Guided Meditation and Advice for Sensitive Souls and Emerging Psychics

“Empaths did not come into this world to be victims, we came to be warriors. Be brave. Stay strong. We need all hands on deck.”
Anthon St. Maarten

As most of you know, I’m psychic, and have been this way to varying degrees all my life. All of us are intuitive – that’s our birthright, and it’s hardwired into us. Even the most disconnected or ‘non-believing’ of us will still have gut feelings or hunches strong enough that we can acknowledge and act upon them.

But some of us have a much greater sensitivity than that. If you have experienced any of the following (not as a result of mental illness, or a drug or illness induced state!) then this post is written for you:

  • lucid dreaming
  • deja vu
  • precognitive dreams or visions
  • awareness about people, places, objects or events that has no rational cause nor explanation
  • an ability to know information about people
  • sensing the energy field around people or places, and having that affect your body or emotions
  • seeing energy, faces, or other images either in your mind’s eye or through your own eyes
  • hearing voices or knowledge not your own – either as a physical sound, or as a voice, knowing or thought that arises inside you that you somehow understand is not your own
  • having remembrance or recognition of past lives
  • being drawn to psychic activities and tools, such as cards, books, courses, modalities and crystals – where you feel compelled to have or work with these, even when your rational mind protests or doesn’t understand
  • sudden recognition of things previously not known to you – such as knowing the names or uses for things outside your profession or fields of study, or knowing your way around a place you have not ever visited
  • sensing, seeing or hearing Guides, Angels, those who have crossed over, and other energetic beings
  • connection with star people, recurring dreams about or remembered incidences of UFO or alien encounters – these are often not threatening or unpleasant
  • recurring dreams for which you have no explanation
  • a strong sense that you are here to do something, to contribute something, to help in some way – this feeling becomes stronger over time until, if you haven’t worked out what it is yet, it becomes almost a sense of despair or desperation
  • saying or writing things without knowing where the information is coming from
  • performing healing, art, writing, music and other creative acts where you suddenly ‘know’ what to do, even if you have never been shown before
  • understanding animals, children or others with no voice to communicate
  • sudden strong emotions flooding over you that are totally unrelated to what is happening right now

I’m sure there’s more that I could add to that list, but that’s a start…

If you’re sensitive energetically then you are bound to be sensitive in other areas of your life.  This is especially true if you are going through a process of spiritual or psychic awakening. At a time of awakening, energies and abilities that have been dormant within you begin to assert themselves in your life.  This can be quite a turbulent and confusing time.

From long experience, these are my suggestions about how to live as a Sensitive Soul as you begin to Awaken.

  • Rest.  When we’re growing and changing, rest is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves.
  • Avoid crowded places such as shopping centres and football games when you are feeling particularly sensitive or energetically vulnerable.
  • Avoid difficult relationships and people who drain, upset or unbalance you.  Limit contact with the crazy-makers in your life.
  • Eat well.  Favour organic foods, with an emphasis on fresh, local produce, with plenty of leafy green vegetables and root vegetables, rice, pulses and yoghurt. Avoid processed food and sugar. Some people may need to avoid meat at this time.  Others may need meat to ground them.  Listen to your body.  If you’re especially sensitive avoid wheat as well.
  • Avoid alcohol, drugs and stimulants.
  • Take a good powdered magnesium supplement.  Your muscles and nervous system use magnesium to relax and it we also burn it like rocket fuel when we are engaging in energy work and psychic activity.
  • Drink plenty of fresh, clean water.
  • Use yoga, qi gong or tai chi to ground you and move energy through your body.
  • Spend time in nature.
  • Spend time on your own, exploring the things that interest you.
  • Avoid chemicals in your cleaning and personal care products. Avoid places that have a strong artificial or chemical energy.
  • Use natural and alternate therapies to help clear and support your body.
  • Meditate.
  • Pray, and talk with God.
  • Explore vibrational therapies such as bush or bach flower essences, crystals, music, colour and aromatherapy (Want to know about my favourite essential oils for spiritual support and how to get them? Email me at channelnc@gmail.com)
  • Trust, look for support and know that things do get easier over time.

