Choosing Love and Kindness- Monday Oracle 20 May 2019

“The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

Hello, Lovelies!

May is such a breakthrough month – it’s a time for positive progress, big leaps forward and fine-tuning of your self-awareness. Use experts and wise people to help you move past stuckness and overwhelm, and find your balance between sustainability and momentum. Expect your own wisdom to grow too this month! Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the card Unconditional Love brings us.

Unconditional Love has an important message about the space that you choose to occupy this week. This is that space of loving yourself – of not treating yourself cheaply or meanly but instead treating yourself with kindness and care.

What does that mean? This is you being able to cherish yourself when you make a purchase so that you are choosing one beautiful thing rather than a whole heap of cheap things. It’s about saving up for the thing that you really want rather than just being second best with whatever is the thing that is important to you. It’s about making healthy food choices rather than feeding yourself junk, it’s about not buying what you can’t afford, it’s about not letting others devalue you, use you or exploit you.

This is you silencing that mean and judgemental voice in your head that endlessly nags and criticises. This is you choosing to support yourself, encourage yourself and motivate yourself. This is you putting up boundaries – for yourself and for others, so that you live in an energy of respect and self-care.

It’s about giving yourself the gift of time, the gift of care, the gift of space in your life for you and for what matters to you. It’s about slowing down and truly being in the moment. It’s about LIVING, not just existing.

It’s also about making peace with where you are now, even as you desire more or better for the future you.

This week Unconditional Love reminds you to remember that you matter and that your life matters. Tune in and rediscover love for yourself, reach into awareness to find that understanding of what your needs are – lifting your self-worth, lifting your self-esteem and really starting to trust that you can provide for yourself with whatever it is that you need. It’s a really beautiful space of self-discovery and self-knowing.

The other thing that this week is about is the love that you radiate out from yourself in your thoughts and actions – especially in regard to looking after the planet. It is having that unconditional love for family, for the community, for the environment and feeling really impassioned to do things that support those areas of your life as well.

Supportive crystals this week?

Pyrite provides passion, power and protection. It builds determination and self-belief.
Dalmatian Jasper (pictured) helps you move forward, living in mindfulness. It releases stress and amplifies joy. Snowflake Obsidian is a wonderful stone for any form of pattern-breaking, helping you to invite or invoke change. Rhodonite is great for supporting you to follow your heart.

Helpful essential oils?

Combine Lime and Cypress Essential Oils for an uplifting and focusing diffuser blend this week.

Lime helps clear away stale energy, Use it to clear away any disappointments, hurts or negative emotions that are holding you back from being kind to yourself and accepting of yourself. It brings a sense of optimism and renewal for body, mind and spirit.

Cypress is really like taking an energetic broom to the cobwebs in the corners of your life. It gifts focus and clarity, and is a beautiful oil for enhancing calm concentration. It supports being able to plan your life without being limited by self-sabotage or negative thinking.

I’m passionate about essential oils and their capacity to support our wellness journey and our spiritual and emotional wellbeing. If you’d like to know more or want to source the oils I recommend and trust visit this site or contact me at channelnc@gmail.com
I’m also looking for three key people right now to train as future leaders and work with me around sharing and using essential oils. If that sounds like you, contact me via the email address above.

Want to come join me for a Fairy Wisdom Workshop and Yummy High Tea?

If the answer is YES then I invite you to come join us in Brisbane on Saturday June 22 for a very special event.

My beautiful friend Sokli will be hosting the main part of our event, and Sokli is a fairy. How can she do this? I’ll be channelling her, so she can speak to you directly.

Sokli is going to speak about:

  • How to make friends with fairies
  • What fairies know about nature and the seasons and how this knowledge can help you
  • Important messages about the planet right now and why fairies need your help
  • Fun and interesting stuff that will help you to improve your wellbeing and health
  • How to create a crystal grid to energise food and turn it into healing medicine for your body or for a loved one or a pet

Together we’re also going to:

  1. Lead you on a Guided Meditation (you’ll receive access to a copy of the recording after the event so you can do the meditation whenever you want);
  2. do a little Winter Solstice colouring project;
  3. and make and activate a crystal grid (you’ll get to take this home with you too).

If you feel like making the occasion extra magical then dress up in your favourite Fairy Theme, or add a little Garden Magic to your outfit (think flowers, leaves, and all other lovely nature-themed goodness). There will be a prize for the Best Dressed, and some extra little surprises as well.

Of course, there will also be a goody bag for everyone because I never run an event without including a goody bag. All the best parties have them!

