowers you to know and speak your truth.

Helpful essential oils?

Cypress is a very useful oil this week, unless you’re pregnant or lactating (if you are please don’t use this oil – try Roman Chamomile instead!). Cypress has a woodsy fresh aroma that is expansive and uplifting. It works with our heart chakra, helping us to step into our power and to move through grief, pain and trauma with grace and courage. It’s a great oil for your diffuser.

Want to create a soothing and empowering blend for the week ahead?
Add 6 drops of Cypress, 2 drops of Bergamot, 2 drops of Frankincense and 2 drops of Lavender.

You can find the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

The Energies of February – 2018

“Oh, it’s delightful to have ambitions. I’m so glad I have such a lot. And there never seems to be any end to them– that’s the best of it. Just as soon as you attain to one ambition you see another one glittering higher up still. It does make life so interesting.”
~  L.M. MontgomeryAnne of Green Gables

Hello, Lovelies :)

In February we begin to build on the strength and intuitive connection we found for ourselves at the beginning of the year. We begin to find a clear direction forward. February brings opportunities for planning, learning and growing in order to bring about positive change.

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for February for you: one from Colette Baron-Reid’s The Enchanted Map and one from Steven Farmer’s Earth Magic Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

“A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.”
~ Bob Proctor

February is a month for inviting change, for making long-range plans and big decisions that will bring us closer into alignment with our authentic selves and soul needs.

Create some space this month for working with your Oracle cards and planner, for family or work meetings, and for allowing everyone’s voices to be heard.

This month invites you to find other people to guide you as you plan and instigate change. Maybe you can find a coach or a mentor, or a supportive group to join (emphasis on supportive – no whiny negative groups, because that’s self-defeating, you want a group that feels comfortable, supportive and empowering).

Maybe it’s you with support to offer others. If so, go launch that program or put that offering out into the world.

The second card I’ve chosen is CLOUDS. It’s primary message is the importance of dreaming a brighter future for ourselves, and for believing in our possibilities.

Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.”
~ Albert Einstein

February is a terrific month for all kinds of dreaming and imagining new possibilities for ourselves and our future.

It’s also a great time for learning from history – our own or from the world before our life this time around, and for anything to do with family, especially for connecting with the stories of your elders and ancestors.

If you are an elder in your own family think about how you can share stories and skills with the younger generation. Do you have a family favourite recipe to share, or an important story about a family member or heirloom?

As you connect into this wisdom and guidance you’ll continue to develop clarity and confidence in yourself, who you are, what you believe, and what matters to you.

Don’t forget Earth Wisdom this month. Let nature be a teacher and guide for you too.

Can you spend some time honouring your body with exercise and healthy natural food? Can you work on getting enough rest and downtime? And can you spend some time in nature?

Best crystals this month?

Banded Agate and Sunstone

Banded Agate creates a sense of safety, peace and belonging. It also helps to anchor change.

Sunstone helps us to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that we see the blessings and possibilities in our life.

Essential oils to support your journey?

Young Living’s Clarity and Envision blends are my choices for February. Clarity is a blend that includes peppermint, basil and rosemary. I love this oil for helping me to learn new things, and for focus, problem solving and being open to new ideas. It helps me bust through mental fatigue and stay fresh and engaged with my work. Envision is an oil blend I often use in my workshops and retreats to help my students connect to inner wisdom and intuition. It helps us to see a greater possibility for ourselves. Use Envision for spiritual connection, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra, back of neck, over your heart, wrists and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they’ll also make a great combination for diffusing. Grapefruit is uplifting, busts stress and helps us overcome self-doubt. Ylang Ylang restores confidence in ourselves and our decisions and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, Rosemary improves memory, promotes emotional balance and diffuses stress, and Cardamon helps link our left and right brain, bringing balance and calm.  To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

Wishing you a love-filled, satisfying and wonder-full February.