I’ve created a very simple six minute guided meditation to help you open to your spiritual gifts in an energy of safety and protection. Once you know the basics you can easily guide yourself through the process on your own.

Love and Light, ❤ Nicole xx

A Week For Psychic Connection – Monday Oracle 23 October 2017

I will soothe you and heal you,
I will bring you roses.
I too have been covered with thorns.

~ Jalaluddin Rumi

Hello, Lovelies!

If you read my forecast for October, you’ll know that it’s a month of energies of love, friendship, community and togetherness. It’s also a month for getting creative and for self-acceptance.

Keep that in mind as we look at the gifts which the oracle card Mysticism brings us.

So, what awareness does Mysticism bring us this week?

This is a week of unusually heightened energies. Your intuition will be strong, and your psychic ability ramped up.

In your meditations expect to connect not only with your usual Guides and Angels, but also with your loved ones who’ve crossed over, and with Ancestors from your family line whom you’ve never met in this lifetime. Never connected with any kind of energy in meditation before? This week is an excellent time to try!

These guided meditations may help you:

Simple Meditation For Connecting With Your Guides

Dreams that deliver messages and that help you make decisions or come to realisations are another key feature of this week’s energies.

It’s also a week for insights, revelations, psychic messages, energetic healing, working with your crystals, oracle or tarot cards and for journalling to find answers.

Need help or direction? Ask for a sign this week, or to be shown where to go next. This blog post will help you do that: How To Ask For A Sign

Supportive crystals this week?

Labradorite strengthens intuition and healing abilities, especially the ability to channel energy through your hands, and helps you to bring through answers and guidance for yourself and others. A terrific stone for personal growth and reflection. Red Jasper is my go-to stone for mental, physical and emotional rejuvenation in October. Deeply grounding, it helps you connect to your heart and your truth. Smoky Quartz gifts inner strength and the ability to listen deeply. Orange Calcite connects you in to inspiration and is a wonderful beginner stone for tuning in to the spiritual realms. Expect accelerated connection with your Guides!

Helpful essential oils?

I’m loving Young Living’s Clarity and Believe blends for October. Use Clarity for focus, inspiration and breakthroughs. Dab a drop on your Crown Chakra and the soles of your feet, inhale directly or add to your diffuser. Use Believe when you are doubting yourself and want to find your confidence and self-belief. It’s great to inhale directly, diffuse or add a drop to Heart Chakra and inner wrists. A few drops added to your bath make for magical self-care.

Want to make your own blend? Each of the following oils will work beautifully on their own for you this month, but they also make a delicious combination for diffusing. Frankincense elevates our mood and promotes spiritual connection and intuition, Lavender keeps us in flow and relaxed,  Ylang Ylang opens our hearts and is supportive when we feel anxious or overwhelmed, and Bergamot for joy, gratitude and optimism. To diffuse add 2 or three drops of each oil to your room or personal diffuser. You can find the oils here.

If you’d really like to learn how to tap into your intuitive and psychic abilities come join us for Retreat at the end of November – yes, you can be a complete beginner, and yes, it’s going to be fabulous!  More details here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

PS – Monday’s oracle card, ‘Mysticism’, is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman. I use any cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book.

How to use Intuition to Access Your Psychic Abilities

“Cease trying to work everything out with your minds. It will get you nowhere. Live by intuition and inspiration and let your whole life be Revelation.”
Eileen Caddy

We all have intuitive abilities – intuition is a glorious part of our human condition.  Problem is, most of us don’t know how to use it.

Today I’m going to take myself right back to the beginning. I’ll share with you some of the stronger intuitive moments I had before I began to really work with my psychic abilities.  I hope that by sharing them, you’ll be better able to recognise these moments in your own lives.  These aren’t fancy or sophisticated.  These are raw moments that led me to a different decision, understanding or action than if I’d just been coming from my head.

