“It always amazes me to look at the little, wrinkled brown seeds and think of the rainbows in ’em,” said Captain Jim. “When I ponder on them seeds I don’t find it nowise hard to believe that we’ve got souls that’ll live in other worlds. You couldn’t hardly believe there was life in them tiny things, some no bigger than grains of dust, let alone colour and scent, if you hadn’t seen the miracle, could you?”L.M. Montgomery
October energies support sustainability, and finding healing for, and solutions to, our problems.
Keep that in mind as we explore the gifts that this oracle card from the CELTIC LENORMAND brings us this week. The CELTIC LENORMAND, with its beautiful Pagan and Celtic themes, is written by Chloe McCracken and the artwork is by Will Worthington.
The Gifts Of The Week Ahead
This week brings beautifully reassuring energies. Stay open as a flow of healing energy, love, compassion and inspiration comes your way.
If you’ve been holding on by your fingernails, or waiting for clarity and direction, expect hope and answers to come to you in unexpected and even delightful ways. Things might not be completely healed or sorted this week, but you will see how to move ahead at last. Expect glimpses of a better future, and something different to your current stuckness, that is more aligned with the new and evolved version of yourself who is moving toward you now.
Where things have been awful, wretched, and seemingly broken beyond repair, Universal Grace reaches out her hand and touches everything with love and light, creating possibility where there had been only misery.
Can’t remember when you last laughed or what makes you happy? This week gifts you a remembering of your soul truth. No matter what is happening in the world, love and laughter and gratitude is necessary to life. We are nothing without that light inside us. You’ll begin to know what that light is once more.
Stay in your body. Look through your eyes. Put your hand on your heart and simply breathe in the moment. Do all you can to stay present, because your power in in the moment – not the past, not the future – your power is in the NOW.
Find ways to bring simple beauty into your life – a flower in a jam jar beside your bed, a candle at the dinner table, fragrant soap for your shower, clean towels or sheets, a splash of colour in your outfit, a splash of fragrance at your wrists and collarbones, a smile and a genuine twinkle of love in your eye.
Seek out moments of joy, pleasure and gratitude. Ground yourself in the moment and don’t let your mind go racing ahead. For no reason at all, you’ll just feel a bit better, sleep a little more soundly, feel a little less flat and restless.

Helpful Essential Oils
Want to create an uplifting and empowering blend for the week ahead?
Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates your mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps you in flow and relaxed, Ylang Ylang opens your hearts and is supportive when you feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot promotes joy, gratitude and optimism.
To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser.
This week’s a week of work, adventures and creating wonderful new projects for me.
I’m also taking time each day to sit in nature, to watch a bird or a lizard or a cloud, and to water and tend to my gardens. A little music in the background. Extra cuddles with my boys. Moments with the sun on my skin or the starlight in my hair.
This life of ours is a miracle, and our planet (that we so often take for granted) is a source of wonder if we only take the time to tune in.
Breathe, be present, take it all in. Love, gentle breezes and fresh flowers, Nicole xx
