Planner Update, Christmas Office Hours and a Big Thank You!

“Rest and be thankful.”
William Wordsworth

It’s Christmas Eve, and I would like to send a big thank you to our Cauldrons and Cupcakes family for your support throughout 2017, and particularly for your support of our Year of ME community and our first ever hard-copy Year of ME Planner for 2018.

I’m excited to report that our first print-run is completely sold out! But it’s not too late for you to secure yours. Our second limited-edition print run goes into production on January 2, and Dana will have them all packaged up and ready to ship to you a few days after that. This will be a limited run, so if you are keen to secure yours please order through our online store as soon as possible so we can be sure to have one ready for you. Meanwhile you’ll be able to access the digital copy if you’re eager to get started before your hard-copy Planner arrives.

Dana and our team are taking a well-earned break over the Christmas period, and will be back in the office on January 2. Thank you for your patience while they spend time with their families and loved ones. We aim to live by the values we share here on our blog, and so we’ll all be stepping away over this period, although I will still have a few key blog posts for you, as well as some holiday-snap sharing on Instagram and Facebook.

Thanks too for your patience as Dana has coped with the absolute inundation of pre-Christmas orders, as well as navigating a sick child, email overload, Paypal, long queues in crowded Post Offices, me being in Hong Kong and life in general. All outstanding orders as of yesterday are now processed, and Dana is now on leave. Massive hugs to her for her efforts. She was so determined to get all your orders processed before the office closed! We just love her to bits!!!

If you missed my post yesterday you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve uploaded recordings of my 15 December 2017 channellings for purchase. There is over 90 minutes of guidance there about the energies of 2018, as well as information on health, wellbeing, relationships and developing your intuitive and empathic abilities.

Stay tuned for my special Christmas Gift for you tomorrow, and thanks again for supporting our Year of ME Planner and Community. If you haven’t joined us yet we’d love to have you. You’ll be among friends for a year of sharing, growth and support in a group of caring, like-minded souls. (All details in our store)

Okay, I’m waving goodbye now too – today’s the day Ben and I embark on our cruise around Vietnam and Taiwan after a fabulous few days in Hong Kong. (That’s us below, on a Hong Kong tram after a wonderful night out with friends!)

Biggest hugs and much love to you all, Nicole ❤ xx

We Got 3 Million Views!!!!

“Use the wings of the flying Universe,
Dream with open eyes;
See in darkness.”

~ Dejan Stojanovic

Goodness!

Somehow in the past few days we have reached a new magical number.

Three million views.

we-got-3-million-views-ver-3-1

It’s a long way from when I started this blog, thinking no-one would ever read it, and being ecstatic when my daily readership hit two figures. (Eleven. I got eleven readers in one day!!!)

So, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for the gift of friendship. Thanks for the beautiful community that you have helped to create. Thanks for sharing the journey with me, and for being with me through the good times and life’s challenges too.

You’re the reason I get up every morning and keep writing.

You’re in my daily thoughts, my prayers and my meditations as I think about how best to serve you, to help you, to share with you.

You’ve become family, and I’m so very grateful to have you in my life.

Sending you the very biggest hugs and love,

and a celebratory cupcake with magical healing powers too. Cos cupcakes!

Letter Writing Challenge – Week One

Thank-You-Card1

“One of the deep secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.”Lewis Carroll

“The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.”Oscar Wilde

Welcome to Week One of my Letter Writing Challenge. Over the next six weeks, every Monday, I am posting a theme and ideas, and asking you to pen a short (or long!) letter to someone, and then pop it in the post or otherwise deliver it to them.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Your favourite pen or writing implement
  • Writing paper, cards or postcards
  • A small crystal or stone
  • Between five and thirty minutes each week to sit down and write your letter.

Today’s letter is a warm-up. A few words or sentences that express our appreciation. Ready? Let’s go!

This Week’s Theme :  The Simple Thank You

Start by holding your crystal or stone in your hands. Close your eyes, and build an energy of gratitude in your heart. Feel your heart swell with emotion. Pour that energy of gratitude into the crystal and then continue to sit in meditation for a minute or two longer. Think of your daily life, and a person in your life who somehow contributes to your day going well. It could be a teacher, the person who makes your morning coffee, the smiling lady at the sandwich shop, or the author of a great book you are reading. Trust that the person you think of first will be the right person for today’s activity.

Once you have been guided to a person, write them a short note.