The more you listen to your intuition, the more your body attunes to those messages. It begins to heighten your sensitivity. This then begins to develop your extraordinary sensory perception (ESP) and opens the door to your psychic capabilities. All of the small messages to which we pay attention pave the way for the stronger and more important messages to come.

Intuition and gut instinct communicate with us in so many ways. You might get a flash of strong emotion, an image or a movie in your head, a feeling in your body, a sense of deja vu.  You might have an incredibly vivid dream, or a waking dream. Or, you might just know…

Here are some of my own experiences, as a guide for you.

Some of them weren’t about positive things:

In primary school I woke up in the middle of the night because something was wrong.  I could smell smoke, and I felt very anxious. I padded through the house in my pyjamas, but everyone was asleep and everything was as it should be. I climbed back into bed and all I could think about was a girl I knew at school. I wondered if she was angry with me.  The next morning I found out that her house had burned down in the middle of the night.  They were all okay. And their house was too far away from mine for me to have heard a siren or to have smelled anything.  They lost everything.

Early in high school, I had a creepy feeling about a family friend. While everyone else liked him, he made me incredibly uneasy. To me his eyes looked ‘too bright’ – like a bird’s eyes’s somehow, always watching, and watching too intensely. Although I couldn’t explain it, I felt very unsafe around him, and I felt that he was full of secrets. Nothing could convince me that he was a nice guy. I could ‘feel’ a wrongness about him somehow.  One day when I was left at home alone with him (he was working as a tradesman and I was home sick from school) he tried to sexually assault me. Mum came home unexpectedly, and I made sure after that to never be around him alone.  Years later, he went to prison – convicted of serial pedophilia and child pornography crimes, mostly against very young boys.

During a university break, a friend asked me to travel north to pick up a car she had just purchased.  We would drive it home together, stopping at beaches and interesting places along the way. Initially I said yes. It sounded like fun. But then everything seemed to conspire against me. I couldn’t get time off from work, I got food poisoning, one of my grandparents went to hospital. Nothing was working in my favour. I ended up saying no, but instead of feeling bad, I was flooded with this strange sense of relief. About two days after she left for her journey I got this metallic taste in my mouth, and I could smell something like hot brakes on a car.  Then I had a tumbling sensation, like being on one of those wild rides at a sideshow.  It came and went for about a week, and I found it distressing, but I had no idea what it was all about. Then it just stopped.  A few days later my friend’s parents called to me she had rolled her car on a dirt road heading down  a hill to a remote beach, and been badly injured. She spent months in hospital.

Some of my intuitive experiences have also been about very positive things:

At primary school I sat an examination to win a scholarship to one of Brisbane’s private high schools. Part of the examination required us to write creatively using one of a range of sentences as a starter. The words poured out of me and I just knew they were good. Although I felt unsure about my performance with the rest of the long examination, I was sure about that essay.  I knew it would win me a scholarship.  I felt a great certainty. The day that the letter came, I also knew. I just knew something really good was about to happen.  I felt light and happy all day.  When I came home mum had bought a cake and my grandparents had bought me a posy of flowers. My letter of offer was propped up on the kitchen table beside them. I’d won.

One day I was invited to a costume party.  I had no costume, and no idea where to get one from. I had to drive across town to meet a friend, and for some reason I decided not to take the freeway.  As I drove through a particular suburb, I decided for some inexplicable reason to turn right off the main road.  There in front of me was a massive costume hire place. I felt so very clever! And I found an awesome pirate outfit…

Many of you will already know this story, and it has happened long after I began working with my psychic gifts.  But it shows you how my intuition is still guiding me, even when my mind is somewhere else.  I was shopping, late one scorchingly hot summer afternoon, and I heard a sound like a peeping chicken in the shopping centre carpark. I couldn’t ignore it.  I was compelled to go and investigate, although I needed to get home because I had plans I’d been looking forward to all day. Something made me get out of the car, and go looking for the chicken. Of course it wasn’t a chicken – instead I found a tiny puppy, almost dead from heat and dehydration. I brought him home, and took him to the vet, who didn’t hold out much hope that he would survive the night. He proved everyone wrong, and Bert became a wonderful member of our family.

