Are you feeling called to explore your Spiritual and Intuitive side?

“Spirituality is not adopting more beliefs and assumptions but uncovering the best in you.”
~  Amit Ray

“Your soul knows the geography of your destiny. Your soul alone has the map of your future, therefore you can trust this indirect, oblique side of yourself. If you do, it will take you where you need to go, but more important it will teach you a kindness of rhythm in your journey.”
~ John O’Donohue

Byron Bay Residential Retreat – 6 to 11 March 2018

Ever wondered what it means to be spiritual? Curious about spirituality but have no idea where to start?  You’ve recently discovered Angels and oracle cards but don’t know what that means or what to do next?  Stuck in life?  Wondering why you are here?  Think you might be psychic but aren’t sure?  Had a love of spiritual practice, but feel like you’ve lost your way?  Are in need of some nurturing and guidance? Feel like you are going through some kind of psychic or spiritual awakening?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then we have just the course for you!

Join us as we begin our journey in this new energetic age. The old ways are slow ways, and no longer well suited to the quickening energies of this dawning era. You will have felt the turbulence and quickening of these Universal energies. You’ll feel a resonance and a readiness for this next stage, and for being an important part of the process which will unfold this new era. You will be ready to walk a more spiritual path, and to find the comfort this connection brings.

This Retreat will tune you up to these new energies, and actively accelerate your personal and spiritual development. During our time together I will be immersing you in a spiritual and energetic world where you will connect with your own gifts, and be given exercises and activities for your current level of ability, and which are tailored to your specific energetic skillset. There will be time on this retreat for you to seek clarification and guidance with me too, about your spiritual practice, your next steps in life, and your path of service to others.

My retreats are much more than just a learning environment.  They are a safe place for your Soul to evolve.  They are a coming together of like-minded people for sharing and connection, and they are a journey that will accelerate your understanding of and love for yourself and your place in the world.

What Previous Participants Have Said:

‘Words can not express how amazing Nicole Cody retreats are. They really do have to be experienced. This changed my life and I really appreciate the time and effort that Nicole and Dana PA put in. So much wisdom and love surrounds Nicole – I took advantage of the payment plan – so I would highly recommend going along. I made so many lovely friends and had many breakthroughs.’ – Amanda C.

If anybody is on the fence and wondering if they can actually invest money 💰 in themselves to do this retreat 🌈 I have to tell you what ever it takes if this retreat is calling you do the things you need to to make it happen 🌸 I have attended 3 of Nicole’s courses since I discovered her blog 💫And yes life changing 🦋
I have also met so many wonderful people and you will hear the phrase “finding my tribe” thrown around a lot 🌿
You will never regret going to Beautiful Byron for a life challenging and changing experience 🌷 – Beka L

I’ll second those sentiments too. I went on a retreat 2 years ago and was so anxious but once I got there and met everyone, I was made to feel really welcome and cherished. Nothing was too much trouble and when I was ” stuck” there was plenty of support from some wonderful people. (Plus the food was awesome) – Mary P

And from my wonderful PA, Dana:

If you have ever wanted to attend a retreat with Nicole but felt you weren’t experienced enough, or that the retreat sounded a bit scary (because channelling and other things we do aren’t for everyone!), then our March “Spiritual Awakening” retreat is perfect for you! It is a very gentle beginners retreat. I cannot put into words how well Nicole, her guides, the food and the environment will nurture and support you.
As booking forms have started to come in, I also wanted to remind you that we can work out a payment plan for you based on what works for you. Unfortunately our suppliers are putting up their prices, so this is the last time we’ll be able to offer this retreat at this price. So please don’t let money be the reason why you don’t join us. Places are starting to fill, so get in touch before we sell out!
Love and hugs to you all, Dana

Medicine For The Soul

polychrome jasper meaning

Polychrome Jasper Heart in earth, sea and sky colours – from my own collection!

“Put ‘im in your bag. Dis lil stone, dis leaf, dis feather. Dem all medicines for you. Your special tings dat make your heart glad. Make your soul remember. Dat good for you. Proper medicine.”

~ Aunty

This morning, very early, I woke with a heavy heart. I felt the weight upon it of world events. Of a friend I know who is about to be given devastating health news. Of another friend who is finally reaping the legacy of a genetic illness which is ramping up to destroy life as he has known it.

Those feelings were so big that I could hardly get out of bed. But I did, and I grabbed my Medicine Bag and then sat on cushions on the floor of my lounge room in the quiet pre-dawn.

I lit a candle, listening to the scratch of the matchtip on the rough box end, and then the sudden hiss and flare of the flame. I lit a stick of incense. I spread a cloth on the floor in front of me.