You could use a note card, a postcard, or a piece of paper.

Write a few simple words or sentences to express your thanks to that person for the contribution they make to your life, and what that means to you. Then sign your name.

So many people live without recognition and acknowledgement of their efforts in helping others. This week our little challenge will go some way towards reversing that. We’ll be sharing a little spark of love and goodwill in the world, and that’s always a good thing.

If you don’t know the name of the person you want to thank, just write

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for___________________ 🙂 Sign your name xx

Here are some suggestions:

  • Thank you for making such great coffee. It’s the best part of my morning.
  • Thanks for being my friend.
  • Thanks for being my sister/brother/father/mother.
  • Thanks for making me laugh.
  • Thanks for being there.
  • Thank you for always having the best fruit selection.
  • Your lunches are amazing. Thank you.
  • I love your yoga classes. Thank you!
  • Thank you for always giving such friendly service.
  • Thanks for being so kind to my pet/child/partner.
  • Thanks for helping me with.
  • I really enjoyed __________________ Thank you!

You don’t need a long letter. Just a few words or sentences is fine. In fact, you could even carry an extra card in your bag or pocket this week, and pen a spontaneous note of thanks when the mood takes you.

When your note is finished, post it off. Or hand it over with a smile. Or leave it with a tip after your coffee or meal.

It is also perfectly acceptable to leave your note on someone’s desk, in their pocket or lunchbox or briefcase, or on their pillow (no – I am not endorsing crazy stalker behaviour here!)

Happy Writing!

Lots of love, Nicole xx

“They always gives me bath salts,” complained Nobby. “And bath soap and bubble bath and herbal bath lumps and tons of bath stuff and I can’t think why, ‘cos it’s not as if I hardly ever has a bath. You’d think they’d take the hint, wouldn’t you?”
~ Terry Pratchett, Hogfather

And the Winner is…

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.”
~ Melody Beattie

As my final November gesture to celebrate all of the support that has been shown to my fledgling blog, I offered a custom-designed healing necklace to one lucky reader.

Today I’m proud to announce that the winner is Julie Goyder.  Julie has a beautiful blog over at jmgoyder.com, and it’s really worth a visit. Julie, I’ll be contacting you shortly so that we can work out the details but for now, here’s my heartfelt congratulations!

For all of you who didn’t win, I’m sending Love, Light and Hugs.  Thank you for your encouragement and support for Cauldrons and Cupcakes. I’m honoured to share the journey with you.

And now, something to uplift you, and to help you cultivate that feeling of gratitude in your own life.  You’ll need about ten minutes – consider it a meditation!

Bless, Nicole ♥ xoxo

Win a Healing Necklace, Made Especially For You!

This is the final week of my blog supporter love-up, and I’ve saved the best ’til last.

So far the beautiful Anita has won the every.day.presence book by Simone De Haas.

This week Tammy of onelittlestranger wins a crystal just for her, chosen and channelled by me. Congratulations, Tammy! I shall be delving through my magical cupboard to find just the right stone for you. ❤

I am so very grateful for all of the support and connection that you have shown me and my blog thus far.  I had no idea when I wrote my very first (rather lame) post that things would snowball the way they have. But my intention from the beginning with Cauldrons and Cupcakes has been to uplift, to support, to inspire and encourage – and to share my life so that I demystify the supposed ‘strangeness’ of having metaphysical abilities.

The spiritual journey is also a healing journey, and so my last offering to you in this big month of celebration is this – a custom-made healing necklace, hand crafted by me, and incorporating crystals and stones that are attuned to your own vibration so that you can experience positive shift, healing and growth in some significant physical, emotional or spiritual area of your life.

Here are some examples of necklaces I’ve made thus far:

❤ Fee’s necklace:

❤ Sophie’s Strand

❤ The Three Sisters’ Stones

When I make your necklace I meditate upon you first, to ask what you most need.  I choose the beads and crystals, and as I string the necklace I say a prayer and affirmation over each bead, no matter how tiny.  Finally, when the beads are strung, I hold the necklace in my hands and say a prayer of Blessing and do a further meditation for you, then I place the necklace in my crystal grid for twenty four hours to charge it up for you. There is love in every single bead, and they are truly powerful pieces.

All you need to do to be in the draw is to leave a comment below.  It doesn’t matter where in the world you live – if you are meant to win, you shall, and I shall happily send your necklace on to you.  Wishing you luck, and peace in your heart. ❤ Nicole xx