Beautiful Bert!

All you ever have to do with your intuition is listen, and go with what you are feeling or being shown. The more you use it, the easier it gets.  Intuition becomes stronger. Your senses become attuned to more of the flow of Universal wisdom and energy. We are all intuitive. That is our birthright. Like me, sometimes in life, for no apparent reason, you’ll just know.

Often, as people move into a space of psychic awakening, their daily lives becomes a constant stream of intuitive thoughts and experiences. This can be very confronting or disruptive but it settles down quickly the more that you honour and accept this intuitive aspect of yourself.

How about you? What has happened for you in your life that was guided by intuition? I’d love to know!

Much love to you, Nicole xx

Psychic Connection and Soul Mates – Monday Oracle 3 April 2017

“It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being.”
~ John Joseph Powell

Hello, Lovelies!

Here’s the oracle card I have chosen this Monday, and my take on the energetic outlook for the week ahead. I use any oracle or tarot cards shown as a prompt for channelled messages and my own intuitive wisdom, so my take is sometimes quite different to the meaning found in a book. ‘Soulmate’ is from the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Deck by Tori Hartman.

If you read my forecast for April, you’ll remember that April is all about the mind, our thoughts and self-talk. It’s a month for untangling old not-good-enough stories as we identify what’s working, what’s broken and where to from here.

So, what gifts does Soulmate bring for you this week?

It’s a card about connection, wisdom and tuning in.

This card gently reminds us that our head holds our mind as well as our Third Eye and Crown Chakras. Our mind is a lot like a computer. We exist as consciousness outside of our mind. Our mind does not define who we are – our mind is merely a tool and a governing agent for our body and systems.

We are not just our minds. We are also our emotions. We are also our experiences. We are also our intuition. We are souls having human experiences. Our Crown and Third Eye Chakras are gateways for Universal Flow. We are so much more than just our minds. And EVERYONE is made this way.

This is a big week for intuition and spiritual awareness. It’s a week where inspiration will come, where dreams will hold answers, where spiritual and psychic connection will happen easily and well.

Most importantly it’s a week where your soul and your own inner wisdom will help you to use your mind positively and productively. This week you can reach deep levels of awareness and understanding.

And those of you who were hoping that this was a post about FINALLY finding your true love?

Well, you can use your mind and your intuition to get clear about what you want in a relationship and then draw that to you. Don’t know how? I’ve created a range of activities and a guided meditation that you can use to guide you here.

It’s also a great week for falling in love! <3

Supportive crystals this week?

Snowflake Obsidian will help to remove old negative self-talk and replace it with optimism. Selenite will help you to connect into your guides, angels and psychic ability. Amethyst will truly boost your intuitive abilities and help you on your spiritual path.  Rose Quartz if you’re ready to attract love.

Helpful essential oils?

Young Living’s Envision essential oil blend, or a combination (or singly!) of any of Geranium, Spruce, Ylang Ylang and Frankincense. Envision oil is one of the oils I use with my students when I teach my intuition and channelling classes. It calms your mind and opens your awareness – and it smells so good! It’s a combination of spruce, orange, sage, geranium, lavender and rose. Just brilliant for connecting heart and mind, and for gently opening you to your psychic capabilities It’s my oil of choice in my diffuser this week. You can find all the oils here.

Holding you, as always, in my thoughts, prayers and meditations, and intending for a you a life of abundance and joy, where you are no longer limited by your doubts.

All my love,

Nicole ❤ xx

Acceptance – A Short Documentary about Owning Who You Are

2016-07-20-14-31-49

“The things that make me different are the things that make me.”  ~ A.A. Milne

“You are always welcome at my table.” ~ Nicole Cody

Last year I invited my friend Kerry Warnholtz to come spend some time with me as I prepared for and then ran my Chakra Wisdoms retreat.

Kerry is a talented photographer and videographer who sees the world through soulful and ever-watchful eyes. I hoped that she might be able to capture some footage and a few stills for my new website. My brief to her was that I wanted her to somehow show the love and care I put into each event that I run, and how precious each of my students is to me – how much I take that teaching and mentoring responsibility into my heart.