From my bag I took my singing bowl and placed it on the cloth. My mala beads went there too. From my bag I took a few favourite crystals. I held the stones for a moment and then placed them on the cloth. Then I took up the singing bowl and settled into meditation.

Nicole Cody Tibetan Singing Bowl

I let each wave of sound radiate love out into the world. Peace. Calm. Hope. Unity. Love. I breathed this energy in and out. I travelled it with the waves of sound and with my intent.

I sent healing to my friends and their families and carers. And to mine. I sent healing and love to each of you.

I offered up my prayers.

I meditated until a profound peace and reconnection to love was all that I could feel, then returned the bowl to the floor.

I sat a little more in this energy of peace and love, and then reached into my bag for my cards. The room was light enough to see now. I drew a card for the day (these cards are so old and worn and dear to me that I need only hazily glimpse the picture for it to be clear in my mind) and reflected on the meaning for me.

I wrote in my journal.

2015-03-18 06.38.17

I sat awhile with one of my crystals. I packed everything back into my bag, ready for tomorrow, or whenever else I may need these tools again.

And then I got up, refreshed in body and spirit, put the kettle on, and began my day.

That is what my Medicine Bag does for me. Within it is a physical space, a spiritual space, a healing space – which I can unpack and use at any time.

The ritual connects me to my Aboriginal Aunties, to my Grandmothers and to myself. It centers me in love. It reminds me to live from love, and from my heart, no matter what is happening in the wider world. It gifts me guidance and perspective. It brings me back to what matters when my mind has run away with its worries.

My Medicine Bag

On Saturday 26 November I’ll be running an afternoon workshop in Brisbane to teach you how to create your own Medicine Bag. I will give you the basic spiritual foundation practices to use this bag the way I use my own.

I will also cover the practices and tools that can help you to develop a regular spiritual practice and strengthen your intuitive and psychic ability. We will look at the fundamentals of working with crystals, connecting with your guides, simple meditation techniques, using oracle and tarot cards to give yourself an intuitive reading, and some foundation metaphysical principles for raising your vibration. These are all the things I used at the beginning of my own journey, and that have led me to where I am today.

There are just a few places left – more details here.

Online Option: If you’re not able to attend, but would like to learn how to craft and use your own Medicine Bag, please contact Dana, my wonderful PA at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com and ask to be put on our Medicine Bag mailing list. I’m currently putting this together as an online course with an optional materials package (of the things we will be using in our physical workshop). We’ll let you know as soon as the course is available, and those of you on our list will get a special discount!

Here’s a sneak peek of some of our Medicine Bag workshop materials (if you look closely you’ll see oodles of crystals in the corner too!), as well as my friend Carly who has been looking after me as I recover from my recent surgery (And I’m doing VERY well, thank you <3 ) and helping me with my workshop preparation.

Join Me for a Twelve Day Oracle Card Challenge?

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
~ Ernest Hemingway

Hello, Lovelies!

So, here I am in Rome for a few days, before Ben and I begin our cruise around the Med. And you may be surprised to know that our very first stop in Rome is the airport cafe! Why? Good coffee and fast, free wi-fi. Once we get to our hotel and then onto the ship I am expecting the internet to be quite dodgy for the next little while, so Ben suggested that I get some blog posts loaded for you before we catch a cab to our hotel.

And the result?

I have a wonderful Oracle Card Challenge for you!

June is our mid-year point, and that makes it a fabulous time for a little refocusing on who we are, what we need, and where we are going.

Whether you’re working with my Year of ME Planner (which you can still buy! I’ve created a mid-year intake for our membership group, and a modified Planner to take you through from June to December. Details here), or simply doing your best to make the most of 2016, I’ve designed a simple project for you to help you get that clarity as we had into the second half of this year.

Want to join me?

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A deck of your favourite oracle cards
  • A journal
  • A favourite crystal or stone
  • Some pens and pencils
  • About ten minutes of your time each day (of course you can spend more, but ten minutes will get you done!)

Go gather your materials together and meet me back here tomorrow for your orientation to the program. Don’t worry if you haven’t used oracle cards before. I’m going to show you everything you need to know.

Lots of love, Nicole xx

Listening to the Universe

Night Sky by Eric Hines

Night Sky by Eric Hines

“Most of the things we need to be most fully alive never come in busyness. They grow in rest.”
~ Mark Buchanan

I sometimes joke with my students that my oracle and tarot decks are all broken, because the cards I pull from them for myself so often have one message.

Rest.