Lots of love, Nicole❤ xoxo

The Week Ahead – Oracle Reading for Monday 24 October 2016

harmony osho zen tarot

“Make the most of yourself….for that is all there is of you.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hello Lovelies,

Here’s this week’s oracle card and my take on the energetic outlook for the days ahead. I’ve chosen the Harmony card from the Osho Zen Tarot deck.

Take a big breath in. Breathe out. Relax into it. Relax into the week. Relax into your body. Relax into your truth. This is a time of healing and flow.

This is a week for nurturing your heart chakra. A week for reconnection to yourself and those you love. A week for conciliation, emotional healing and breakthroughs in stuck relationships. A week for finding love or deepening existing love. A week for the creation and celebration of life and all creative projects that are inspired by the heart.

This week urges you to be relationship-centred, heart-centred, hopeful and kind.  Not just with other people, but with yourself.

hugging

Image by Sarah Rhoads – One Hug A Day

It’s also a week that brings a flow of ideas and emotions. You’ll find that this is a great time to pour your heart and soul into cherished projects. You’ll also be able to more easily identify the relationships, situations and projects that are well aligned with your heart and which will be positive experiences for you.

You’re encouraged to speak your truth and to share your gifts this week.

It’s a week that needs some time and space for us to be in the moment, for us to indulge our senses and to experience pleasure and joy. Spend time in nature. Buy yourself flowers. Eat delicious food and savor every mouthful. Hug your pets and loved ones. Catch up with family and friends. Watch a great movie. Immerse yourself in a book. Play the music that speaks to your emotions.

Ask someone on a date.

Tell someone how you feel.

Launch that idea or project, or carve out time to work on it! Make it happen because it’s what’s in your heart.

It’s a week where we will begin to have clarity about how we really feel, and about what we truly want.

Above all, it’s a week for love – for feeling better about ourselves, more connected to our inner wisdom, and more centred in our hearts.

Guided Meditation for Heart Healing

This fifteen minute guided meditation will help you to improve your self worth, and to feel stronger and more loving towards yourself and others. It will balance and open your heart chakra.

Supportive crystals this week? Rose Quartz, Green or Peach Aventurine and Fluorite. Helpful essential oils? Young Living’s Joy essential oil blend, or  a combination (or singly!) of any of Geranium, Rose, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.

From my heart to yours, <3 have a wonderful week! Sending so much love and encouragement your way, Nicole xoxo

Emergency Help for Grounding Yourself and Opening your Feet Chakras

“Get yourself grounded and you can navigate even the stormiest roads in peace.”
~ Steve Goodier

You may be aware that the Earth has experienced some fairly intensive geomagnetic storms and solar flares just recently.

The energy of those storms has passed, but there is still an energetic residue that we are dealing with, the effects of which may last a couple more weeks.

Most people are feeling an easing, and a softening. They are feeling more balanced and hopeful. But a few sensitive souls seem to be still stuck in their heads. They might be feeling not quite in their bodies or not quite grounded.

And there’s a good reason for that.

Geomagnetic storms bombard the earth’s atmosphere with electrically charged electrons and protons, creating positively charged ions. These tiny particles interact with the earth’s crust, which is usually negatively charged, and when the bombardment is intense the skin of the earth may end up with a neutral or positive charge for a short time.

What does that mean for you? You may find it hard to ground yourself to the earth right now. Energy that would normally be discharged through your feet instead stays within the body, going round and round in a feedback loop. That will change as the polarity and charge of the ground reverts to normal, but I have a few tips to help you manage until then.

When your feet chakras are blocked it puts additional stress on your liver and digestive system, making it harder for your body to detox and heal. It can also make you overly sensitive to caffeine and alcohol, and foods you would not normally react too, as these substances take so much longer to transit and exit your body. You can also have digestive issues, bloating, rising tension and become so emotionally over-stimulated so that you move into hyper-sensitivity.