Kerry didn’t just capture that – she captured me – a little snapshot into my life, and the struggles I have had in coming to a place of self-acceptance. This short film speaks a lot to my WHY – why I do what I do – and I thought many of you might relate to the struggles I had in my earlier life to accept myself as I am.

What I want you to know, more than anything, is that I believe in you and that I want you to be who you are and be true to yourself. Being you is the most important thing you can do, and it’s time. The world needs us to stop pretending to be who we are not or to represent ourselves in the world as less than we are. It’s time to embrace ourselves and each other in all of our glorious diversity and similarity.

So, watch this little documentary. Come meet me at my farm, and in my life, and know that you are always welcome at my table.

You are among friends here.

Thanks for sharing the journey with me,

Nicole <3 xx

Pop-Up Shop Cancellation and Workshops Turned into Webinars

“What would you do if you couldn’t do what you want?’-“Something else.”
~ Marty Rubin

Hi Lovelies,

Just a quick heads-up to let you know that my Pop-Up Shop and Events won’t be going ahead this weekend. I’m home, waiting for surgery, and being as stylish as a girl can be when she’s wearing pyjamas 24/7.

The thing is, I’d put so much work into this weekend that I’m postponing. And they were going to be FABULOUS workshops!!!

So, I’m thinking that I will re-engineer them as webinars or home-study courses (delivered online or to your email), or a combination of both. Because it seems a waste to not use all of this good work. This also means that all of you who weren’t able to make it to Brisbane will now have a chance to participate.

Here is the run-down of what the postponed workshops were all about:

Spiritual Foundations – This one day workshop will cover the practices and tools that can help you to develop a regular spiritual practice and strengthen your intuitive and psychic ability. We will look at the fundamentals of working with crystals, connecting with your guides, simple meditation techniques, using oracle and tarot cards to give yourself or others an intuitive reading, and some foundation metaphysical principles for raising your vibration. These are all the things I used at the beginning of my own journey. I’ll also show you how to move past limiting self-doubt and into a place of connection and flow.

Spiritual ‘Business Round Table’ – Did you know that one of my superpowers is business? If  you have a business that you would like to launch or to grow, this might be the workshop for you. In the morning we’ll be looking at defining your product or service, and your target audience. We’ll also look at how to work with your Guides and intuition to really align your business with your natural talents and skills. We’ll examine the practicalities of connecting with your tribe, and how that can look. We’ll learn how to use spiritual energies as well as management skills to set your intention and put your dreams in motion. We’ll look at what business model might suit you best. In the afternoon we’re going to have a ’round table’ where we workshop your biggest problem or idea around your business. I will give EVERY participant attention and advice, so we are keeping these numbers small. You’ll also need to fill out a small survey before the workshop so that I can do some preparation for each of you before the workshop and make my material relevant to your particular needs.

If you’re interested in either of these workshops, please let my wonderful PA Dana know at nicolecodyinfo@gmail.com and she’ll place you on our mailing list. That way we can let you know as soon as I’ve pulled all the details together.

Sorry to disappoint those of you who were looking forward to coming along, but I promise that the courses I offer in place of these workshops will be great!

Much love to you,

Nicole <3 xx

Mini-Retreat Day 4 – Deepening Our Connection

“Reach deep within, and reconnect with the essence of your being.”
~ Bryant McGill

We become better at something through practice. This is as true for meditation, spiritual connection and soul growth as it is for any other skill.

If we have a desire to become more spiritually connected, more energetically attuned – then what is needed is for us to devote regular time to sit quietly with ourselves, so that we might reflect, connect and deepen our understanding of ourselves and our place within the world.

Today I invite you to consider making spiritual connection a more regular part of your life. Find an hour each week or a little time each day, to meditate and then to work on strengthen your connection to your soul, your guides and angels, and to universal energy.

Go back to the Higher Self Meditation or the Connect with your Guide Meditation and strengthen your connection by doing this meditation again.