While you enjoy the party feel free to browse our Winter Solstice Pop Up Shop, which will have a delightful range of crystals and special spiritual and self-care items available. For purchases from the shop, we can take cash or card on the day!

Cost for this event is $104 all inclusive. This includes the workshop, a delicious High Tea (with lots of recipes from my blog!), a goody bag, crystal grid and access to a recording of the meditations after the event.

This is incredibly good value!!! Why are we running it so cheaply? Sokli just wants everyone to come together in friendship, to learn about fairies, to have fun, and to have a party in a safe and happy learning environment.

Tickets are the same price for adults and children because we are only covering costs for this event!

For Tickets to our event click: HERE

We are so excited for you to join us!

Wishing you a week filled with love, self-care and good boundaries. Above all, be kind to yourself and those around you. In these uncertain times, kindness matters more than ever.

Lots of love, Nicole ❤ xx

What Action Are You Taking To Create Positive Change This Week?

“Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned.” ~ Peter Marshall

This is a great week for transformation.

You could step into a space of positive change with your health, your business, your relationship, your financial situation, your career, or so many other things.

All of the energies this week support shift, change and growth.

But there’s one thing you need to use as a magical key to unlock the block that has been holding you back – just one thing that can change everything…

You need to act!

Even the smallest step this week can lift you out of stuckness. In fact smaller steps are great. It’s the bigger actions that usually through us into overwhelm. So choose something and begin.

Imagine if that one tiny action changed everything for you!

It could, so let’s do it!

Cheering you on, Nicole ❤ xx

A Week For Letting Go – Monday Oracle 11 June 2018

“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”
Ann Landers

Hello, Lovelies!

June is a quieter month energetically – one that invites us to spend time with loved ones, time on ourselves and our wellbeing, and time resting, recharging and doing what we love. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of inspiration which the oracle card Eight of Hearts brings us this week.

The energies this week support a gentle letting go of the things that have been weighing us down.

There doesn’t need to be a struggle or a big dramatic scene. In fact, the very best kind of letting go is one where we decide to let something go with grace and ease.

Eight of Hearts reminds us that letting go lightens us energetically. It feels good to let go of the things have burdened us. Whatever it is that is dragging you down, keeping you stuck or sad or sick, be prepared to let go this week. Decide you don’t need to keep thinking about your ex anymore. Decide to stop smoking and then do it. No need to make a big fuss. No need for big declarations or public posts about your decision. Just decide, make a plan, act.

Decide that you don’t need to keep eating food that makes you feel bloated and tired. Then stick to it today. Repeat again tomorrow. And if you mess up forgive yourself and then keep going. Decide that you’re going to sing or write or paint or dance just because you want to. Decide to clear your clutter. Decide to let go of thinking you have to do everything yourself.

Decide that you don’t need to stay in a bad relationship. Decide that you don’t need to stay in a lousy job. Decide that you don’t need another family Christmas where everyone ends up fighting. Decide to get a cleaner. Decide to get your tax done. Decide to see the doctor.

Letting go is an act of empowerment. And when we let go, and remain empty for a while, better things come and fill the void we have created, because as we lighten our energy from the letting go, things of a lower vibration will no longer be in alignment and we’ll stop attracting them. Letting go in one area often brings opportunities, miracles and advancement in another.

So this week, lighten up by letting go!

Supportive crystals this week?

Smoky Quartz keeps you grounded, gifting inner strength and the ability to
listen deeply to your own needs. Labradorite encourages self-care, supports empathy and intuition, and is a gentle and reassuring stone for developing psychic ability. Sodalite will help you express your truth in thoughts, words and actions. Garnet (pictured) will gift you courage and determination, and reconnect you to your passion.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living has a blend called Release which is perfect for this week’s energies. It is an uplifting and nurturing blend of Ylang Ylang, Lavandin, Geranium, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Spearmint, Lemon, Blue Cypress, Davana, Lime, Ocotea, Jasmine, Matricaria, Blue Tansy, and Rose. It’s an essential oil we use on our retreats to help participants let go of emotional trauma, negative thoughts and beliefs, and old energies and emotions that have become stuck. I love it. It’s like an energetic broom to sweep away the dust and cobwebs.

Apply it to your pulse points at wrist, neck and over heart like a perfume. Place a few drops in your bath water. Diffuse it. One of my favourite uses is as a centering and reconnecting pick-me-up. Put a drop in the palm of your hand, rub hands together and then inhale the aroma. (Here’s a simple three-minute meditation you can do using geranium or any of your favourite essential oils – click here)

If you can’t get hold of Release then use any of Rose, Jasmine, Geranium or Blue Cypress this week.

