It’s the simple things in your life that make up the bulk of it.
The mundane is where we live and we end up missing most of it.
We find it again in the silence and in attention of everyday life.

Hello, Lovelies!
This Quarter I am using the Wisdom Of The Oracle cards by Colette Baron-Reid for my weekly oracle readings.
Our card to guide us for the week ahead is 42 – CHOP WOOD. This week we are called to bring our attention to the things we often resent, resist or perform on auto-pilot – household tasks, routine jobs, monotonous or mundane things. This week we are called to make each task an act of sacred devotion.

CHOP WOOD reminds us that there is magic and meaning in everything if we choose to make it so. It’s our thoughts and intentions that give something it’s value. Remember when something was new, and we marvelled at it, took care of it, stayed fully present with it? That might have been a new love, a new baby, a new car, a new home – anything that was fresh and bright in our lives. Or perhaps we had newly committed to a venture, a habit, a goal. Over time, our attention waned, our level of care decreased, and we became automatic rather than engaged with our actions and presence.
This week, make each act a meditation. Take a slow calming breath and be present with each person, each task, each action. Let the sacred infuse your life in the most basic and fundamental areas.
Why?
Because life IS sacred, life IS precious, and it is these myriad daily tasks – these simple acts – that make up the bulk of our existence. If suddenly your life was ending they would be magical again for you. So, let yourself give these simple things devotion and see how your whole life shifts on its axis.
Flow will be restored. Open heartedness and wisdom will creep back in. Inspiration and gratitude will find you. You may even find yourself smiling for no reason.
My Top Tip For The Week Ahead: Slow down. Keep breathing. Make conscious choices. Stay in the moment.
Need help to reconnect with your passions, or to re-evaluate your choices? Maybe you need a session with me to bring some extra clarity and direction. Details here
Crystals to support you this week – Smoky Quartz, Rose Quartz, Pearl, Peach Moonstone, Amethyst

This week I’m working on our next iteration of Goal Magic. Stay tuned – more details soon.
I’m also turning up daily for our free 30 Day Planner Challenge (I know it’s nearly the end of July but if you wanted to join us it’s still possible as I won’t close off the course until the end of August!), and I’m spending my spare time sorting out some of the 2 tonnes of crystals (no, that’s not an exaggeration) that we moved from the farm into storage when we shifted house.
With the energies of this week it feels like a good time to be unpacking more boxes, and to be cleaning, settling in some more, and getting a feel for the changes we may eventually make here to accommodate all of our books and my ongoing need for work space.
I’m also working on my own personal project – my Kimberley memoir – which I bravely dusted off at the beginning of July so I could have one more attempt at it. (This will be draft 10!) I printed out the hard copy to do my final mark up yesterday, after weeks of revisions. So there’s that too. I’m not sure if I’ll have it done by the end of the month, but I’m planning on having it completed by my birthday in early September, so that I can move on to new things.
I’m really enjoying the energies of the second half of this year. I hope you’re finding them inspiring and nurturing too.
Much love, lots of little post-it notes and coloured pens, and stupid amounts of tea, Nicole xx

I am not alone in looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of the Kimberley years!!
Our sacred act of meditation was to go with my daughter and pick up roadside rubbish while the roads were quiet during lockdown. Most of the drivers who passed by waved at us =)
It was a nice shared experience with my adult daughter and a bit of active making the world a better place.
Awesome
Thanks. Just what I needed to hear🙏