Then sit quietly with your journal and your oracle or tarot cards. Shuffle your cards while asking What do I most need to know today?

Pull your first card, and then look closely at it. Let the picture speak to you. What ideas and thoughts come to your mind? Write today’s date at the top of the page in your journal and then write down your insights from card number one.

Now think of a situation where you’d like to gain clarity or direction. Reshuffle the deck of cards while thinking about this issue.

2015-11-10 07.38.35

Then pull up to five cards, one at a time, and lay them out in front of you.

Go back to the first card, look at the card closely and allow answers to come to you. Write them in your journal, and then repeat the process for the other cards you have chosen.

Finally, sit quietly, close your eyes and just be. In this space of silence and soul connection you may then want to offer up a prayer of gratitude and thanks. You may want to send love and light out into the Universe or to specific people and situations. You may want to use this time to call on your Guides, Angels, Ancestors or God/Universal Energy/Spirit for additional help and guidance as you journey through your day.

Know that you are deeply loved, and never alone. There is always love surrounding you.
Thinking of you today, and wishing for you a day of insights and growing inner peace.

Much love,

Nicole xx

Soul Sanctuary Retreat 2015 – Just a Few Places Left!

“The greatest hazard of all, losing one’s self, can occur very quietly in the world, as if it were nothing at all. No other loss can occur so quietly; any other loss – an arm, a leg, five dollars, a wife, etc. – is sure to be noticed.”
~ Søren Kierkegaard

“Self-care is never a selfish act – it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.”
~ Parker Palmer

Every year going back as far as I can remember my mother boldly announces on New Year’s Day, ‘It’s the Year of Me this year! It’s going to be different this year. This year will be the year of ME! I’m going to do what I want to do. For me!’  After which Mum starts the year so well-intentioned, but by February the wheels have fallen off the bus, and by the end of the year she’s thoroughly exhausted and nothing much has changed, and she still hasn’t gotten around to those important things for herself that she cares about. Instead her life has been work, more work and meeting everyone else’s needs.

And you know what? Mum’s story is most women’s story. Mum’s story was one of the driving factors behind me creating the very first Soul Sanctuary residential retreat several years ago – a women only space to provide nurture, support and inspiration, to get clear about what’s important to you, and an opportunity to just be, without having to meet anyone else’s needs except your own. That’s a powerful place for bringing about positive change, and for creating a life that actually supports your visions and dreams for yourself, rather than you perpetually enabling the dreams of others while yours take a back seat.

Mum, cutting her January Birthday Cake and proclaiming (as she does every year) 'Onward and Upward!'

Mum, during my high school years, cutting her January Birthday Cake and proclaiming (as she does every year) ‘Onward and Upward!’ Of course, I’m now older than Mum was in this photo, and I am so grateful that in the past year Mum has found a way to live her life for herself, and to put her own hopes and dreams first. It’s never too late to be who you might have been!

This year’s Soul Sanctuary will be held in beautiful Byron Bay from November 28 to December 5. It’s a time to relax and regroup after the hectic and transitional energies of 2015, and to get ready for the amazing possibilities that 2016 will birth for us.

If I was to sum up the energies of 2016 in one word, that word would be LAUNCH. It will be a year for expressing yourself in the world, taking new directions and finding new ways of being, for starting and growing life-changing projects, for truly becoming more of who you are. A year that demands honesty and space for being yourself, sharing your gifts and moving into the flow of creativity and abundance.

But we can’t take full advantage of this prosperous energy if we come to the new year with a flat battery. We can’t take full advantage of this gift if we don’t know how to create space for ourselves and our dreams, even as we are taking care of everyone else and needing to be present to the demands of our everyday lives. We can’t thrive if we keep pleasing others while disappointing ourselves and putting ourselves second, or even last…

2015’s Soul Sanctuary Retreat will give you the tools for extreme self-care, for personal and life management, and for being able to put plans on the page that are actionable and realistic, with just the right amount of daring.