Image from pinterest

Image from pinterest

Here are my top eight suggestions to open and clear those feet chakras, leaving you balanced and grounded:

  1. Massage sesame oil into your feet for a few minutes before you go to bed. This helps to drain all of that spinning energy down into your feet, and the out through your foot chakras. It will also promote a more restful night’s sleep. Rubbing firmly (not so it hurts!) over the top of the foot eases tension in the mind, chest and throat. As you press from the little toe down to the heel you release tension along your shoulders and arms. Gentle sliding pressure on your instep releases energy in the spine. When you work the heel you release tension in the belly. Finally, rub the instep in a circular motion to open and drain the foot chakra. Apply a little extra oil if it is needed, as it will absorb into the skin of your feet.
  2. Sesame oil with a few drops of cedarwood and frankincense essential oils – If you’re feeling disconnected from your intuition and emotions, this blend rubbed into the soles of both feet with help you to release and open the foot chakras and reconnect you to your heart and higher self
  3. Sesame oil with a drop or two of vetiver – If you’re experiencing anxiety, panic or a sense of discomfort you can’t put your finger one, this blend rubbed into the soles of your feet will open your foot chakras and desensitize your overwrought nervous system so that you come back into balance.
  4. Coconut oil with ylang ylang – Feel like you’ve been hit by a Mack Truck? Coconut oil and ylang ylang work to counter anger, stress, frustration, exhaustion and will gently restore confidence and a sense of inner peace.
  5. Black tourmaline – This is a fabulous crystal to carry in your pocket, to hold in your hands, or to grid around your bed when the energies are unsettled. It firmly connects you back into your body and grounds you into the earth, giving a sense of safety and protection. Soak a black tourmaline in your sesame oil? Fantastic!!!
  6. Hematite – Rub a tumbled hematite over the soles of your feet and foot chakras, finishing with that circular motion over the chakras in your soles. Hematite will open and clear the foot chakras like pulling the plug out from a bathtub of water. This is a great one to use during the day, and can be done at work. Terrific if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer.
  7. Epsom Salts and Crystal Foot Soak – Fill a small tub with warm water, a few tumbled stones, and up to a cup of Epsom Salts (pure magnesium crystals). Place your feet in the tub and use the stones to give the underside of your feet a gentle massage. This will release your feet chakras and give your body a hit of that calming mineral – magnesium. Perfect for soothing a frazzled nervous system, cleansing your aura and realigning all your chakras. Feel free to add essential oil to your foot soak, and to follow with a sesame oil rub for some deep self-care.
  8. Stand barefoot in a river, stream or ocean for at least five minutes. Press and gently rub your feet on the bottom to open and activate your feet chakras. Moving water maintains a negative charge. Perfect for what you need right now.

Once this energy has cleared, you’ll be able to ground and work with your foot chakras in the usual way. You can read more about that here:

Unblocking and Grounding your Foot Chakras

It only takes a few minutes to work with your foot chakras, but those few minutes are a significant act of love and nurture that will truly help you to stay strong, centred and grounded so that you can live in a way that is satisfying and which helps you be your best self. Please don’t give yourself a hard time about the way you’ve been feeling. Celebrate the fact that you are an energetically sensitive soul!

How to do a Simple 3 Minute Essential Oil Meditation

2015-03-14 09.04.51

“Meditation makes the entire nervous system go into a field of coherence.”Deepak Chopra

I love essential oils. I’ve been using them for nearly thirty years in my spiritual practice, and recently they have been instrumental in my ongoing recovery from Lyme Disease.

Today I’d like to share a very simple meditation with you using essential oils. It only takes three minutes, but that three minutes can have a profoundly peaceful, calming and uplifting influence on your body, mind and spirit. It’s a meditation you can do at any time, anywhere, and if you’re new to essential oils it’s a great introduction.

To do the meditation you need a drop or two of your favourite essential oil.

Let me show you what to do.