Of course today I expected something different.

And I got this:

2016-04-10 16.04.23

I’d be lying if I told you that I didn’t groan and roll my eyes…

I so wanted it to be a different message.

But I also know it’s the message I need.

There’s a difference between hearing and listening. When you hear, you have a momentary engagement, which quickly passes without making much of an impression. When you listen, you take the message on board and pay attention.

I’ve learned that when you ask the Universe, the message keeps coming up until you finally listen and apply the wisdom being presented to you.

I’m ready for a new card. But that won’t happen until I’m rested. Time for me to listen.

How about you? Do you ever get the same card, or the same theme, over and over?

What do you do when that happens?

Much love to you from Snooze Central.

Nicole <3 xx

A New Journal Challenge For You!

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
~ Rumi

Writing a journal is something I’ve done since I was a child. I don’t mean a simple diary, where you record the events of the day. You know what I mean… I ate this. I did this. Someone said that. No. I mean a place where I could explore ideas, talk with myself, and find my own answers.

Over the last few years I’ve created several journal challenges here on my blog, and I’ve just made a new one for you, to take advantage of the fabulous energies August and September bring for truly going deep within, in order to know and understand ourselves better.

Would you like to join me?

We’ll be starting next Sunday, August 2nd, so that you have adequate time to gather your resources together. Each Sunday for September and August I will have a new journal activity for you to complete during the week. You’ll need a minimum of ten minutes to set aside each week for writing, and an additional five minutes per day for five out of seven days for energy work. (If you can do more, great. If you can only find ten minutes then we’ll flow with that too.) There will also be an optional guided meditation each week.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A new journal. Choose one that feels right for you. Make sure there are enough pages to get you through 9 activities.
  • Some pens and pencils.
  • A small stone to use as a gratitude rock.
  • A larger rock or crystal to use as a guidance stone.
  • A deck of oracle cards.
  • A sense of adventure and a readiness to explore your inner world.

NB: A note on choosing oracle cards – choose cards whose pictures and messages are meaningful to you. Avoid cards such as tarot decks that show only coins or cups etc. Instead choose a deck whose imagery really speaks to you. It’s the pictures that matter. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to use them. I’ll be showing you.

That’s my own journal, cards and stones in the picture below. I’ll be right beside you doing each week’s activities too. My gratitude rock is a small citrine, and my guidance stone is a labradorite. The oracle cards I’ll be using are Colette Baron-Reid’s Enchanted Map cards

Who’s in? Pop your name in the comments or let us know over on facebook. If you post a pic on the facebook page during this challenge, you’ll be in the running to win a cool prize! Stay tuned for directions.

Much love, Nicole <3 xx

A Little Taste of Our Sanctuary

2014-12-04 09.25.42

“Each positive thought is your refuge and your sanctuary, where in that thoughtful moment, you are safe.”
~ Bryant McGill, Simple Reminders: Inspiration for Living Your Best Life

It’s our final day of the 2014 Soul Sanctuary Retreat, and I thought I’d share just a tiny part of what we’ve been doing.

We’ve come together and we’ve made magic, we’ve meditated and we’ve shared stories that help with our healing and becoming.

2014-11-29 15.53.50

We’ve made a collective mandala, that holds all of our energies, personalities, love and positive intentions.

2014-12-04 06.19.02

And we’ve turned that mandala into individual talismans with crystals and colours that support us, and our power chakras. Yep, that’s right. We made gorgeous jewels!

2014-12-05 05.44.19

We created Vision Boards to uplift us in the coming months, and to remind us of what is important in our lives, and the future we wish to actively manifest for ourselves.

2014-12-05 05.48.15

We’ve made a personal Sacred Mandala that holds our poetry and philosophy for 2015 – they are symbolic of all that is dear to us and all that we are becoming.

2014-12-05 05.47.09

We’ve wandered through the gardens, having time in nature, and connecting with the earth. And we’ve feasted on a smorgasbord of delicious fresh food, all local and organic and cooked by our own personal chefs – Deb and Claire. (We love you!!!)

2014-12-04 09.25.06

We’ve talked with fairies and Guides, learned how to do readings for each another, and found ways to deeply tap into our own intuition and inner knowing.

2014-12-03 13.33.19

We’ve played with essential oils, learned new ways to ground, connect, release and nurture ourselves. We’ve had healings and been given oils and essences just for us. We’ve enjoyed massive nurture, friendship, laughter, a few tears, and loads of hugs.

2014-12-03 10.04.58

In short, it’s been a fabulous time.

I can’t wait for Soul Sanctuary 2015 so we can do it all again!