I’ve also been cooking up a little extra surprise for this retreat – a very practical tool to help you to get organised in such a way that you can look 2016 in the eye and say with confidence ‘2016? This is going to be the year of ME!’ I’m so excited about this tool that I could just about bust, but I’m going to keep my secret just a little longer. You’ll have to come to retreat if you want to find out exactly what it is. 🙂

Are you ready for a change? Do you need a way forward out of stuck? Do you have a project or idea you want to launch in 2016? Do you just need a big dose of rest, nurture and soul connection? If the answer is yes, then come join us!

Highlights of this week-long retreat:

  • Meditation and healing techniques we can use at home to help self and others by connecting into Universal Energy for healing and guidance
  • Your own personal healing session and custom-made bush-flower essence to support and integrate that healing
  • We will learn how to create space in each day, and each week, for ourselves and our own needs
  • We will learn about the Akashic Records and find out what strengths and talents we have come here to work with in this lifetime. This will help us to decide which dreams to follow, and how to best make our life meaningful and satisfying
  • We’ll identify the stories we keep telling ourselves and re-enacting – negative and positive – that are holding us back from growth and success
  • We will determine our One Big Thing, and from that we’ll develop our own personal Best Daily Habits, Weekly Planning Session Strategies and a Brilliant Year Flow Plan
  • We will learn how to use the Akashic Records to travel along our own personal timeline – past, present and future – in order to truly empower our life vision
  • We will create our own programmed-crystal wearable art to support and strengthen our 2016 Soul Energy and One Big Thing
  • We’ll learn how to make our lives and our success more sustainable and enjoyable
  • We will give ourselves space to relax and renew
  • We will learn some simple strategies for rebalancing and energizing our bodies
  • We will harness the shamanic power of plants to transform ourselves and our emotions. We will also learn how to make simple skincare and self-nurture products using recipes that combine crystals, essential oils and flowers. Because sometimes, women need communal craft and reconnection to nature!
  • We will create our own Power Essence – a fragrance that will allow us to focus deeply on our dreams and opportunities for 2016

There will be plenty of restful time for naps, swims, contemplation, friendship and personal projects. There will be time for meditation, and lots of channeled goodness with Nicole’s beautiful team. There will be time for healing, journaling, relaxing, spiritual goodness and lots of yummy organic food, lovingly created by our own personal chef. And of course you’ll go home with a Goodie Bag brimful with treats and surprises, so leave space in your suitcase!

We’ll also be working with the energies of the waning gibbous moon in Cancer, which is perfect for focusing on our own needs and plans, and for nurturing and mothering ourselves in order to give birth to our bigger and wiser dreams.

Now that we are firmly in the flow of this new era of awakening, and the energy of 2012 and the preceding energetic era is firmly behind us, everything is happening more easily and faster. Let’s learn how to consciously evolve using this quickening energy.

I’m so excited about this course, and we still have a few places left.

Something so secret just now, and so, so cool that I am literally having to clamp my hand to my mouth to stop from shouting out about it? So cool… SO exciting… SO SECRET!!! It will be my Secret Santa gift to you.

I’ll just keep that secret a little longer and hope that I don’t blow up from the excitement of it all!!!

Why This Teacher Is Still A Student

“It is not that I’m so smart. But I stay with the questions much longer.”
~ Albert Einstein

I first discovered meditation when I was eleven. My dad worked for a book company, and he’d bring home boxes of books which I was allowed to trawl though. Some of them were about meditation, working with the subconscious mind and developing ‘mind power’. These were things I’d already been playing around with on my own since my earliest memories, but here they were all laid out in a book. I was hooked. Each day I would shut the door to my bedroom and practice focusing my mind, doing breathwork and other meditation methods.

Soon I was meditating every day.

Meditation soothed my anxiety, and helped me to study better. I was able to think more clearly, and to sleep more soundly.

Eventually I found that meditation was a doorway to inner knowing.

Inner knowing led to more profound intuition.

Intuition led to a deepening psychic ability.

Journalling was my other self-exploration discovery. Years later I would add crystals, Tibetan singing bowls, oracle cards and runes to my toolkit too.