1. Firstly, sit with your feet flat on the ground, and your spine straight.

Image from yoffielife.com

Image from yoffielife.com

2. Place a drop or two of your favourite essential oil onto the palm of one hand. Rub your hands together for a few seconds so that the heat of your body begins to activate and diffuse the aroma of the oil.

Image from ajahealth.com

3. Bring your cupped hands up to your face, just in front of your nose. Close your eyes, and breathe naturally. With each in-breath you will be drawing that essential oil into your body. With each out-breath you will be pushing the essential oil around your aura or energetic field.

Continue this simple process for a few minutes. Then open your eyes, give yourself a moment to come back to focus, and go about your day.

Here are a couple of my favourite oil suggestions for you:

1. Lavender – a beautiful oil to promote relaxation, peace and a sense of tranquility. Also helpful for restful sleep. This is a super one for kids too.

2. One drop of Peppermint, and one drop of Tangerine or Orange. This blend will wake you up and mentally refresh you, helping to uplift your spirits when you are jaded or exhausted.

3. Geranium – an oil to restore those who over-give and who need nurture and emotional support. Helps shift negative emotions and trauma. Also wonderful to support women with hormonal issues such as PMT or painful periods. (You can also cup this in your hands for your dog, cat or horse to breathe in too if they’ve experienced shock, upset or trauma!)

4. Young Living’s Stress Away blend – when you’re frazzled, have a tension headache, or your brain is on overload, Stress Away helps restore clarity, calm and grounded awareness. A great oil to keep in your handbag or on the desk at work.

PS: If you’d like more information about essential oils you can contact me at cauldronsandcupcakes@gmail.com but be a tiny bit patient, as I am at the Young Living Conference just now. I promise to get back to you just as soon as I can. Much love, Nicole xx

Feeling So Very Grown Up!

2015-03-23 17.06.27

“I feel wonderful and sad. It’s the gin.”
~ Stephen Beresford, The Last of the Haussmans

I know.

It’s a picture of a drink.

But it’s not just any drink.

That drink is a personal victory.

Let me explain….

For the next few days I’m attending an essential oils conference on the Gold Coast.

I’m staying in a fancy hotel. I’ll be in the company of people I adore, and I’ll be enjoying more adventures than I’ve had in quite a while.

But what is really making me excited is that last night I did something quite normal. (If you’ve ever suffered from a chronic illness you’ll know how exciting this really is!)

I was sitting in a lobby lounge with a girlfriend, when she decided that she felt like a drink from the bar. Without even thinking I agreed to have one too. The way I would have done so many years ago.

Just a simple gin and tonic, garnished with a slice of fresh lemon and one of lime.

It was refreshing, delicious and so very grown up. And this morning I feel absolutely fine!

How wonderful to reclaim a little bit more ‘normal’.

I know it was just one drink. But that one drink marked another milestone in my slow but steady recovery from lyme disease. Helped of course, by essential oils as part of my healing regime.

I’m looking forward to a day of learning today, followed by dinner tonight with good friends. I promise that if anything cool or amazing happens, I’ll let you know.

Hooray for being better and better!

Wishing you a day of magic and miracles too <3 xoxo

Navigating The Energies of March 2015

Image from thegospelcoalition.org

“When you follow a star you know you will never reach that star; rather it will guide you to where you want to go. … So it is with the world. It will only ever lead you back to yourself.
~ Jeanette Winterson, Boating for Beginners

I’m sure you’ve been noticing it, these intense energies of the last few weeks. The energies are astrological and are caused by planet positioning,  the super moon, eclipses, solar flares and storms, and geomagnetic disturbances here on the earth with earthquakes, flooding and cyclones/hurricanes. These energies affect us physically, and sometimes mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

For some people this has manifested as a crushing fatigue coupled with an inability to sleep deeply or well, to the point where they wonder if they have succumbed to some terrible as-yet-undiagnosed disease.

For many there has been an increase in anxiety, sadness for no reason, digestive disturbances, jitteriness, short-term memory loss, headaches, migraines, foggy thinking, dizziness, heart palpitations, shakiness, balance and co-ordination issues, heartburn and tummy upsets.