Need an extra boost of encouragement? Try Young Living’s Believe essential oil blend. It’s fabulous in your diffuser while you work, or as a quick pick-me-up with a three-minute meditation. Believe is uplifting and promotes confidence, spiritual connection, clarity and belief in ourselves. It also helps us to let go of fear, doubt and old emotional pain and hurt.  I often use this oil when I am creating, writing or journalling, or working with cards for myself.

You can find the oils here.

Monday Oracle – 19 February 2018

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.”
― Suzy Kassem

Hello, Lovelies!

In February we are building on the strength and intuitive connection we found for ourselves at the beginning of the year. February brings opportunities for planning, learning and growing in order to bring about positive change. Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts of awareness which the oracle card Nine of Swords brings us.

This week’s card speaks to that place within us that is scared, doubtful and filled with feelings of insecurity and unworthiness. Nine of Swords calls us to embrace the challenges and opportunities in our lives.

This week don’t let fear hold you back. Don’t let insecurity prevent you from engaging or putting yourself out there. So much of your fear is from limited thinking, and from being in your head rather than in a place of action.

If you are feeling overwhelmed look for a mentor or coach to guide you. Or try a book, a course, or a group of like-minded people.

Whatever it is that you want to do, someone has done that thing before you. If they found a way you will too. Look at how you can model your thoughts and actions on someone who is already enjoying success in the area that is calling to you.

Most importantly, don’t give up – on yourself, on your dreams, on your future.

The longing in your heart is a sure sign of the direction you need to follow. Make space for those dreams this week, be brave and take action!

Supportive crystals this week?

Sunstone helps you to sit in a place of abundance thinking so that you see the blessings and possibilities in life and to believe in your right to a better future. Banded Agate (pictured) creates a sense of security and courage as you open up to living more fully as yourself. Amazonite is fantastic for being brave in putting yourself and your ideas out into the world. Unakite opens your heart to love, and draws love, friendship and helpful people to you. It helps you to overcome feelings of isolation or loneliness.

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Young Living’s Clarity and Believe blends this week. Use Clarity for focus, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. Use Believe when you are doubting yourself and want to find your confidence and self-belief. It’s great to inhale directly, diffuse or add a drop to Heart Chakra and inner wrists. A few drops added to your bath make for magical self-care.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed, Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot promotes joy, gratitude and optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

How to Have a Heart-Centred Year

2013-12-09 10.05.54

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection”
~ Gautama Buddha

I care for myself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustained I am, the more I will respect myself.”
~ Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

I’m betting you’ve never had a year where you made yourself – your wants and needs – front and centre to the Universe.

A recurrent theme among my current retreat participants is that each year, no matter what their initial intentions, time slips away and they find themselves (once again…) putting everyone else and everyone else’s dreams and goals before themselves.

But how can this serve us?

I believe it can’t.

I’m not talking about selfishness, self-centredness and egoism. I’m talking about choosing to be good to yourself, to make room for your interests and goals, to speak up for yourself, to meet your needs, and not just feed yourself from the scraps of life after everyone else has dined.

So, if you’re game, I’m going to ask you to do something radical. I’m going to ask you to make a commitment to yourself. Not any old kind of commitment, like the promises we constantly make with ourselves about exercising more or eating less chocolate, which get broken at the first uphill.

I’m asking you to make a sacred promise. This is metanoia – a sacred and unbreakable promise you make with yourself. The kind of promise where our life can radically change, as we turn away from the shadows and put our faces to the light. It’s a promise we commit to not breaking.

You chose when you will start. It can be any day beginning from today until January 1, 2014. And the duration is for the entirety of 2014.

All of us here at my retreat took this commitment yesterday. We made the sacred commitment to live our lives in a different way, by putting ourselves first. By loving ourselves and treating ourselves well – with kindness and respect.

For some it was the hardest promise they have made, after a lifetime of self-neglect, low self-esteem and unworthiness issues.

But I know it is a promise that shall turn their lives around.

Will you join us? 2014 is almost here. This IS the year where everything can be different for you.

Commitment Ceremony

Choose a crystal or stone that resonates for you, and that gives you comfort to hold. Find a clear patch of ground, outside, and stand barefoot with your face upturned towards the sun. Close your eyes, and centre yourself. (How to do that here)

Feel into your heart. And then in your own way, and in your own words offer up your promise to the Universe – a promise that you will love yourself and put yourself first in 2014. A promise that you will take care of yourself, respect yourself and meet your own needs. A promise that you will live from your heart, with integrity and awareness.

It might be one of the hardest things you ever do. I also promise that it will be among the best! Much love to you, ♥ Nicole xx