Now I aid others to connect to and use their intuition. I show them how to meditate. I help them find connection with their Higher Selves, their Guides, the Akashic Records and many more journeying and self-work techniques. I teach channelling and psychic development.

But I never stop learning.

I am no guru. I am a fellow journeyer, walking that same path toward self-knowledge and more.

Every time I run a course or a retreat I learn something. When my students sit down to do the activities I set, I do them too. There are always new insights to glean. Deeper perspectives. So many times I have been humbled by the wisdom of one of my students, and the way they have propelled my own journey forward.

And twice a day, without fail, before and after sleep I meditate.

The more I learn, the more there is to share with others. I delight in learning and in sharing. It fills me up to be able to grow and evolve. To truly create or find a new understanding.

Most of all, though, I practice. I work on one thing to gain a level of skill and proficiency before moving to the next. Some things, like meditation, will always have more for me to explore and master.

I highly recommend creating some space in your life for spiritual practice and self-reflection. Even one hour a week will help you to know yourself better, and to awaken your metaphysical abilities.

What do you need to start?

Meditation. Maybe a little journalling. A little time for quiet self-reflection. It doesn’t need to be difficult, or expensive. All you really need is you!

How to Be An Everyday Mystic

“Rituals are like electrically powered transmitters sending stimulating sparks of electric current or inspirational feelings that connect us to our inner being or soul.”
~ Wes Adamson

Who doesn’t want to embrace their inner mystic? We want to be able to listen to our intuition, and to call on energies that help us find the right path, make better choices and summon forth clarity and direction.

We want to be in that place of flow.

But flow takes work, right?

So we make all kinds of rules and commitments. I will journal thirty minutes every day. I will meditate every Sunday for two hours, and each morning after my sun salutes. I will raw food, stand-on-my-head, honour the four directions, utter the magical affirmations, work on my yoga, do my deep breathing, consult my oracle, practice gratitude, heal all my everythings, fix myself for ten focused minutes, love myself unconditionally – even on bad hair days or after overt calorie consumption, and green juice twice daily. All while doing all the other everythings I need to get done each day.

Sigh.

No wonder we get overwhelmed, off track and downright resentful of this thing that could be a source of comfort, support and, dare I say it, pleasure in our lives.

Too often we complicate things.

Especially when it comes to spiritual and self-development.

So today I have a suggestion that comes from long experience. My own. And that of my students and clients who now also practice this simple technique.

Put your spiritual toolkit together. Put your cards and runes, your crystals and essential oils, your journal and smudge sticks or incense or whatever else you use in a place where you will see and use them.

If you travel, create a little grab-bag of stuff to take with you when you’re mobile.

When you make these things central in your life you will be more inclined to use them as a natural part of your day, rather than some kind of imposed ritual intended to make you more spiritual or intuitive.

Go to your tools when you feel drawn to them. Play with them. Hang out with them. Practice using them. Do things that help you to feel more in flow, by being in flow rather than forcing it.

Some simple ideas to add to your everyday mystic practice:

  • Take a moment and just breathe. BE in awareness as you draw air into and then out of your lungs. It only takes a minute to bring you back into your body and being in the moment.
  • Light a stick of incense. Let it be a sacred act to purify and bless your surroundings and you.
  • Pause in front of your sacred space and offer up a prayer, or draw some positive energy into your body.
  • Choose a favourite crystal and hold it for a moment or pop it in your pocket.
  • Make a cuppa and write in your journal for five minutes.
  • Go sit in the sun with your journal and read through it for five minutes, reflecting on what you’ve written.
  • Play with your singing bowl, singing bell, magical flute or other funky sound-inspired wonder.
  • Gaze on a positive affirmation or saying and really think on it for a minute.
  • Draw a card for the day and spend a minute to think about what that card means for you.
  • Select an essential oil and apply or diffuse it.
  • Read a section from an inspiring book.
  • Stand with your bare feet on the ground and just BE with the earth for a moment or two.

This way these simple rituals will become a natural part of your daily life, and create pathways that lead us deeper into ourselves and our true nature, as well as pathways that connect us to our guides, angels and the Divine.