Some people have found themselves angry, rageful, frustrated and bitter with a sudden resentment. They are fighting with their loved ones. They feel hopeless and worthless and like everything they do is crap, or will amount to nothing.

Some folk are fearful, worried that tragedy is around every corner, is stalking their families, is a heartbeat away from destroying everything they hold dear. They fear that they will be rejected, abandoned, and ostracised.

Did I mention it’s intense?

And then there’s this weird feedback loop. All the things we’d thought we’d dealt with seem to be suddenly coming back and staring us in the face again. Taunting us. Mocking us. Making us fear that we are sliding back into a hole that took us a long time to crawl out of. Sometimes we see these broken or unbalanced parts of ourselves when we look in the mirror. Sometimes our loves ones mirror them back to us in a way where we realise that what they are showing us is really as much about ourselves as it is about them.

At times recently it has felt as if every good thing we told ourselves that was possible, or that others told us was possible, was a handful of dust and lies.

And then the past few days… The past few days have been brutal. Especially if you’re a sensitive soul. We’ve had a massive increase in solar flare activity and electromagnetic disturbances which have impacted many of us on many levels. Some of us have been almost on our knees with the energy of it all.

But take a deep breath.

It’s passing.

Some of you will already feel a little lighter. Things will begin to feel more hopeful. You’ll find yourself with energy again, and clarity will return.

What we’re experiencing is not just solar flares and a geomagnetic storm – it’s also a big energetic shift, and the shockwaves of that shift are rippling though us, stirring up the dust in our corners and the fears and pains trapped in the lower vibration of our being.

It’s okay.

Keep breathing.

Let it go.

It’s up to you. You can ride it out, and it will pass. For some people, that will be enough.

For those of you who feel called to self-discovery, this can be a time of massive insight and breakthrough.

Know that facing and exploring things which cause you pain or that hold painful memories will allow you to find the key that unlocks the door to a deeper level of yourself. As you shed a little light in those dusty corners of your soul you’ll be able to call back those broken, rejected and abandoned parts of yourself. This in turn allows reintegration so that you can step more fully into your power; the power that comes from being self-aware. This in turn leads to greater self-acceptance, and self-love.

No matter what path you choose, journalling, sitting quietly in reflection, doing things that bring you joy or that relax you, spending time in nature, all of those will be useful activities right now.

Further tools for support:

Nutrition – drink plenty of water and up your magnesium intake. Listen to your intuition around food choices, and steer clear of sugar and too much caffeine. Give your nervous system a break.

Crystals – For anger issues – red jasper. For gaining clarity – clear quartz. For fear – hematite. For feelings of abandonment and lack of love – rose quartz. If you’re freaking out about money and financial security – citrine. You can hold the stone, pop it in a pocket, wear it as jewelry, or place it under your pillow. These stones will also work well for pets or children – just place crystals in sleeping area or under bedding.

Essential Oils – Lavender is an excellent all-rounder right now. I am also loving Young Living’s Peace and Calming Blend  (perfect for pets and kids too!). Cedarwood oil rubbed onto soles of feet and back of neck will help with grounding you and promoting restful sleep – and is awesome when used in conjunction with Lavender. Frankincense is another useful one for tuning in to a stronger spiritual and intuitive connection. If you need help sourcing these oils you can contact me here.

Grounding – Grounding yourself into the earth is a very nurturing and stabilising practice. You can learn simple grounding techniques here and at this post: Unblocking and Grounding your Foot Chakras

Epsom Salts Baths – Epsom salts baths are fabulous for detoxing, grounding, soothing frazzled nerves and cleansing our aura. Click here for instructions.

You’re not alone in all of this. So many of us have been affected by these energies. Draw strength from the knowledge that you are sensitive. Be brave and open to that sensitivity, and allow yourself to grow and transform.

Much love, Nicole xx
